The three star Grand Hotel has an ideal and beautiful location on Sete’s Canal Royal, within walking distance of restaurants, cafés and the few sights the town has to offer, and close to the bus stop for the beach and nearby villages. The hotel looks really grand from the outside and the entrance hall, the atrium with balconies all around... More

Loved this hotel; the rooms are not ultra fancy; they are typical European smallish in size but well equipped. The bathroom was excellent and hot water plentiful. Our view out the floor length windows onto the canal was perfect. The hotel made me think of where New Orleans got its influence. Gorgeous art everywhere among the palms and comfortable furniture... We stayed at this gorgeous hotel on our one night in Sete. It's a gorgeous top rated hotel located right on the canal street, facing the canal. Our view from our suite was spectacular with sweeping views of the canal! The hotel itself is beautiful both on the outside and on the inside. A gorgeous light filled atrium with a... More

This is a charming hotel with an excellent location. We had a corner room with a superb view on two canals. Our room was quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom updated. If you like modern hotels don't choose that one, but if you like charm, comfort and a good location, Grand Hotel is a good choice

To stay here is a wonderful experience. The rooms at the front overlook the canal so well worth booking one of these. Comfortable and clean, good aircon and pleasant en-suite. The parking used to be next door but is now a few doors down and makes for an interesting experience, could be the set for an American gangster movie. Good... More

Sete is not exactly a glamorous destination on the Mediterranean coast but the Grand Hotel is a little oasis of tranquillity! Once the doors slide closed behind you, you are elevated into a world of privilege and class! The rooms (we had two) were comfortably furnished with quality furnishings and the beds were large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good... More

Gracious old hotel, nicely renovated through-out and keeping the great interior court intact. The room we had was on the small side but the view over the canals made up for it. There is a great restaurant, on the expensive side, in the building. Stopping in front of the hotel is a problem, since there is no doorman, the space... More

A lovely building, full of character. The view from the rooms at the front of the building is wonderful. Well worth a visit. Although it is a classic hotel,it has all the qualities, and high standards of a 3*+ . Plenty of places to wine and dine if you plan not to eat at the hotel.

Superbly located splendidly grande hotel opposite a major canal junction in the centre of Sete. Near canalside restaurants with entertainment canalside. Our room was of good size/quality with en suite bathroom. The galleried landing off which the room radiate look down upon the lounge area. Breakfest was good too. Recommended.

Our room had a large bed and 2 twins. The room was large as was the bathroom. Took a while to cool down the room but by night the air-conditioning was doing its job. Quiet room. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially the front desk. Gated parking for hotel guests was about 12 euro. Hotel is right... More
