We stayed for three nights in the Mango suite on the first floor. Before our trip, Jan had been super-helpful responding to queries and organising our taxi. She and her staff were delightful - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were excellent, different menu every day and the vegetarian evening meals could not be bettered anywhere. Not too much to...

I've travelled quite widely throughout Morocco myself... and found The Repose to be a perfect way to introduce my daughter to what I love about this amazing country. Unlike some 'touristy' Moroccan towns or city's, Sale remains so wonderfully unspoilt. Unlike some other Riads this one perfectly combines traditional authentic touches with those all important comforts. Will definitely be back!

The Repose was an amazing place in an amazing country! The riad is beautiful and comfortable with great food. While we never had dinner, the breakfasts lead me to believe their dinners are fantastic. Everyone is helpful and Jane is a wonderful host! She arranged everything we asked for. I couldn't have been happier with our stay in The Repose!

Travelled with a friend to Rabat for a short break and what an absolute pleasure it was to stay at this Riad. Having stayed at luxury hotels around the world this small Riad can stand with them, they may not have the pool and minor luxuries but it really not needed the owners and staff were amazing, we could have...

The service at this characterfully restored Riad is charming, with plenty of attentive staff who are happy to help. The rooms are boholuxe Moroccan and I was pleased that the bed was firm and comfy. The rooms overlooking the little streets are noisy as motos, people and other traffic are passing by directly beneath your open window. Some might like...

The riad is located along a natrow alley and you have to do a little walk to reach the place.. From the outside, it looks like just a simple door and probably a typical lodging.. But once you are come inside, you will discover a very beautiful riad and a very nice combinations of colours and patterns.. Jan is so...

We spent a week in Salé in August and stayed 6 nights at The Repose and had a wonderful time. Jan and Rachid have transformed this house into a place of charm and comfort, and run their riad-hotel with professional efficiency and personal warmth. Always available to help and advise, never intrusive or effusive. A perfect balance for us, allowing...

I initially booked for 2 nights. However after experiencing personal warm hospitality by the owners and staff, I extended my stay for the whole duration of my visit in Morocco. Jan and her staff went an extra mile to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Jan also being a Londoner was a great bonus. The location was also very...

The Repose, is an oasis of calm in the heart of Sale's traditional medina, Rabat. Lovingly restored by the owners, Rachid and Jan, this luxury riad has been renovated and decorated using traditional materials and craftsmanship to give a haven of peace and tranquility. The whole riad oozes Moroccan charm and each of the 4 suites has its own unique identity. The salon is ideal for dining in the cooler months, reading a book or playing games. The courtyard is great for sipping tea, listening to the splashes of the fountain, while the terrace is fabulous for breakfast, sunbathing or siestas in the shade.
