Me and my friend just got back from staying at the Captains hotel. It is located up a hill about 600 metres from the beach. The hill gets quite steep for the last 50 metres or so. This isn't a problem though as the Commodore hotel is at the bottom of the steeper part so you can cut through this...

Our first room was a cell looking out at a wall, but when we complained we were moved to a room with a fantastic view looking over the bay. Staff were okay. We were self catering so can't comment on food. Argassi itself was a bit dull really, there was lots of restaurants but no bars with any atmosphere in....

We stayed at a apartment there from 18th Sept. to 25th Sept. The receptionist didnt have a clue, went to complain about the dampness and leaky roof in the bathroom. First thing she did was insisted that that particular room was empty even though she was the one that checked us in. All in all Argassi was great we enjoyed...

Me and my boyfriend decided to go to Captains after a lot of discussing over hotels. Overall it was great, but there are some things that I think is important to know before you go there. Here are my -. - The hotel is located 500 metres from the beach. It's not a big thing in the morning when you...

The Captain's Hotel is situated some 500 meters from the town centre at the top of a steep road on the hillside overlooking Zakynthos Bay. Alongside it are sister Hotels, the Commodore and Admirals. The views from our balcony were stunning, looking out over the town and the bay. All the staff were curteous and helpful but were not helped...
