To say that the staff were not welcoming is an understatement, as they made no effort to make us welcome. No information about the hotel at all in the room. In the tourist business, it is surely part of the aim is to have one person who can speak a modicum of English, but we failed to find it in... More

The location of this hotel is great, next to the river, however that's about the only positive we have.... Staff attempted, but could not communicate well. Facility needs updating, very 70's. The hotel seems to be a favorite of the locals. During dinner, they seated a local fellow with his computer, near our table. After his phone rang for the... More

I chose this hotel because it belongs to Saigon Tourist and I expected the quality of services same like other hotels under this chain and I was totally wrong; breakfast is poor - only provide instant noodle/ phở and egg; upon check out the receptionist charged me for 1 pack of G7 coffee (it is supported to provide free in... Stayed here for 1 night. I found dark hairs on the bed sheets when I pulled back the covers in 2 places. There was dark hair on the floor by the sink too. I have blonde hair so it clearly wasn't mine. The shower had spiders and cobwebs. One plus the shower was hot, but my a/c didn't work well.... More

We walked in off street and booked. Great spot, decent rooms, but went down hill from that point. Been amazed at great customer service in all price ranges all over Vietnam. Sorry to say this was the worse of many hotel stays. No hot water, hardly any breakfast and charged for coffee in the hotel room mini bar. Lots of... More

We stayed at Sai Gon Phong Nha hotel in the course of visiting the beautiful Phong Nha national park. Our room was US$50, and for that we got a spotless and large room with tv, air con, bedside lamps, nice en suite, and king sized bed, plus cooked breakfast (choice of either noodle soup or eggs and bread). The views... More

This hotel was great! It faces beautiful mountains and river. Lovely rooms with good air conditioning, soft beds, clean bedding and a good bathroom. Which is needed after all the caving activities nearby, just a short drive away. Just a short walk and your in the town for food and drinks. Western style food was available in the backpackers hostel.

Probably, it is best place in Dong Hoi (expect of Phon Nha farm stay). Rooms are modern, and probably recently renovated, but some small problems mainly with bathroom equipment have already arisen. Food is eatable and not expensive. Laundry service is available, but you "must help" the staff to do it properly. No massage facilities. Do not expect too much... More

Me and a friend stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for the purposes of visiting the Hang En cave( pls check out my review of this cave, under Oxalis adventure). I write this review in that context. I find the rooms spacious and appropriate, but my friend felt that the sheets smelt a little funny. This hotel does seem... More
