I've stayed here a few times. Staff are friendly and generally extremely pleasant and helpful. To get to the bedrooms you I need to go up some narrow stairs & narrow corridors. The rooms are clean but the ensuites are a bit stuffy & can be a little smelly as a result. The food is very average indeed.

We decided to go out for dinner for mothers day and hadn't booked anywhere so we took a drive and happened to stop in strokestown and decided to try dinner here. My husband loved his mushrooms as a starter, I wasn't too keen on the shredded chicken but I did eat it, just thought it was lacking flavour. I had...

Hotel is amazing. Very very friendly and extremely helpful staff. Was there for a dear friends 90th birthday and everything about the hotel was super. A beautiful meal was served and my friend was so well looked after. Kindness personified. Had been there for Feile in October and stayed 2 nights. Rooms excellent. Lovely place to stay and only a...

I'm local to the area and having Roscommon, Tarmon & Carrick nearby with lovely restaurants, I'm rarely short of somewhere to enjoy an evening meal. The Percy A La Carte is excellent and certainly the best value around for the feed you get. The quality of food is superb and the menu is so varied. I look forward to having...

We usually stop here with our children enroute across the country. Staff always so lovely to us & helpful especially the lady in the bar/cafe during the weekday mornings. Scones good, & breakfast options always lovely, French toast, boxty etc. Always spotless in cafe, restaurant & toilets. Will continue to visit

We stayed at the Percy French for 4 nights at the end of July. After many many years of visiting the same hotel and town, we find service levels get higher and higher every single summer. The Murray family simply cannot do enough for you along with Raymond and Eta. I cannot wait for our next visit!
