Went to Thirunallar temple and stayed at Karaikkal, there aren't many hotels in Karaikkal town. So with no other option we stayed here for a night. Very basic rooms, no room service, no hot water, parking under construction. The manager and staff are very helpful and sincere and assist you in whatever possible. They are under renovation so i think by a month or so they may have more facilities like a restaurant and proper parking. There are eateries nearby and many shops for any need.
We are three French peope, we stayed 10 days in this hotel. It is very clean, and very comfortable. The staff is so nice. I loved the man who was in the reception, he was so available. The young boy also is very very nice, with always the smile. They are very very warmful.
My family had planned our yearly Thirunallar visit in March, despite the average reviews we decided to stay at this hotel and we were pleasantly surprised by the property. The rooms were very clean and new, the bathrooms were neat and there seemed to be running hot water available round the clock. A special to the manager who made sure that our stay was comfortable and all our needs met. He mentioned the restaurant is under renovation, and will be up soon, but it was not too much of a problem, as we told him our breakfast preferences the night before and found it waiting for us in the morning. Its worth it for it is a good place to rest after a tiring day. A very good place to stay and we found it good value for money for our 2 day stay over there.
I stayed here for a day for a temple visit with my family. The hotel appears to be recently sold and a new manager appears to be working hard to make things better. Hot water wasnt available before and now it is not an issue. Rooms are clean and sheets are clean. Bathroom is clean. Service was good. Quiet neighbourhood and no noise unlike other hotels. Hopefully will be back again after three months.
Had stayed over here in the mid of December for the temple visit. Rooms and bathrooms decently sized. Found the bathrooms to be dusty when we visited. In fact the rooms were not even ready when we reached. Food needs to be ordered from outside. Strictly for a nights stay for those on pilgrimage
