Stayed here as my original booking, The Mekong crossing, was closed for Cambodian new year. It was practically empty, no food service available, but for $8, you can't really complain. Air con was an extra $7.
No idea why it has such good ratings online. I'd say it's rather expensive compared to other Hotels in Cambodia. There are loads of mosquitos downstairs, really horrible to sit there in the evening - which you had to, because the wifi doesn't work upstairs....More
