We had a lovely 10 day stay here. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful making our stay a very memorable one. My hubby loves fishing as a hobby and the owners brother mixed up a special concoction and showed my hubby a good spot for fishing. It was lovely & warn & quiet & relaxing. The pizzas that can be bought on site are amazing. More restaurants a short walk down the road along the coast. Cold beer good also.
On arrival at Blancala Apartments the reception was closed due to our late arrival but the restaurant staff were more than happy to help us. Outside reception is a notice board which shows the arrivals expected along with your room number, the lady from the restaurant showed us to our room. We were pleasantly surprised to the size of the apartment, plenty of room for the both us but the main thing is they are cleaned to a very high standard. You have good facilities but a an oven would be good, brought a pizza from the local shop to cook but didn’t realise until we got back we didn’t have an oven but apart from that you really can’t complain. In the lounge area there’s a TV on the wall which to be honest we didn’t use and also a nice comfy sofa. There is a ceiling fan which for us done the trick in keeping the room warm. The bedroom was a nice big size and so was the bed, again the bed was very comfy. There’s plenty of storage space to put your stuff. The bathroom was also a very good size. Everyday room service make your bed, sweep and mop the floors. Every other day your bathroom gets cleaned along with clean fresh towels. Our apartment over looked the sea, having a balcony we spent plenty of time in the mornings and evenings enjoying the view. I would strongly recommend a sea view apartment. There were plenty of sun loungers available and no one felt the need to reserve them, the sun seems to be on the pool area most of the day so plenty of opportunity for a quiet day next to the pool to top up the tan. Everyone we spoke to at the hotel both staff and other residents were very friendly. Reception staff were very friendly advising about bus timetables and things to do in the area. Would we stay again ? To right we would and highly recommend if your considering staying here. There’s a really good restaurant onsite also which do quality, tasty affordable food! My favourite place for a good burger and it only cost €5. Will be doing a separate review for the restaurant!…
What a lovely place to stay clean tidy staff are more than helpful restaurants is excellent food is done to your taste staff in there very lovely & friendly atmosphere is good & reception is very helpful tell you places to go & bus times
Just returned from a 7 night stay. This is a 2 key hotel however the service and the location of this hotel is 4 keys in my opinion. Owners opened up the kitchen to prepare us two pizza’s at after 11.30pm and allowed us to buy water, much appreciated. 2 bed apartment was spacious and had everything we’d needed the views were spectacular!!! Can’t fault this place if I had to be picky I would say more toilet paper in the rooms and a change of towels daily however every time I requested more I was given more without question. I will defiantly be back, keep up the excellent work you made my 40th birthday a memorable one 👍🏽
Stayed at Blancala for 1 week. The hosts and the reception team couldn’t have been more helpful, advising us of anything we needed, booking us taxis etc. Situated halfway between 2 beaches with shallow seas and warm water. Our apartment was plenty large enough for 2 adults and 2 children although only having one bedroom (sofa bed in the main apartment area). Only real negative is no air conditioning, with large ceiling fans instead. We knew this when booking, but we seriously underestimated the heat day and night in Menorca!! Two lovely pools (try out the second pool instead of the one next to the restaurant and reception, much nicer). Plenty of restaurants within 10 minutes walk where you can eat and drink and watch the spectacular sunsets. We hired a car from the reception desk (the receptionist helped us do this as well!). No on-site parking but plenty of parking on the street. We really liked Cala Blanca and would go back. Sad to leave (as I sit at the airport writing this!).…
