I’ll start with some negatives Just got back from a week at this hotel, I’d read lots of reviews before i left and many mention the queuing involved, but wow, nothing could have prepared me for it, you literally have to queue for everything, drinks and every meal, the staff seem to work just as hard as any other hotel, but such can’t seem to meet the demand on the sheer number of guests. Got to mention the pool towel policy too, I arrived on Monday and was told I could change my towels every other day, but I’m fact they only change them Monday, Wednesday or Saturday so if you miss the Wednesday change you’re stuck with the same towels for days, and since there wasn’t a facility to hang them outside in my room, it became a real pain. Location of the hotel is really remote too, nearest town is kardamena, and that’s €9 in a taxi to visit. The salt water main pool is freezing and a bit of a killer on the eyes. Positives about the hotel are the staff who are friendly and work really hard. The beach at the hotel is stunning, and the quality of the meals was fairly good for a 4 star AI in my opinion. I personally won’t visit the hotel again

We booked this as a family of 3 with a 2 year old - all inclusive. Firstly you can only get ‘unlimited’ ice cream at the beach bar which is a 5 minute walk from the pool, no ice creams at the pool bar which is massively inconvenient and when questioned I was advised we can buy them from the shop - yet we paid for all inclusive and have a child. The rooms - our feet were black within minutes of arriving in our room and could feel grit and dirt all over them. When we got into bed the sheets had dust come off them as if they had been made for a long period of time. Snack bar was extremely limited food wise, very little variety. The 2 restaurants that you can book into - this was not table service and was buffet still. Never had this before, this is meant to be a different experience to your usual buffet and it didn’t feel it at all, I’ve stayed at many all inclusive hotels and never experienced this. I personally would class this as a 3* based on other Atlanticas Ive visited and wouldn’t say it’s a child orientated hotel. The staff were friendly so that’s a bonus. It’s definitely isn’t an awful hotel but from our experience it’s not a 4*.

i will write this review in parts and you can skip to the parts interesting to you: Hotel - the hotel is clean and the staff work very work to do their jobs, sadly this hotel is needing modernisation as it is very basic, it seems all the toilets have working locks both in the main hotel or the one next to the bar as beach side. bar / drinks - the 3 bars in the hotel were all very busy no matter what time of the day it was but the staff are working as fast and as hard as they can, sadly the cocktails or basic and due to them only using syrup and not fresh fresh in them , they are very very sweet and do not taste like a nice cocktail, you will get bored of them. It is also a seem they do not do bottled water as i they to use this alot and having them in plastic cups doesnt help the environment any better as it was very windy , things would blow in to it all the top or blow over, plus the bins that had 3 holes, 1 for plastics, 1 for aluminium and 1 for paper, when you looked at these bins, there was only 1 bag in them, so they all went in to the same bag. rooms - the rooms are basic and the air con is very loud, they are an old system so when it goes to turn on or off it really rattles, good luck sleeping when you have this on, the tv didnt work, 1 lamp kept tripping the electrics so didnt use that and you have to pay for the safety deposit safe to use. (i did tell reception about these issues but no-one came to fix them) Food - this is really a sore point for myself as even though i contacted the hotel and asked what the vegetarian options were, i could have spoke to the Chef everyday for each meal and get things made for me but why should have have to do this, i like to just go up an have the options there, a lot of other hotels ive been to, have their own veggie corner. ive paid to go all-in to not have this stress. Ok so to the food options if you are veggie = Chips, pasta (rice or spaghetti) , tom sauce for your pasta, roast or boiled potato, stuffed peppers, Cheese and salad (be careful though as some salad have meat in it). This is the only options you have for your lunch and dinner every day! you will get very bored and very full from pure carbs every day. breakfast - hash browns, baked beans, all 3 egg options (i did not like any of theses, the quality was very poor) then salad, fruit, cheese and cereal) Waterpark - this was really good, and i enjoyed the slides, its a shame that even though you get free access in to the park, you still have to pay for food and drinks, i understand that anyone can pay to come in to this place, but why you having your all-in band on your hand, this should allow you to have food and drinks for free ** also you might not know this as this cost is hidden in the t+c in tui, You have to pay 21 euros a week to stay here too (Greece) due to the tax. The other thing that might irritate you, is the hotel spa staff are out everyday waiting outside the Restaurant and then going around the sun beds trying to get you to get a massage at a very expensive price , they need to stop this aggressive push on sales.
