Just returned from 10 days at this hotel, agree with some previous comments as some of reception staff could seem a bit off hand but nearly everyone else very friendly.Rooms were cleaned and our bedding and towels were changed 3 times over our stay.Overall probably do with some cosmetic updating but plenty of room for 4 in the rooms and walk...

After a terrible start to our holiday in Zante, we were moved to Exotica Hotel by Thomson it was a welcome relief from the hell we came from in Laganas. The staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble, they were lovely and supportive. The hotel was very quiet, clean and very child friendly. The pool area was good,...

Reading other reviews, they must have changed all of the staff within the last two weeks because when I stayed there for 10 nights with family and friends they certainly weren't helpful or friendly, in fact I would go as far to say down right rude! The rooms are basic, we knew this,( they are very similar in Turkey) but...

This hotel was much better than expected after reading reviews and for the price we paid it was actually a nice surprise. Hotel Basic rooms but plenty big enough for the two of us, comfortable and cleaned daily (sheets & towels changed twice a week). All room balconies overlook pool area which was nice. Breakfast was basic but still a...

The hotel room was standard, alright size for two of us, just what we needed and being on the ground floor meant we had easy access to the pool area and breakfast in the morning. Breakfast had a good choice of cereals, yoghurt, fruit, toast, beans and scrambled and boiled eggs, however be careful of the Greek yoghurt - some...

The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. The customer service and customer care from Thomson Holidays was non-existent sadly. I have noticed a huge culture change in the TH approach to their customers in the four years since I last booked a holiday with them. And it's not for the better. All the signs are there. Of a once trustworthy and...

Stayed at the Exotica for 11 nights in july! Had a good time in kalamaki where there are a great range of restaurants and little bars to enjoy a relaxing night without the addition of loud music and clubs, that of course is on the neighbouring town of laganas! The hotel its self exceeded my expectations, don't get me wrong...

The Exotica is a very good no frills hotel. The swimming pool is big with lots of sunbeds. Never had an issue with finding one. The staff are friendly. Rooms were cleaned daily except Sundays. The breakfast wasn't the best. Toast, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, beans, cereal, ham, sliced cheese, tinned fruit, jam and yogurt (same every day). Maybe I'm...

If you are looking for a special interest holiday in a beach resort, or enjoy an adventurous mountain trekking holiday, a cultural holiday, a family holiday, relaxing break or a romantic getaway, Exotica Hotel is your place to stay. This hotel is special because of its idyllic setting in the beach resort of Kalamaki, an endless golden sandy beach, which is famous for where the Carretta sea turtle visits during the summer months and nests her eggs. Another plus for staying at the Exotica is that the village town centre is just a few minutes walk away. The centre of attraction is our large swimming pool, surrounded by sunbeds on the one side, while the other side embraces the Poolside Snack-bar, open all day serving delicious food and drinks. ... more   less
