Stayed in the renovated post office building. We were made to feel like we were the most important people that had ever stayed there. The accommodations were greath up i, the town small and cute. A very pleasant stay. Highly recommended for those doing the Otago rail trail. Lindie

This is a comfortable and warm backpackers. We were fortunate to be the only guests for the night we were there and with kitchen and lounge with comfortable sofas and television and a log burner fire going we felt very at home. The owner came back several times to make sure the fire was well stocked and to show us...

The room we had was very clean and comfortable, the hosts are excellent. The lounge area and kitchen are both very well equipped, shared bathrooms clean and roomy. It is located in a quiet street and I would not hesitate to stay here again! Price very reasonable too!

This place is just magic, the owner/proprietors are just wonderful. It is always clean, friendly, never overly busy and very price friendly. The showers and kitchen are excellent. Bill always ensures our bike is safe, and both Bill and Suzy go out of their way to make us feel at home. Would strongly recommend.

Friendly and cute backpackers run by a nice couple. Bill was happy to tell us the best spots in town and knew that after a day's cycling the place we'd want first was the town pool! Good living room with lots of books and interesting décor. Very welcoming place and very clean.

Run by a very friendly couple, this backpackers has everything you need foryour stay. Ohr bikes were secured in the back shed - with the owner's postie bike (!), & being a quiet week we almost had the whole place to ourselves - until a last minute check-in. Could be noisy with lots of guests, but with only 3 of...

Bill was such a kind host - he had the fire on waiting for me after a night out at nearby Naseby. He also organised to have lost possession returned to me further down the rail trail. The accommodation was spotless - kitchen very clean. Highly recommended.

a clean and sympa hostel. We stayed one night, had dinner in a local hotel, and continued our journey after a good night's rest. Bill and his wife (Dutch descendent!) are very helpful in giving good advises. A nice golfclub with very reasonable greenfees!
