Huge rooms, in a great location, great view (if you do not consider the pollution clouds) but in my room the shower sink was clogged. I told the front desk and no one showed up, throughout my stay. The staff was ok, food was ok too

Hotel El Tapatio Km 6.5, Carretera Chapala, El Tapatío, 45588 San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Jal., Mexico Hotel Place details Just had a four night stay at this property. The good, wonderful old world hotel with spacious rooms, excellent restaurant and pool. The bad, A/C in rooms doesn't work, faucets leak, WiFi is non-existent, staff doesn't seem to care. As a prepaid visitor, compliments of the organizer of an event I participated in, I can't say much about a free stay. But I was disappointed as several, others in our group were. We were assigned a brand new renovated room, and they need to ch Kc them before assigning them. A/C was very inadequate even after reporting it. WiFi was...

The bad: We were received by a young lady who didn't make much eye contact and who seemed to hate her job. The bartenders by the pool don't really know how to make drinks anymore than anyone with alcohol bottles and some mixers. The service at the bar was slow and the choices limited. The outside of the buildings really...

I love the fact that its secluded and away from the city but they have a lot of work to do in order to meet expectations. During our stay our room had no phone. We were advised they did not have an extra phone and would have to walk to the front desk if we needed anything. The A/C was...

Very pretty views and seems to be a good location. 30-minute drive to downtown, 15-minute drive to the small town of Tlaquepaque, about 20 -30 minutes from the airport. Large property with a nice pool, spacious restaurant that had a good breakfast buffet as well. Pool had a swim up bar in it, but it was not set up for...

The location provides amazing views of the city. We arrived about 3 hours early for check-in and the staff was able to accommodate us right away. The room that we were originally given was one of several rooms which had not been renovated/updated. It was in pretty rough condition, sink would not drain, smelt mildewy, mattresses appeared 40 years old...

Stayed at Hotel El Tapatio and Resort while visiting Mexico for a 12 day road trip. This hotel was comfortable: amenities were outdated but functional (i.e. had hot water, but the plumbing was not perfect). The rooms felt oversized and poorly decorated (renovations would truly help this). My main complaint is that the wifi did not work for the evening...

This hotel had beautiful views of the city, giant rooms, excellent pool/grounds, competent staff, and was easy to find. That said, it is badly in need of renovations. The furnishings look cheap and poorly fit the large rooms clearly designed for a different era. The bed is uncomfortable and most of the space in the room is very poorly used-...
