When I booked the Auberge de Launay, I never expected it to be so charming. Especially because it was extremely cheap!, at least for European standards. The service was amazing, the food at their restaurant was also memorable, and the hotel room spacious, charming, beautiful! We loved it!

We have just returned from a very nice week touring the Loire during which we had the great fortune to stay at the “Hotel L’Auberge de Launay”for 2 nights. This hotel is a real gem, the manager and his staff are very friendly the food is to die for and the rooms (which have been recently updated) are excellent. We...

We booked our stay here through the Logis de France website after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. We chose a garden room which was spacious and very comfortable. The food was absolutely suberb ( the lamb was exceptional) and the hotel staff so friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again and highly recommend this...

We chose this based on previous reviews on TA. The rooms are simple but spacious and very clean. The location is very quiet. Gardens are nice. We had both dinner and breakfast. These were the best meals of our vacation. The food was presented beautifully and taste was excellent.

We spent two nights at the Auberge de Launay at the end of a weeklong trip to France. We had read the reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to take the half board, which was a very good decision. We splurged on the deluxe double garden view room, which was comfortable and stylishly decorated. Both of our dinners were terrific...

Just a few miles NE of Amboise across the river, this little inn has modest, yet adequate rooms, but the fantastic restaurant and superb staff made this hotel our favorite in our whirlwind of a week's stay in France. My college-aged daughter and I were weary from our driving through the countryside and small towns on our third day. Although...

We recently stayed at the Auberge after reading the excellent reviews . We also thought it was absolutely charming and advise anyone travelling in the area to make the effort and find this wonderful little gem. We received a very warm welcome from our host who spoke perfect english and were shown to a simple but spacious room overlooking the...

Auberge de Launay - If you must stay in town, at least treat yourself to a meal in the restaurant. My wife and I had a week here in May, at the start of a month in Europe, and it still sits in our memory as a highlight. The setting is very relaxing and peceful. The staff were wonderfully friendly and...

My husband and I spent three nights here in May while we toured the Loire Valley. When we were driving to the property we were a little bit concerned that it was out of the way but our concerns turned out to be unfounded. Since we were touring the Loire Valley, it was a perfect home-base. The Auberge itself is...

A superb place to stay. The restaurant, service and hoteliers are first class. We planned staying one night and decided it was so good to stay again on our return, and we are going back this month. You just have to eat there. Close to the caves if you want to visit the wine cellars too.
