Worth the cost of the room just for the amazing sunrise from the balcony. Clean comfortable room, lovely breakfast. Would certainly stay again. Petra the lady on reception speaks excellent English and is a one woman tourist advisor for Githio

Outstanding welcome in a quiet place... Not far from Gytheio downtown (but you'll need a car...), on a top of a hill, you'll find this hotel that seems to have been built in the 60s (I might be mistaking). You'll be amazed how warm the welcome is. The lady (I think she is the owner) is the kind of person...

Petra, the girl at the reception is one of the kidest person we meet in Greece. Our staying was so good also thanks to her. Rooms are nice, silent and very clean. We had not the breakfast so cannot judge but they left some complimentary coffee/tea in the room with a boiler. Nice idea. Very nice view from the terrace...

Didn't want to leave the room as the view was breathtaking. Just take the corner sea-view room if you can. Totally worth it. Super clean, with a kettle, coffee and tea available and amazing mattress. Mrs Petra who runs the hotel is a gem. She redefines hospitality. No wonder, as she's not Greek and Mani region has an issue with...

This is a really great find and must be the best value in the Peloponnese. The place is wonderful - mainly because of the manager Petra who makes you feel like you ate a family member returning home, Rooms are clean and comfortable with everything you need - air conditioning, tea-making facilities, TV, hairdryer and fridge. The shower is over...

I have been traveling around Greece for three weeks now and just want to say a big thank you to the Hotel Milton. The car parking is ample unlike some places I have had to park miles away and walk. The welcome was second to none, and any questions were answered with polite conversation. The owner had as much time...

We were on a drive-through and decided to find a place to sleep over in Mavrovouni, at a rather late hour. Nevertheless, the owner was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well maintained, there was free water and mosquito repellent (very thoughtful and not quite common!). The owner was very kind to prepare some greek coffee for us...

A very warm friendly hotel. Petra was very welcoming and made our stay a delight. The views from our balcony were beautiful. Great breakfasts too. Our room was large and had a fridge and a kettle. A very good hotel, especially as it's a two star.

We booked into in this hotel for 3 nights and stayed for 5 nights. Very clean throughout. The room is a little small but lovely balcony with great views of Gythio. The bed was very comfortable and by far the best we found in 4 different places in Greece. The owner ( I think her name was Petra ) was...
