Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The on-site manager threw a chair at me at the pool because i was too loud?? I asked what was wrong and he told me to “get the f*** out!” All because i was playing music from my phone? Luckily the chair hit the pool and sunk because he was really ready to hit me? It was so bizarre because what is a pool for? Lucky my children weren’t at the pool

Was great until the new management, now the hot tub is always cold, the rates are being put up and the amount of chlorine in the pools seems to hurt my skin every time i swim. Body corp went from being open all day to a couple of hours a day. Seems the new management just want to be lazy and save money, a shame as previously I was very happy.

Booked this before reading reviews - I was horrified on what was said. but the location suited my families sporting advent. Turned out to be pleasure LARGE, clean and did everything we wanted it to do. Will be back for next years cycling event. Loved the out door spar.

This was a return visit with four of us staying, first thing i noticed was 1 outdoor chair for all of us to share, i did find another 2 chairs on the 2nd level balcony.I went to the toilet after arriving & i couldnt even wash my hands afterwards as the water had been turned off. The cutlery all needed to be rewashed as it was put away with food still on it, the oven was still dirty & the pots & fry pans were also unclean as well. In the down stairs toilet i needed to wipe either blood or poo from the toilet wall that was right next to the toilet paper & then found pubic hair in the upstairs en-suit. I also could feel & see the floors were quiet dirty too. We were woken every morning at 7-7:30 by children that live in the resort & every single time we would drive out the were several children playing on the roads & we had to stop & wait for them to finish playing there ball games or to move out of the way on their bikes. There is a garage to drive into but our car park was around the corner near the children & we didnt feel comfortable leaving our hire car around there & out of our sight when there was kids playing ball right next to it!! Disappointing that there is no bbq facilities in the whole resort too & finally the code we were given didnt work on our last night there & were stuck in the entrance driveway at the gate with another car blocking us in for well over 15 mins, until i googled the resort number on my mobile as there is no contact or after hours number on the gate, they gave us a new code & that was that. It does state there are no pets allowed however the was dog poo out in our outdooor sitting area!!! We will not be returning to this resort again, very very disappointing. Oh the swimming pool is great.

Appalling treatment from the staff. They didn't honour our reservation on booking.com. Left us sitting in the driveway on a Saturday afternoon with no place to stay. Noone eden cane to discuss the situation with us. DO NOT BOOK THIS ACCOMMODATION..

We booked and payed for the hotel weeks in advance. After spending the day at wet n wild myself and my friends arrived at Sailfish Cove at 4.30pm to check in. We called the number on the door and were told they couldn't find our booking. We gave them our booking reference and still no. She said she'll call her manager and call us back. Over 20min later a call back from the girl only to say he can't find our booking. We ask do you have another room? We've paid how do we get our money back? So she calls the manager again and they took no responsibility. So after 2.5 hours of stuffing around we finally arrange another place to stay at 7pm on a Saturday night!!! Noone came and spoke with us in person. The manager didn't even speak with us at all. No apology. Leaving 6 girls stranded.

We hada 3 bedroom apartment backing onto the estuary/river. Stayed a week. There were table & chairs outside to enjoy the view & early morning rowers.. The accommodation itself was clean & tidy. Onsite Burger & Chips one night we had, was good. Our teen boys used the pool, thats always a "Treat" in itself especially when you have it all to yourselves! Most of the time we were out so ate out & just came back here to unwind, get cleaned up & sleep. There were permanent residents as well, however that didnt bother us as we didnt them. Parking outside your door/garage can be quite tight if you get an inconsiderate one next to you! Location was ok, we hada rental car so were able to drive to all our attractions without any hassles. The Robina Shopping Centre nearby was a cool spot for general shopping & eats.

Sailfish Cove is a gated community. I had the impression that most of the other people there were permanent residents, which made the experience a bit strange. The accommodation itself was clean enough, and the beds were comfortable. The sofa was badly stained and really should have been replaced. The kitchen was not well stocked, ie, there was one oven proof dish, and no baking tray. Our dishwasher was not useable. The vertical blinds had strips missing, and our bedroom was east facing. This meant privacy was compromised and as soon as the sun was up, we were too. We would have mentioned these issues to someone who worked there, but over Easter, there was no one on site for all four days! And there is NO restaurant on site. There is a room near reception that may have been a restaurant at one time but it was deserted. Also, there were no barbecues for guests. On the plus side, the pool was lovely. We would never go back, and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Well located in the Gold Coast but requires a car to get to shops, theme parks and beach. Apartment needs improvement! Kitchen lacking plates and utensils. Oven door broken, stove needed repair. Washing machine top loader lid hit into dryer. Infested with ants. Hot upstairs no a/c only old fans. A/C downstairs did not respond to remote and had to be switched off by mains. Curtain blind fell on my son's head on second night. Holes in walls and doors and place in desperate need of repainting. Vacuum cleaner was reported to management as having no bags and this was never fixed. Mop was filthy! It was poorly cleaned on arrival, opened packet of chips in cupboard and orange peels. Very dusty!

Totally Disappointed!! We stayed here 2 years ago & thought it was wonderful, this time round we brought extras with us and talked up how great it was. I have never been so embarrassed & disgusted, I couldn't believe how the units had deteriorated & how run down they were in such a short time, if there weren't so many of us we would have left!! I bought this to the attention of the manager even doing a walk through to point out how bad things were, dishwasher not working, I opened a door & it fell on off hinges & how dirty & run down, his answer was the units are privately owned & up to owners to maintain up keep of maintence. I ended up cleaning the unit as it was filthy, every time I used the kettle it tripped out power, no broom or vacuum, dishwasher didn't work ( they replaced this) I went to BIg W & bought a kettle, a dona for each of the beds as bedspreads were that worn & filthy, I borrowed broom from other family staying..out of the 4 units we rented only one was decent although it did need a good clean as well... I have photographic proof if you would like to up date your website with what your accomodation really looks like.. Very disappointed...
