Having arrived on Dec 23, our ten day holiday at the Sanctuary Lake Apartments started with an unhelpful and grumpy receptionist who looked like she would rather be anywhere else. Merry Christmas. After our lukewarm reception, we trudged up two flights of stairs to our third level apartment with our luggage and two tired children aged 4 and 5 (...

Our vacation in Gold Coast was made memorable not just because of the beautiful beaches but also because of our stay in Sanctuary Lake Apartments. The resort was situated in a less busy place (compared to Surfer's Paradise) which gave us peace and quiet, but it was also accessible to tourist spots. It was easy to go there by bus...

I am greatly impressed with the amenities and services this resort offered us in our short stay. Managers and staff are very much helpful and accommodating. Our room is really clean and relaxing. It seemed to embody a combination of simplicity and luxury. The monitor in the living room area is so big, that it will make you feel as...

Despite claims of 4 star ratings and such luxuries as wifi access, the resort fails to live up to much of the hype they so desperately advertise and the fact that it even managed one positive review is amazing. We were excited for our visit but these exciting feelings were quickly assuaged upon arrival to our apartment. While patiently waiting...

We have thoroughly enjoyed our 7 day stay at Sanctuary Lake Apartments, so close to the beach where you can walk for quite a few hours if you enjoy doing that. The apartment was lovely, nice balcony overlooking lush tropical gardens with a lovely pool and spa, also very well equipped and clean, its a "must visit ". The only...

This accommodation was perfect for us with two families being able to have our own space. We could walk to the supermarket, coffee and beach. Washing machine, full kitchen, balcony. It is great for families. We tried to respect the privacy of the other tenants, as this place is quite large and the stair wells and property is much like...

Our family group of 17 recently stayed at Sanctuary Lake Apartments in 4 apartments. We had a great time enjoying the pool & spa area and also the barbeque area. Being low rise and having all rooms facing the pool area meant it was easy to catch up with everyone in our group. Elderly members of the family could sit...

This will be fifth stay and won't be our last! Great times had by all, surfing with Sam, walks (or jogs) along the beach, swimming and great breakfasts at Elephant Rock only a 5 minute stroll away. Planes are not an issue as you are out most of the day anyway and there are usually no flights in after 9.30pm....

There was a small problem with the cleanliness of the shower in the room. A pile of broken soap was left from previous occupants which was not removed by cleaner. This was reported to manager and fixed to our satisfaction. Use of BBQ had to be booked (too big a hassle) so if it isn't cleaned after use a $50...
