Quiet and restful place for family vacations. You will need a car for convenient traveling. The bus stop is nearby but train station is a distance away. There a few restaurants nearby. Much of the action is at Surfers Paradise, quite a distance away

I wouldn't think so,you would need to fly north for several hours to do this.Have a look at Port Douglas
