Very quiet units Large unit Bathroom and toilet for every room Plenty of plates, glasses, crockery and utensils. comfortable lounge 2 underground car spots Good pool area. Shopping centre and restaurants 5 minute walk away
Cons. Cleanliness could be improved a lot Tired and worn furniture Several lights not working TV in main bedroom room not working Only free to air tv channels.
If you have a car i would definetly recommend going down to Sanctuary Cove as the restaurants there are superb along with the Gelato shop. Just keep going straight through the round abouts when you leave the resort and it will lead you straight there. Everything considered i definetly would not be happy if i had paid full rate for the unit. I had 3 bedroom unit booked elsewhere and rebooked here by prior resort and paid at discounted rate. With the fee i paid i and others with me felt it was a good stay and would stay again if the prices were better than advertised.

This was a very large unit, 2 bedrooms, a handy kitchenette, 2 showers, a huge lounge, underground secure parking and 3 toilets. What else would you need? However, the downside is that cleaning must be improved, the floors were sticky and carpet dirty. One of the beds appeared to have been used but not changed. The wifi was good and reception staff helpful.

This place has changed ownership since we visited last time, they asked for a $500 bond when my email said $200. In our 5 week stay they didn’t service our place at all. I had to wash the sheets myself and clean or pay a $50 fee each time to have the room serviced. The ensuite bathroom drain has a horrible smell. We complained and they tipped bleach down the drain and the smell returned the next day. We have since kept it covered with a folded bath mat. It helped a little.

Stayed in a large 2 bedroom apartment in absolutely a terrible state. The lounge suite was absolutely filthy. We were too afraid to sit on it in case we caught any disease. The fan in the 2nd bathroom did not work and the sink in that bathroom was clogged. They didnt provide any cleaning materials in the kitchen like detergent, sponge, cloth or tea towel. Disgusting! Would not recommend this accomodation.

Definately not a 4 or 5 star. rooms need a bit of renovationIs. I read reviews about this but did not take it seriously as im not that fussy with accommodation The first room we were in air-conditioning was so bad and didnt cool the room at all. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and my daughter had to sleep on the couch under the A/C that was like a fan. The curtains were broken so could not be closed to keep the heat out. The toilet seat in one of the rooms was broken my partner actually slipped on it. The shower head was also broken. After 2 nights we ended up asking to be moved to another room which was done straight away for us. The next room had better A/C. The doors were very hard to open to go out on the balcony. The washing machine had a broken lid (came right off) but still was able to work. The washing machines in both rooms need a clean because my clothes came out dirtier. To see that they put someone else in to our previous room straight away with out fixing the problems was just shocking. I understand with accommodation not every room is going to be perfect and there may be small things that need work but to be in 2 different rooms and have alot of broken/issues in the room tells alot about the place.
The pool area is beautiful! The sand gives it the tropical beach feel. The pool area is what saves this place.

We stayed overnight in Room 2303 and it would have to be the dirtiest, stained and delapitated apartment we have ever stayed in and paid premium money for, with so many expectations from the guests. Stained carpets, dirty walls, dirty glasses, TV and air conditioners that don't work, mould, curtains broke and peeling. $285 for an overnight stay plus a $200 deduction from our CC incised of damages caused by guests. The only positive take away is that the receptionist on arrival was pleasant.

Stayed here November 2020 with my partner and two little ones. The pool area was great, well maintained, clean and plenty of lounge chairs to choose from.
However, our room wasn't great. There was mold on the ceiling and walls in the bathroom (no exhaust fans). The shower head was broken and the door didn't seal properly so water leaked out the shower door. The A/C had a strange smell when we turned it on (think it needed a clean. We were on the ground floor and one of the windows didn't close properly (so our valuables weren't secure when we left the room). Saw minimal staff on, including cleaners which suggests they were on skeleton staff still from COVID. The courtyard was weed-infested and when the automatic irrigation turned on it was like a fountain in the courtyard because there was a hole in the pipe. We asked reception if it was possible to change rooms but the receptionist declined our request and said they were fully booked all weekend. Based on the few people we saw in the resort and around the pool, this didn't appear to be the case.
I would recommend finding alternative accommodation.

I had booked accomodation at this resort back in May to attend my nephews wedding in October 2020, which this booking required a deposit. Unfortunately due to covid and queenland government the borders were still closed and couldn't attend. with numerous email's and attempted phone calls which wasn't connecting and busy for 3 weeks, I received no response. Finally got through the lady who processes cancellations and refunds was very unprofessional and rude towards me. I'm on hold as I'm typing this waiting fir a receipt number for my refund (20mins). will not be recommending this resort to anyone. Understanding covid is a difficult time it has to work both ways customers and business side.

We had 3 nights here recently. It was comfortable but couldn’t be construed as luxurious. Toilet leaked, shower leaked, lightbulbs were blown, carpet was heavily stained, dishwasher barely worked, curtains worn out. It is well located to the northern end of the Gold Coast and the pool area and BBQ was well looked after. Good luck finding anyone outside of 9 to 5 week days. Such a shame that, with just a small amount of extra care, this could be a great property.

Rooms are great size however old and don’t seem to be fully cleaned prior to our stay. People had been smoking previously. The unit was advertised to be fully a/c it wasn’t, didn’t even have a fan. Which made for some uncomfortable sleeping. Complaint was made and ignored.
