I stayed for 2 nights in a studio room with my granddaughter and we loved it!

The studio had 2 king single beds which was perfect for us. The studio could probably best be described as a hotel room with kitchenette really. The room was really nicely decorated and clean and neat.

The TV was set up to allow streaming from your own device which was handy if you have that capacity from your device.

The tiny kitchenette had a microwave, bar fridge and sink, with basic cutlery, glasses, cups and some tea and coffee sachets provided.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room had air conditioning. We had a lovely balcony which looked out to the ocean, with two big outdoor chairs to relax on with a small table. In the room there was also an ironing board and Iron and a clothes airer which was very useful.

There was undercover secure parking in the basement which was good as the road out the front is very busy with little parking.

The pool has a shade sail over part of it which was great and meant we could stay out longer. There was also a spa. There were sun lounges scattered around and the pool is right next to the walking path by the beach. We spent a lot of time there.

We walked to a wonderful local café on the first morning and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. I will also review that venue. The next morning we headed in the other direction, towards Tallebudgera Creek, to look for breakfast. On our way, the skies opened and we got drenched but we managed to find a hole in the wall coffee place with delicious muffins there. We had planned to go back later that day to Tallebudgera Creek but apparently it was totally full of cars and people. Even early morning was pretty busy which is understandable given the calm waters and beaches for those with small children.

The only thing that was a slight issue was the limited time of onsite management for checking in/out. I’m sure there are work arounds though. The staff, when we did see them, were efficient and very nice.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment which was in desperate need of maintenance, dirty walls with cracks. Dining chair cushions stained/ripped. The runner on dining table very dirty & needed a wash. A/C only in lounge, no ceiling fans, only portable fans for bedrooms full of dust. The spa didn’t work so told reception who said he would send someone but no one turned up. On the positive side, fantastic views of the beach which was so close. Lovely clean pool & nice grounds.

We had a 3 nights stay there & although the room needed a bit of a face lift it was an excellent location with a really great view. Location to the beach was absolutely fabulous. Although we didn't swim the patrolled area was very close. Walking along the quiet beach was absolutely fantastic. Definitely recommend it. Will certainly be going back there.

We stayed in unit no.505.
This unit is advertised as 2 bedroom Delux. Oh boy, the items in this unit broken or not cleaned for month, are numerous. I took photos. Furniture are a mixture of chairs at the dining table, there a no pillows or cushions on the couches which makes sitting on them no very comfortable. In all, for the cost charged for this unit per week, it is well overdue to be upgraded. This would include some of the kitchen equipment like toaster, sandwiche maker (dirty), frying pan. Also no dishwasher in unit.
The only positives are, the bed was comfy enough and the BBQ area on the roof is nice, weather permitting.
The service desk is only attended 6 hours a day during the week and one and a half on weekends. On one day during our stay the desk was not attended at all. There is a answering service but all the can do pass on messages for the next day.

We were very disappointed with our stay here in July 2023. Originally I found the property online and booked an apartment because the property looked very attractive and it was close to the beach.

In reality, we found the apartment to be well-short of how it was described. The “Regency,” if you could call it that, clearly was atrociously maintained as the room we stayed in had a decrepit towel rail and there were cracks in the wall.

It was also well overdue for a paint job. After my shower, I reached for my towel and the towel rail fell off the wall. The management made no attempt to reinstate the towel rail during our stay.

Additionally my son had to sleep on the grimy floor as the fold-out bed that was provided was also broken and we couldn’t repair it. This was unacceptable.

It is worth mentioning that the employees were not to blame as Eric, the receptionist, was extremely helpful in getting a replacement fold-out bed.

It is undoubtedly the owner who is to blame for their unwillingness to commit to renovation. They clearly just take advantage of tourists who are unaware of the circumstances regarding their abysmal accomodation so they can milk them of their money. To this extent, we were not refunded for the fact that my son had to sleep on the floor. Do not stay here, 0/10

False advertising this place is not luxury accommodation as advertised, it does not provide the basic level of comfort, firstly the air conditioning was not working.
We were given instead a pedestal fan to use, and had to leave the front door open to create a breeze . The lack of a non functional air conditioner created an environment that was very unpleasant, also stains on curtains, damage doors, toilet was not attached to floor move every time we used it. Outdated bathroom
This place is in desperate need of an upgrade, Very
disappointing definitely our experience was far from satisfaction not worth the price. You can find better accommodation in this area for less money.

Peak holiday season and no management to be seen when we tried to check in. No fans , 1 aircon a very dirty and tired looking apartment. No phone, modem just hanging on the wall by 1 screw. The water is scalding hot and dangerous with young children. Shower head fell off the wall because of rusty screw which held it in place. No vacuum Cleaner or mop bucket or clothes airer. We had a seperate top floor balcony to ourselves. Crappy minimum furniture , dirty and no lighting. These apartments need a makeover especially for the money they charge.
We paid 500.00 a night On the only upside, the location for the beach is amazing
Management is obviously a big problem

We arrived at 2pm to check in to find out that reception was closed, at check in time!! So you get there and find a sign with a number to call to get a code to open a safe and get your room keys. The room was not the one I booked, they gave me a different, much worse room. There's nobody around to talk to so I called the same number and complain and they simply said there was nothing they could do as they were fully booked. The room was disgusting, with carpets so old and so dirty and stained, like I've never seen before. I've travelled the world, I've been to very poor countries, stayed at hostels, and I've never seen anything like this, I fail to understand how can someone have the guts to rent out a property that old and dirty for 200 dollars a night!!!! We had to buy sheets to lay over the carpet so my baby could crawl a little bit. The blankets looked like they haven't been washed in a while, there was hair in one of them. Very old dirty curtains. The door frames had water damage / mold, the smoke detector is so old that it's vey impossible to believe it would work. There's no access to the beach without going past stairs, so it gets hard if you have a pram/beach trolley. The only good thing about this place is the location, with ocean views.

It was my 3rd stay at Regency On The Beach and I'll be heading back again. The location is unbeatable, right on a patrolled beach (Tallebudgera) The views are amazing. I would sit relaxing on my balcony every morning watching 'the beach life.' My first room, 2 bedroom deluxe, was fabulous, very clean with all amenities I'd need and more.
Two car spots in the basement carpark. Along with being on a bus line to the airport and other destinations on The Gold Coast. Short walk to restaurants and over the bridge to Burleigh Heads.
Great hotel to relax and enjoy your holiday, do water sports like paddleboarding on Tullebudgera creek, surf lessons right in front of your hotel or enjoy the hotel pool and spa.
I extended my stay (solo) and moved to a one bedroom next door.
The staff are lovely and accomadated me with all my extra add-on nights.
The staff know their hotel well, and made sure I was happy.
That's priceless!
I'm thrilled to recommend this property to my close friends, work colleagues, and anyone looking for an honest beachy Gold Coast holiday. Perfect for couples and families. The only issue I had, I didn't want to leave.

Really disappointing for the price. As a few other reviews have mentioned, the only upside to this hotel is the view but you are also directly opposite other people's houses in some rooms. The interior is in desperate need of not only a really good clean, but also an upgrade. The outside chairs were broken, the door and window fixtures had almost disintegrated and the room did not feel clean at all. I would not recommend staying here.

I stayed in the ground floor 3 bdrm apartment with 2 kids. It was quite small. You can see the beach and there is easy access to the pool (and you don't have to worry about the kids getting on a high balcony), but I think it would be very cramped with 4 kids.

I had the 3 bedroom ground floor apartment, which was quite pokey and small and tucked in the corner, giving it a 'dungeon' like feel. I'm sure the upper level apartments would be nicer, but your best bet would be to contact the manager(s) and ask them which rooms have the best views, etc.

Regency on the beach has ramp access from the front entrance and the underground car park. All floors are accessible by elevator. Plenty of ground floor apartments available too. Hope that helps! :)

Hi It would take at least 30 - 40 min depending on traffic. The traffic in the afternoon coming back can be pretty bad.
