Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of the best views and perfectly placed in Palm Beach. A very short walk to the beach, and you can see the flags from the apartment! 180 degrees views and so close to all the restaurants, cafes and shops! Once you park your car, there is no need to use it again! We stayed in Unit 27 which is the top floor, directly at the front facing the beach. You can hear the waves crashing and it is a modern, contemporary apartment. I think it’s the best one in the complex and we will be requesting to stay here again! The Manager, Julie, is amazing. Thanks again, Beach Palms! Can’t wait to be back!

Great room. Great location. Walk less than 60m to the local surf club from the rear of the property. Could have had better access for my elderly mum as the step down to the roadway was quite high. Good sized living area and huge balcony. Bathrooms were ok. All clean etc. but the exhaust fan was very noisy and didn’t work well so the bathroom became very steamy, which is a pet hate of mine. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Lots of variety for takeaway food also. We had a great stay.

We stayed in Unit 16 which was very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Located in an ideal position to beach and easy access to M1 freeway. Unit had everything you would need including underground secure parking. Host Darryl was extremely helpful and very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Great location with amazing views and access to the beach. The apartment is setup with anything you could need on a family getaway - kitchen facilities were great. No complaints with the accomodation itself. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

My friends family of six came to town last minute and needed sizable accommodation for their stay. Management were extremely helpful and accommodating and they decided to extend their stay with no fuss at all. Thought I'd write a thank you review on their behalf. Cheers guys!

My husband, myself and our two teenaged children just spent 6 nights at Beach Palms in apartment 18. We had such a wonderful time. So peaceful. This property has everything you need, although a little dated, everything is in perfect working order. If it's not, the manager Julie will get it sorted straight away. Julie and her husband have taken over management in the last few months and are doing a wonderful job. Having spoken with them we are looking to see what's coming up. The location is spot on, not too close to the noisy parts of the Gold Coast, but close enough to be part of it all. From our apartment we had a panoramic view from Surfers Paradise right down the coast to Coolangatta. The night time view is superb. We will most definitely be staying again in the future and will be telling all our friends and family. Thank you Julie for a wonderful holiday.

I recently stayed at Beach Palms, centrally located in Palm Beach Qld! just one block back from Beach! Excellent accommodation, excellent location. The staff were very helpful at check in. the lovely lady on Reception is apparently the new Manager, and her and her husband were fantastic - nothing a problem and they had great local knowledge of restaurants and must see attractions. I will definitely return to Beach Palms - thank you for the wonderful holiday!

I have read the bad reviews for this hotel and I would hate to have had the experiences that others have unfortunately had here. I took my family of 6 to this hotel for 12 nights. We stayed on the top floor and the view is amazing, the beach so close, the breeze off the water was so nice at night coming through the open doors after the hot days. The sound and smell of the ocean when you wake up and go out on the balcony every morning is stunning. The lights at night along the coast also beautiful. We had a two bedroom apartment, two bathroom, kitchen and lounge with large tv and Foxtel. There is plenty of space in the apartments, so no need to feel cramped even with the 6 of us. We were provided with a fold out bed and fitted easily into the room to sleep all the children. There are plenty of restaurants and take away shops around, but we ate in every night, with a local supermarket close and a large fridge to keep plenty of food. (Gets a bit expensive eating out for 6). There is a service station (7 eleven) across the road and we did enjoy the $1 large slurpee at the end of the day, I must say! The best thing I can see from the previous reviews is that the hotel is now under new management. We were greeted by Darrel when first arriving and he is lovely and friendly, and if there were any problems at all he wanted you to call him on his mobile, and he would help right away. We did not have to pay for the room up front as soon as we walked in the door, I even booked over the phone earlier in the week, and I had the money waiting in the bank for him to take out, because I like to get it out of the way straight away and not worry about it, but it was done during our first week stay. Parking is a secure under ground parking with electronic key entry and exit, and we tied up our bicycles in there too. The pool and spa was beautiful, very clean, and lit up at night as we used it a lot with the kids until it was dark and time for them to go to bed. The pool also uses the electronic key to get in and out, this I loved so I didn't have to worry my younger children would get in there without me. The barbeque right next to the pool was clean and had seating and tables, lighting and rubbish bins, we also used this with no problems, there were not utensils to use but we brought some down from the apartment no big deal. The apartments were very clean and everything well maintained in and around the the building. The them parks, movie world, SeaWorld and wet'n'wild are only 20-30mins drive away, which isn't far as the hotel being on the beach is beautiful to look at. The only negative things I would say is the kitchen and bathroom were a bit dated which did not matter to the function in any way, and the other is there was no wifi, which I guess I didn't need so much on holiday, but my daughter was studying for exams and doing homework and needed the internet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and I am glad that there are no signs of that previous bad management anymore. Darrel is always around the place cleaning or chatting and always taking the time to say g'day, and have a chat, and making sure everything with your stay is going fine. Wonderful place to stay Darrel and we will see you next year! Malonie
