The park's extensive amenities and its prime location near beaches and attractions are popular among guests. However, opinions on value are divided, with some praising the affordable rates while others critique the pricing consistency and facility upkeep. The service receives mixed feedback; the staff's friendliness stands out, though some guests report disappointing encounters with maintenance and management. Having grown up in Palm Beach and not lived in the area for 20 years, I was looking forward to going back. We camped with 2 other families (over 3 sites) on powered grass sites. From our initial enquiry to check in, everything was seamless. Our location was perfect, out of the main thoroughfare and easy access to pools and amenities. We stayed during school holidays so the park is very busy during this time, but we found everyone to be respectful and the amenities block clean even during peak times. They had a variety of food vans during the week which made a great dinner option instead of cooking. We easily walked to the water with kayaks & SUPs with plenty of space along the creek beach and the water crystals clear. It’s an easy stroll along the boardwalk to the main surf beach, Burleigh Hill walk and Tallebudgera Surf Club. As a teenager growing up here, I took how beautiful this area is for granted. Thanks Tallebudgera we had a great time and I would definitely return and stay again.

I wanted to give this great family park a 4.8 - the location is superb with something for everyone. We were there with my two children and families -5 grandchildren under 13 so the swimming, fishing and walking tracks were perfect. The kiosk catered well and there was no limit to great restaurants and coffee shops and supermarkets close by. We were not disappointed. The reason I didn't give a 5 was the amenities - the .2 short of 5/5 was because it is a very large area I found the only issue was the lack of places to wash dishes. 2 sinks at either end of the park so it was a long way to carry these items and the showers could have been cleaned more than once per day great pressure and always hot water. Laundry facilities were great. We have holidayed in Northern NSW for the past 38 years however we will go back to this gem of a place. PS The 3 swimming pools (kids/toddlers/adults only were all a 10/10. excellent cabins on site as well

This was our first visit to the park and we had high expectations due to what we had heard. The location is beautiful right on the lake although it's a fair hike to access the beach. No shops within walking distance, you would need your car to access shops ect.
On arrival our site was over grown with grass as were many others. The park has a lovely pool with slides for the kids but during our stay it was closed Christmas Day without any notification. This was very disappointing considering you pay such good money to use the facilities.
The bins were constantly overflowing with rubbish and they smelt really bad. I felt for the people who were camped opposite them. Food vans were an option during the week which was a lovely touch. There is a surf club up the road for dinner if need be. I wouldn't rush back especially for the price you pay although the lake really is great for the kids.

Hi Kelly, Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to leave us a review. With the large amounts of rain followed by beautiful sunny days we have been experiencing, the grass has been having a field day (pun intended) and growing like crazy. Our grounds staff are mowing and whipper-snippering daily keeping it in check, so I apologise if the grass on your site was longer than expected. We would love the opportunity to discuss some points your review with you further, so if possible please feel free to call Jeff or Bart on (07) 5667 2700. We hope to see you stay with us again in the future. Kind regards, Bart - TCTP

My family have been holidaying here in the Villas for the last 6+ years. We love the park and and the location however the recent price increases that came with a change in management have left this annual holiday now no longer value for money.

The Villas are dated and without the price increase would be fine but with the new prices you would need to see significant improvement in the villa amenities to be worth the new prices.

Again we love the location but it is no longer justifiable with the new prices.

Hi Tim, Thanks so much for taking the time to leave feedback from your recent stay with us. I am sorry you no longer find the park value for money. We do have many plans and many ideas we would love to implement throughout the park and have already begun many of these improvements, including updating some of the villas prior to the holidays, repainting facilities and purchasing new furnishings for our villas. These are just a few of the improvements we have already started and hope to have many more completed in the future. I am sure you will be able to see the value when you next visit our park. We look forward to seeing you again and showing you how amazing our park really can be!

We stayed one night recently and opted for a creek-side location.

Although the view was fantastic, looking right out over the creek, we weren't aware it was a shared, public access walkway, and there is minimal separation between the public and yourselves.

That's generally not an issue but it does make you extra vigilant and as there was no shortage of boguns knocking around we were a bit uneasy leaving our stuff unattended too long.

This openness and lack of a fully enclosed park definitely impacted on our stay. I was tailgated one night by someone who clearly looked a bit desperate for use of the facilities, and later that night we were disturbed by someone hanging around in the shadows on a bike. It turns out they were night-fishing in the creek, but it took a while to realise what was happening.

Again... the issue here is that the public can easily access the park literally one or two metres from your van.

We also found the facilities a little dated.
Clean but dated.

Overall, I would not stay here again, and it felt like the park is relying on its location and access to the creek and the beach to maintain its reputation. It definitely needs to think about camp security and for those of us who paid $117 for a night, im sure the camp can afford it.

There is no doubt the location is fantastic, and the kids had a great time, but access to the creek and the beach is nothing to do with the park. It's there for everyone and its free.

Hi 572leighc, Firstly, thank you for staying at Tallebudgera Creek recently. Our mission is to ensure every guest has as relaxing and enjoyable stay. Their safety is our number one priority and there are security patrols during the evening and onsite managers who are only a phone call away (once reception is closed), should guests require assistance. Like everywhere, it is important that guests to secure all their personal items. Whilst our sensational location on Tallebudgera Creek is a major draw card, it’s all the other services and facilities on offer at the park, which are major draw cards; our friendly management and staff, two Swimming Pools (1 x adults pool), onsite Health n Wellness Centre, In park activities for the entire family, Movie and Trivia nights, onsite Kiosk and Food Trucks (opened daily), and off site partnerships with Club Talle Surf Club (free membership), Currumbin Sanctuary (special offers) etc, that add further value to the overall guest experience. We do hope you will reconsider staying with us again. If you would like to discuss your experience further, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly. Safe Travels! Regards, Jeff Guest Experience Manager.

We had a family get together for Xmas week. Rented 5 cabins $16,000 all up so very expensive. 3 waterfront cabins were basic but the kids had a ball in the creek and sand areas in front cabins. I was disappointed that paying $3000 doesn’t get you a fully air conditioning in all rooms. The second room had no fan or air conditioning. There was no washing machine/dryer or dishwasher & NO OVEN to bake for Xmas only a bench plate. As someone else said no bedside lights. So be warned that not all cabins are air conditioned as advertised. The deluxe cabins $3500/week did have a full kitchen but still not fully aircon.
Very disappointed that Management closed the kids pools on Xmas day. Reason being they wanted some family time. Well so did we and we paid someone to caretake our business. You can’t demand high prices and then don’t provide the service. (Well I guess they can they did it!)
There were kids crying everywhere who wanted to go to the pool.
Apart from all this we still enjoyed our week. We won’t be back though as we’ll look for better value & a better run park.

Hello H1569IGpaulineb, Thank you for staying at our tourist park for your recent family getaway over Christmas, and for writing this review. We appreciate all guest feedback, and where possible this feedback is used to improve the services and facilities on offer at the park, which can only enhance the overall guest experience. We do acknowledge the need for bedside lighting and whilst all cabins are airconditioned, a fan or similar as you have pointed out, is needed for the 2nd & 3rd bedrooms in some cabins. There are a few cabins with washer and dryer, plus all cabin guests do have access to the laundry blocks. We are currently in the process of upgrading the cabins, and prior to Christmas we started to replace the lounges, and window fittings. Apologies the main pool was closed on the afternoon on Christmas Day, we appreciate that didn’t please some guests, however the second 2nd pool did remain open for the whole day. The reason was explained to many guests the next day, and it wasn’t due to management family time! However for the rest of the holiday period all 3 pools have remained open, and as you pointed out having the beach and creek at our doorstep is another way to enjoy all the park and its location has to offer. It’s nice to hear you still managed to have an enjoyable week! As we continue to improve the park and its facilities we do hope you will reconsider staying with us again in the near future. If you would like to discuss your stay further please contact me on 5667 2700 Wishing you and your family a safe and successful 2021 Regards JEFF Guest Experience Manager

Check in was horrible, tried to get a site closer to our friends, there were plenty spare for our short stay and they were still free when we checked out.
The staff were rude and ignored my request to review my site. I knew that there was a spare site next to my friends and it was vacant until the end of my stay. I was then told that I would have to wear a horrible yellow wrist band for the entire of my stay, yes the entire of my stay! When I told them that wouldn’t be happening they then said must be worn in the pool. What is the rule? After this when I tried to go thru the gate with my car I was accosted/stopped at the gate by the manger herself telling me that I owed $7 to have my small boat that easily fits on my site for the night. I understand paying for a second gate number for a second car but a boat needs a car to take it out and what’s next are they going to charge you per SUP or per kayak? I politely told her that I was not enjoying my experience with the new management. The park was as pretty as it always is for our stay but I did not enjoy having the staff consistently looking into my site recording vehicles and number of people, all of it was just over the top. As it was peak season with
Many repeat long term guests there was a common theme of similar experiences. I am very worried as I have five weeks booked at Easter and the feel was
Similar to what I would expect if I was ever placed in a prison camp. This new management has changed the total feel of what was once a fantastic park. The place itself is still special but my experience has left me in doubt over my next stay.

Hi there, Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your feedback and let us know that you felt you had a negative experience during your recent stay with us. You will notice on your park rules that all sites are allowed 1 vehicle only and that all other vehicles, including boats do incur a fee. Our staff checked all bookings to ensure that correct fees for amount of guests and vehicles were paid for each booking as per the park rules. Unfortunately we didn't have a spare site during your stay. Although sites may have looked empty they were in fact all booked by other guests who had not yet arrived and we were unable to place you in these sites. This can sometimes happen with our 7 night minimum. I can assure you our staff were being honest and did not intend to make you feel as though they were being rude. There were no other sites available. Wrist bands have become a necessity for all guests, they help us ensure we can monitor who is a guest in the park and who is not. Especially for in the pool. You will find that many parks insist you wear wrist bands at all times these days. This is for your own safety. Once again I am sorry you felt as though you were in a prison camp, park rules, set by the City, are in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests and staff in the park and we intend on helping our guests follow these rules as best we can. We hope that you will understand and look forward to seeing you again for Easter.

You would be able to fit a large vehicle in the parking for that cabin but not a trailer. You can contact the office for an extra parking space but this is chargeable per day. Very limited parking through the whole park.
