Stayed in Apartment 15A which is on level 15 there are 5 units per floor with A & E being on opposite ends of each foor and B ,C D units in between , A apartments get the best views and are a lot bigger with great views south over currumbin creek ,the Alley great for surfing and straight out to sea .
Pros ... Reception staff were helpfull and bubbly
Great views of the ocean
Certain times of the year council life-guards set up the flags for swimming
in front or near the complex

Cons...Unfortunately apartment 15A lets you down when you first walk in it's so tired and stuck in the 1980s when it was built the carpet
is a disgrace and should of being dumped years ago it's bare-thin and
stained no way would you want to walk barefoot .over it
The walls haven't being painted in decades are dirty and discoloured
The double bed was a shocker when you sit down on the mattress you
hit the base under the mattress , it made for an uncomfortable night
The crockery glasses etc were straight from vinnes the pots needed
throwing out .
This unit needs a serious make-over it's not managements fault but the
owners who spend nothing on their units and expect holiday makers to put
with this crap.
Smoking is permitted on the balconys of each unit , with heavy smokers
below us smoking all day and night it made keeping the doors closed the
only option

Spent two nights here with 2 adults and 3 teenagers in an ocean view apartment.
The rollaway bed was bent and couldn't comfortably be used, The weekend reception hours are limited so a replacement couldn't be requested until the next day. The apartment is tired and the stove top only had one working hob. The pool hours are limited at the weekend - Saturday 9am to 2pm and Sunday 9am to 12noon. The apartment ocean view amazing and the staff on reception helpful and polite.

These apartments are in a great location, walk to everything, shops, cafe, creek and right on the beach. The apartment we had was good, they do need updating, no doubt, but it was clean and well presented (except maybe the cushions on the lounges).
The downside was the supposed starter pack was not present. There was one dishwasher tablet, no detergent for the washing machine, toilet paper was a half roll in each toilet. The was not even salt and pepper - containers were there, but empty. Just make sure you stock up on these and your shop, or bring from home.

Booked to stay through booking.com to pay at venue, card was processed ahead of arrival which is a non issue however we were stranded in the floods in northern NSW.

The priority was getting to safety, we contacted the hotel to let them know and were told they would call us before they closed. We called them to tell them we wouldn’t get across the border.

We ended up being stranded surrounded by floods, so cancelled our booking. The hotel made some excuse about no longer refunding due to losing so much money during covid!

While we are fortunate many don’t have homes to go home to we do, the offer of reallocating the dates is insufficient considering the payment terms were pay on arrival.

The hidden cost of businesses treating consumers appalling during what are natural disasters is absurd. Right up and down the coast people are looking for places to stay and booking out accommodation places.

This hotel literally took out the payment that would be much better allocated right now after this week. I’m disgusted at the treatment and more so the evoking of their so called payment terms and conditions which have since been changed on booking.com!

Firstly for the good: The grounds and site amenities of Princess Palms are immaculately kept and very relaxing, staff were friendly and the position cannot be beaten.

The BAD: We stayed in apartment 7d which was dirty filthy as listed below,
1/ balcony doors and fly screens would not close properly
2/ carpet is extremely dirty
3/ kitchen bench seats dirty
4/ internet modem not working
5/ internet modem and phone covered in a layer of dust indicating they hadn’t been wiped in a long time
6/ balcony mirrors have seen better days and are severely weather damaged
7/ fridge main door would not close properly
8/ main bedroom pillows disintegrating
9/ balcony furniture cushions internals exposed and zipper broken
10/ kitchen bar lights, only 1 out of 3 working
11/ the dust on the fridge top is something to see!
12/ we had to fix the broken coffee Bodum to use it with the plunger lid internals not secured to the shaft
13/ lounge room cupboards do not close properly

To top it off after all the above we decided to make some toasted sandwiches with the supplied sandwich maker only to find someone else’s flat bread still inside from how long ago we don’t know. This unit is a 1 star rating to be generous so it’s shameful the owners still rent it out and the body corporate of Princess Palms allowing it to happen.
Only positive is the unit has a very comfortable lounge which was a plus.

My husband and 3 year old and I stayed here in the April school holidays. We paid around $350 a night, which was probably due to school holidays however we thought for that amount we would get something pretty decent. As the appartments are privately owned, it’s luck of the draw if you get a good one or bad, clean or dirty, well maintained or run down. We lucked out and ours was horrendous. So dirty, run down, unsafe. My daughter was picking rubbish like dried noodles and foil out of the carpet and putting it in her mouth. I complained and was moved to a more modern apartment however it was still dirty and the mould in the Aircon’s was so bad that we couldn’t use them. I wouldn’t risk staying here! We regretted it big time.

I stayed in apt 11D with my 12 year old daughter for one night for a local netball carnival. I thought it was strange on arrival to find the balcony doors in the main bedroom wide open. I discovered later that they didn’t actually close properly. During the night it was windy and the whistling/ howling of the wind coming through the balcony doors was so loud I couldn’t sleep. Behind the single beds was a ledge which was thick with dust. In addition bed bases were ripped. Fridge was also old and rusty. On a positive note, the views were amazing. Very disappointed with quality of accommodation.

Great location, and the resort itself has been recently renovated. The room we were given was amazing, with views around the whole of Palm Beach and onto the Gold Coast.

Great facilities, prime location near the beach and walking distance to Coles and other great little places to grab necessities!

I'd highly recommend this place to families as it is just a really safe spot, very clean and tidy and well presented!

We had a little trip away with the family. Was a lovely stay. There were renovations happening but it didn’t disrupt our holiday at all so that was lucky. Only issues for us was the heat. The apartment we stayed in had no air con and it was very hard to sleep at night and be uncomfortable during the day. Thank goodness for the closeness to the beach. So if you are looking at staying here check they have aircon in the room you’re in!

The Princess Palm has a
View like no other. Straight out to the pPacific Ocean and No road to challenge your trip to the beach.
Walking distance to a pleasant and clean park as well as the shopping centre and lots of restaurants.
All amenities like sauna, pool and spa as well as a tennis court. An area for children to play as well as a mini golf for children. Barbeque areas by 2 are very spacious and all the resources you need. Well equiped units.
Genuine focus on COVID restrictions to support people safety.
Well worth the stay.

I think the pool has steps leading down to the pool. Though I have stayed at Voyager resort at Broadbeach a few years ago, they are only 1 bedroom though and I remember talking to a guest at the pool who goes every year and he is in a wheelchair so may be an option for you
Answer from Kaye R

Pool has steps and doesn't appear to have disabled facilities. Contact Management about the units. Perhaps they have a disabled unit but I'm not aware of it.
