Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have stayed on the gold coast on a regular basis for 10 years and I wish I had stayed here! For a start, speak or email with Deb directly. She is so lovely and will guide you with the apartment best suited to your needs. She offers a wonderful personal experience without encroaching on your privacy. The apartment we stayed in was amazing! Top end from start to finish. It had just been renovated and offered everything needed. Beds are so comfy with plenty of pillows and blankets if required. The location would have to be the very best on the coast, you can practically touch the water from your deck. It was just the two of us but this is the best every spot to bring the kids. BBQs, fantastic pool & spa and an easy space to supervise. You will not be able to beat the customer service, location and amenities. Thankyou Deb & Gary

You can't beat this beachfront location! So peaceful to listen to the waves from your balcony and watch the surfers in action. We spent 3 weeks here and found it so relaxing. The onsite managers are welcoming and very helpful. The apartment had everything we needed and plenty of room. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy. Thanks for a great stay. We'll definitely be back!

After researching the Palm Beach area for the right accomodation, Surfers Horizon is perfect for us. A hop, step and a jump and you’re on the beach that’s not swamped with people. Great pool & spa. The apartments have everything you require and are very comfortable, we enjoyed chilling out on the balcony enjoying the view especially the storm activity. Thank you Deb & Gary for your hospitality, we will be back

We stayed for a week in two apartments and the location was perfect, not far from great cafes and restaurants. Debs and Graham were awesome hosts, can’t wait to go back again and the beach view was stunning

Surfers Horizon is a nice place to stay. Only 30 units and on the beach front, no road between us and the ocean. Lovely waking up to the sound of the waves and watching from our balcony people walk the beach with dogs, surf lifesaving sessions, etc. Great pool too. Lovely, friendly managers too. Only problem is the Wifi. But they are looking into improving that. Would definitely stay here again.

My sister and I stayed here for a few days R & R. Debbie and Graham were wonderful hosts, with nothing being too much trouble. Our spotlessly clean unit was a delight to stay in and everything was supplied. The location is superb and the view of the beach was a magical way to start and complete each day. Will be definitely returning again.

I came for a short work stop-over and immediately extended by 2 weeks for a holiday. Oh how Palm Beach is coming of age ! But Surfers Horizons seems just far enough away from all the new buzz to enjoy the uncrowded patrolled, beach out front, the calm of flicking through a magazine on my oceanfront balcony, beautiful walks, short drive to each end of the Gold Coast. So much to do ... or just sit and watch the waves ... I guess this is my happy place :)

A little bit of nostalgia as my wife's family used to stay here for 10 weeks every year. Unit 2 had been completely renovated and had beautiful views of the beach. We loved leaving the doors open and listening to the waves (Very relaxing). There was some building going on behind but was no problem. A nice stroll to the Barefoot Barista for breakfast or a fantastic butcher next door to enjoy the spotless Barbeque area. Pool and spa area very welcoming. No problem with WiFi as used hotspot on phone and did all my business dealings in beautiful surroundings. The Managers Gary and Debbie were extremely helpful and a delight to chat with. Would definitely return in a heartbeat unfortunately work gets in the way.

We spent two weeks in unit 10 a recently renovated ground floor apartment. We came away with mixed feelings the main surprise being the construction taking place directly behind the apartments (8 level periscope apartments). There wasnt any mention on the website or previous reviews if I had of known I wouldn’t have booked as i was there for peace and quiet. We were all woken up each morning. We could also hear the people in the unit above going through their morning ablutions. Surprised in this day and age to have to pay for Wifi which is expensive. We brought a SIM card. The location on the beach with flags(depending on time of year) just down from the unit was ideal. There’s a 711 just 100 mtrs away for topups and McDonald’s if you’re desperate. Supermarkets are in palm beach. You can order online or walk down and Uber back as we did. Pool/spa area worked well as did barbaque area although as the barby area was just outside unit 10 when there were others there they could easily look back into our unit. No air conditioning but ceiling fans worked well. Would be a problem in the heat of summer as you need to keep back windows closed to limit construction noise. Beds were comfortable enough and showers had excellent pressure. There’s a small library of books at reception and boogie boards to use. Great coffee, views and muffins at Tallebudgera creek near bridge. Once construction is complete and wifi free we would recommend
