Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location was not the best as there was not a lot of shops nearby, anyways the rating was not based on that. The pool area was fantastic and the vibe from the outside overall presented well, produced a good holiday house vibe, inside the apartment is spacious however quite a few letdowns that I picked on during the stay, little things do matter * Furnitures are old and bring down the whole experience of the stay in a so-called 4 star accommodation * No air-conditioning in. Bedrooms, we were lucky this year it wasn't too hot during Christmas, so could live with it. * Pedestrian entrance needs to be improved, I hit my head on the wall light which is fixed too low while trying to dodge the plant grown over the path. * Unpleasant Registration Form, basically "orders" you to do certain things otherwise threat you with a charge, straight away first impression gone first day when I saw this, see attached photo

A very average place with a good pool and in a good location but I would not stay there again. There was no aircon upstairs and with the temperatures in the mid 30’s this led to sleepless nights and lots of complaints from the 4 kids which of course is never pleasant. We also saw a few cockroaches which I detest. The pool is very nice but other than that it’s a no from me.

The pool is great and staff were nice too! The accommodation was dated though and not well looked after... If you're on a budget and have a family this is perfect for you, but don't have high expectations of the facilities.

The rooms were disgusting, unclean and the bedding looked like it hadn’t been washed. I have never experienced this kind of bad room hygiene in all of my years of traveling interstate and abroad. The room had cockroaches too which was unbelievable.

My wife & I stayed here in a 3 bedroom apartment overlooking the pool. Good late check in process via the phone at reception & locked key box & map for directions. Lovely table & chair deck area at the front for breakfast, & cards later in the day. Apartment was clean, all amenities were fine, & made good use of the kitchen. Wifi was a bit hit & miss, but apparently in the middle of the area upgrading to NBN. Location was great for us, our girls were more than happy next to the pool (on the fabulous pool lounges), and generally very quiet pool area. Looked really good for little kids, with fun areas & sandy beach zone to keep them happy. Resort is largely owners, so it tends to be fairly quiet. Location was great with easy access to the beach for walks to Burleigh Heads, and really good local restaurants with a great start to the trip : The Olive Tree Espresso Cafe about 200m, local convenience store 300m, the famous mini golf some 500m away & approx 1.5km to the pacific fair shopping centre. There's a range of take away nearby to cover dinner, plus surf clubs. Highlight was a fantastic meal at Hellenika (Greek) some 1.3km away, which was quality (just pre-order the lamb shoulder), and pick a quality vino (there's plenty). And a wonderful seafood meal at Seascape in Surfers, a little pricey but worth the visit. Only 20min by car into Surfers. Prob 35min to theme parks.

We stayed here with 5 children. The pool is very good and we swam in July. It is great for kids and is a family friendly place. It is close to all shops. The townhouse we stayed in was well maintained and the complex has very nice gardens. It was also cost effective.

We recently stayed here for a week at the end of May. It's centrally located for the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Plenty of room and the amenities were very clean. They also were able to accommodate my disability by giving us a ground floor unit. Just a couple of things made it less than perfect, the owner/maintenance man let himself into the apartment while we were there. Then denied it when we complained. Also there was no Foxtel as advertised, which isn't a big deal except that I had 3 children 5 yrs & under who were sick with a cold and it would have given them something more to do. I would recommend it to couples and families but keep your door chained while inside.

Stayed here with the family for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Living room was large, there was also a laundry in the apartment. The resort and rooms are well maintained and the staff were very friendly. Close to Pacific Fair and restaurants. I'd happily stay here again.
