I decided to write a review for Turtle Beach as I read some terrible ones before my trip and was quite concerned about what I would find. I'm happy to say that it is a perfectly good resort, the pools are brilliant, the cafe is great and provides a good range of food and drink options right throughout the day and this is a great place to stay for families. I was on my own in my room but my son and his family had a two bedroom unit not too far away and my grandson had the best time at this place. Yes the couches in my room could use a good clean, but it had a great kitchen, laundry, separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed, and best of all a fairly new and very effective air-conditioning unit. If my family were going again I would have no reservations about staying here again. The room my son and family had was two bedroom and two bathroom and really large, perfect for a family group. The only minor negative for me was that my room was on the third floor and there are no lifts in these buildings so I found it a struggle getting my luggage up to my room and down again when I left. This resort has a special place in my heart as we have had many great family holidays here in the past. This time, I felt the resort was looking a bit tired and in need of a refresh. The facilities/pools etc are awesome and it's a kids paradise for sure, but I felt all areas could have done with a bit of maintenance and a good clean. Our superior apartment was the same, some of the kitchen equipment and other general equipment (eg clothes line) could do with replacing a good spring clean, our phone in the apartment didn't work and just small things like that which gave it a bit of an 'unloved' and neglected vibe. Also, the wifi is terrible. We couldn't get a stable connection for the whole week and a bit we stayed there. Very unreliable wifi which in this day and age is pretty annoying. Having said that, the location is excellent, across the road from some great restaurants and the beach, plus The Deck restaurant was great for good, inexpensive food and coffee. Still love this place and for families, it's wonderful, but give it a bit of love please to restore it to it's former glory.…

We just stayed at turtle beach for 2 weeks and had the most wonderful time! The kids had a ball. The set up is wonderful with multiple pools, which all have spas, and lots of shallow water areas for small kids, waterslide pool and the splash zone, the tennis court, beautiful gardens and mini golf. The location is great close to shops, take away stores and a 2 min walk to the grocery store and across the road from the beach! Also pretty close to the theme parks and other great areas to explore. The apartment was perfect, very comfortable, clean, everything you need. The staff were also all so wonderful, everyone was so helpful and friendly. We would happily stay here again!

Does the management know what the word RENOVATION means? Like come on seriously, run down, stinky and just a waste of my money. Carpet and furniture from my great grandmas house. Bed from the stone ages. Is this 2023 or 2003? DO NOT RECOMMEND. Spend your money somewhere else.

Exceptional resort. Everything a young family needs to stay active and out doors. Splash Park is great, albeit closes a little early and maybe in need of some tlc, but pools and spas are terrific. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, not the newest but exactly ideal for a young family. The Deck restaurant is probably what gives this resort the nod ahead of others. In a great central location and reasonably priced. The food is exactly what you expect for the price with great coffee and prompt service. Location is the only thing we found was a little bit of an issue. A little too far away from broadbeach or any main thoroughfares to walk. We hired a car and was only a short drive to be somewhere we wanted to be. But we understand location is out the resorts hands and they offer transportation services which is a great initiative. Over all our 4 and 3 year old loved the facilities and we would highly recommend young families consider this resort. …

The rooms are very outdated and dark plus having to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to our room was a nightmare. We were also quite far away from any of the facilities. We were only given one towel each for the 8 days we were there and the rooms didn't get serviced the whole time we were there and there was renovations being done upstairs that were extremely loud and disruptive with no prior warning. The beds are rock hard, and the bathrooms were dirty, I could literally wipe the grime off with my finger. The staff weren't helpful in finding an alternative room even though there was avaliablity online. The pools were freezing cold & the food at the deck was terrible. It's called a resort bit was reminiscent of a early 2000s motel. Would stay again if renovated and beds updated but otherwise won't be staying again. 1st family holiday, very let down!…

We do advertise across our sites that we are a 3-storey walk-up complex with no lifts throughout as well as that the accommodation at Turtle Beach Resort is fully self-contained and does not provide daily servicing or full amenities. A small selection of cleaning items is provided at the beginning of your stay and a mid-week service is provided for bookings of 9 nights or more. We apologise that you experienced noise from nearby works, unfortunately, this can be out of our control if we have not been made privy to owner-occupier unit works. We always do our best to assist under any circumstances and are sorry to read your feedback regarding the situation. We have noted your comments and will ensure these are raised with housekeeping as well as rectified where possible. The resort pools are kept heated to a consistent temperature of 26 degrees year-round. Again we apologize that your expectations were not met during your recent stay here with us all comments have been noted and will ensure these are followed up on to be rectified. This is one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed at. Terrible service, rooms are terrible, not even proper sheets or a doona on the bed. The roller bed broke middle of the night, not even made up properly, sheets not even on the bed no mattress protector and the bed smelled. The room smells, can’t even fit a suitcase in the room, door came of the hinges. My son had to sleep in the kitchen. They charged extra for toilet paper only given 1 roll for 8 nights and we’re charged extra for 5 people. There are just too many things. Booked the tennis courts and they were double booked. Room noisy, I tried to call the manger it took multiple times for them to return my call and couldn’t care less when they called. We needed to check out early because my Nana passed away and we needed to travel home with plenty of notice they refused a refund. One extremely disappointed guest. I would never stay here again and I wouldn’t recommend the resort.…

As a family of four, we really enjoyed our stay at this property. The apartments are large with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and two balconies. There is a huge kitchen with a microwave and a large fridge. The lounge room is very spacious. The beds were very comfortable, and the property was very quiet. There is no lift, so having to bring luggage up three flights of stairs might be challenging for those with physical limitations. The proptery itself is well laid out and fun to poke around and see what is there. There are at least four pools, tenis courts, and a kids' playground. We loved the bistro, which had good priced meals, such as burgers and pizzas, as well as alcohol and soft drinks. The beach is five minutes walk away, as well as a grocery store. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking available in the underground carpark. I would definitely recommend to families and friends who are looking for a reasonably priced place to hang out and feel safe and have fun.…

Love this resort. Very family friendly and very safe for younger children. Everyone is so friendly and the resort features so many things inside it like 3 different swimming pools, miniature golf around the resort, children's club and childcare. Have stayed here many times and will again.

We have just had 2x nights at Turtle Beach Resort, and left feeling pretty dissapointed. We booked a premium 2x bedroom apartment but it was far from a 4 star experience. The sofas in the living room were extremely stained, the rubbish bin was putting off an awful smell and upon removing the bin liner, realised it had not been cleaned from the previous guests, hard as rock beds but the worst was the kitchen was infested with baby cockroaches that came out at night. They were even in the dishwasher. I raised the bin and cockroaches with reception who sent someone in to clean the bin and spray our room - but not something we want to deal with on a break. The pools and facilities for kids was the only highlight. We wont be back.
