Liked · Thank you for the apartment with a sea view. It was nice to look out every now and then. Location was great for us and we could move around easily. We were glad that we could do laundry and there was a dryer too! There are shops nearby - Drakes, and other eateries too. The roof top pool with a jacuzzi are an attraction. Great views from the roof top! Also an outdoor pool by the road. The apt had a working jacuzzi but it was very noisy. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Disliked · The mattresses were dated and too soft. One can literally sink into the mattress. We stayed for 8 nights and we were given only a starter kit like small sachets of shampoo and bath lotion for a day, laundry detergent and dish washing liquid (one each) There is no air conditioning in the rooms only fans. (We stayed in Feb 2020). Save those plastic bags from shopping as the resort supplied only 1 for the bin on the first day. Be careful when you are at the roof top as the floor tiles are popping up.

Booked room 2H for four nights over a weekend. This unit came with underground parking.Room was very shabby and the tiled floor was filthy in all rooms.Taps in ensuite only dribbled water as did the shower. I had to clear filter gauze of years of muck to ,rectify water flow.Shower flow bad also. Basin tap handle not secured.Very noisy fresh air vents in both bathrooms that can not be turned off. Unit had basic utensils ,pots frypan etc full oven, cook top, full size fridge,ac,in main room only plus large tv. washing machine and dryer
NB Even though meant to have undercover parking because permanents have more than one vehicle if you go out no parking may be available when you return so only alternative is street parking which is near impossible to find.!

I started as Manager here in December and parking is the first thing I fixed. Each unit now has a spot allocated to it. The maintenance issues have been fixed as well.

Biggera Waters is a wonderful area to stay away from hustle and bustle but close to Harbour Town and most of the theme parks. We stayed in a two bedroom renovated appartment with sea views which was excellent value for money. Don’t be afraid to speak to managers to book exactly the level of accommodation you require as they vary from unit to unit. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Excellent cafe in the building for light meals and coffee. Would recommend!

For a supposedly 4 star resort was nothing that would warrant it's 4 star rating. From the broken washing machine lid, jets in the spar bath, cold water tap, TV Remote, upstairs pool, sauna and the second elevator. Blinds in both sleeping rooms had to be pulled all the way down with light from the court area still creeping in which felt like sleeping in daylight till the the outside lights were turned off after 10pm. There was one Air Conditioner in the lounge area to cool the whole appartment which meant both sleeping areas were hot boxes. Husband ended up sleeping on the couch the first night and the lounge room floor the last night as our two sons slept on the couch. The fan in the kids room could only be put on medium as high sounded like a Boeing 747 taking off. When we were finally able to do some washing, we learnt that washing towels meant the washing machine would be knocking on our neighbors wall. Everything in the resort seemed to be broken or in need of maintenance. Very uncomfortable and disappointing stay.

I am very sorry that you had these issues during your stay. I took over as Manager in December and have fixed all the maintenance issues. The design of the building only allows for the one air conditioner. Most of the year its OK but the rooms do have ceiling fans. Things have changed a lot since you stayed.

We were there from the 28th of June until the 1st of July 2021. During this time there was no access to the heated pool which is one of the reasons we chose the resort. The greatest concern to us however, was the state of the apartment. The sofa and crockery and cutlery were dirty, there are marks all over the walls, there was no plug for the spa, there are holes in the wall and a large cut out space in the ceiling. My son attempted to use the hair drier which made a noise and then subsequently smoke came from it so he turned it off immediately. The dishwasher handle was broken and there is a considerable amount of pealing paint around the doors and other areas covered with dirt. The cold water tap in the en-suite fell off as soon as you tried to use it. How this was rated 4 stars is beyond me. We have complained to the owners of the Resort who have not even acknowledged our complaint.

My family and I were recently (very briefly) guests at this place during the Christmas break (Room 6A). We’re only able to take time off from work around this time of the year and we were really looking forward to a relaxing break as a family.

Instead, we were greeted with a room that had peeling plaster/paint, old dirty couches, dirty carpet, and minimal furnishings. The whole apartment was stifling hot, as there was only one air-conditioner in the loungeroom. Coffee sachets were provided, but no sugar and no KETTLE?!

The beds were extremely uncomfortable and impossible to sleep in, and the rooms were so hot we had to lay (dirty) blankets on the couches and sleep on those as it was the only bearable room overnight.

The "atrium" areas where the lifts are, were dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. The pools were dirty too.

We brought our concerns to the attention of the staff member at the front desk but she was extremely unhelpful. We had no choice but to leave and book lodgings elsewhere, which wasn't easy at this peak time of year, and spend extra money we hadn't accounted for.

How they can classify this place as “4 star” is a real stretch. Barely 3 star. Misleading photos on website. Don't waste your time here, so disappointing.

Just spent 10 days here, starting on 30th Dec.
We had two x two bedroom apartments booked.

Ours was very recently renovated (less than a year ago) and done very tastefully with really nice furniture. Beds were comfortable and linen crisp and white.
The apartment was serviced after 5 days and all sheets changed.
The cleaning left a lot to be desired but it took me no time to wipe everything and start an otherwise wonderful holiday.
The kitchen needed more plates and bowls and the small, half sized dishwasher was no use as the dinner plates didn’t fit in.
So it was a great excuse to eat out every night.🤣
Only 20 mins from the Gold Coast.
Large smart TV but the reception was terrible - we weren’t there to watch TV though.
Pool and spa on the roof and another pool, spa and sauna on ground level.
Secure undercover parking too.
Secure, key operated entry to lift and rooms.

The other apartments fridge had to be replaced after several excuses for it reeking of prawns and my daughter cleaning it multiple times, were ignored. There was also no screen door on their shower, which was not ideal with two young girls.
They did condescend to put up a shower curtain though.
At $3400 per apartment, we expect more, than these easily fixed minor issues.

I would recommend a holiday here, despite a few minor hiccups.

Firstly we loved the location, nice and quiet and a 2 minute walk to beach front, could not ask for more.
Our room was modern, clean and comfortable, kitchen (small) but well equipped and beds very comfy also.
Leaving your apartment to the lush greenery outside is so relaxing and very peaceful, great job guys.
The games room has a billiard table and table tennis which our teens had a lot of fun with while beating Mum and Dad. The surrounding lounge area is spacious providing seating and a selection of books as well as family board games.
Gym room and workout areas are small but the equipment is fully functional.
If you are a runner or walker you will find some great equipment on the beach front so don't despair.
Rooftop pool is lovely in the mornings, captured some great photos up there.
Unfortunately spa was not operational but definitely not a deal breaker.
The tennis court area is compact and we retrieved many balls from outside the fenced area but it just made the kids more aware of not smashing it otherwise they were on search and find duty : )
Overall we were extremely pleased with our choice to stay here and would not hesitate to return. It is convenient to theme parks, easy access to shops and a beautiful location.
Our only beef would be the smoke waft from smokers on the balconies but unfortunately until higher powers ban this outright it will always be an issue for us non-smokers. Definitely no fault of the establishment or owners.
Thanks to all at The Atrium & all the best in 2020.

Avoid apartment 2D. The resort, in general, appears to be quite well maintained and the staff friendly and helpful. The apartment we stayed in had damaged fly screen, a spongy switch in the main bathroom which may or may not be an electrical hazard, poorly repaired dining chairs and a hole cut in the second bedroom wardrobe to access the blower for the spa bath. I don't know how dangerous this would be for small children who might play 'hidey' in there. The general upkeep was also lacking with lots of paint scratches and marks on the walls. There was also mould and/or dirt in the ensuite. We went out and bought a frying pan because we wouldn't use the one supplied and we didn't use the cutting board either - it still had food scraps on it, presumably from the previous occupants. I believe the apartments are all individually owned so I can't comment on the condition of the others. The views across the Broadwater are nice especially with some of the sunrises we saw.
