We entered the office with a pre booking, and was greeted by Luke
who looked after us last Nov on a premium site,he also arranged a studio unit
( M/home service) for us we were happy with his Helpful,Friendly service.
we were to early this time for our studio unit, so we asked about the Safari Tents
he checked availability and said yes here is a key,
Simple no hassle off we went to the Safari Tent right on the Creek.
We liked the basic layout with everything you needed and a large deck and Bbq with views
onto the local creek all other tents were vacant peace and quiet Great,
sitting on the deck dining and watching the Birdlife late afternoon on the Biggera Creek was a welcome change, private, peaceful, nice views.
Its a Major difference for us rather than in our M/home on site with Many cabins, vanners, children
and parents buzzing around, we know where we will Stay Next time we come here.
We have stayed here a few times, so off to the great bistro and cafe we ordered Espressos.. (Free coupons courtesy of Luke) and Peddle cars.. Not for us.
and as usual Perfect, later that night we had a take out Caesar salad it was large and delicious
with anchovies we praised the Chef next day how great the salad was he was pleased
to hear we were happy, same good service and meals as when we stayed last Nov, but quieter now.
The pool, and water play park and children entertainment here is great for Families.
Pity Some parents expect the park to Manage / Watch their children run riot and Spoil some areas for other park folk i am always Amazed at the amount of unsupervised children behaving badly, Parents should be responsible for their kids.
This park is so handy to Harbour Town for Movies, shopping and a great choice of Restaurants
from quick sit down Asian court style to very nice stylish places,
also there is a great Seafood shop behind the Caltex servo.
All the amenities were very clean, the Well maintained Gardens, and Sites were a
credit to the hard working Gardening Crews, thoughtful when whipper snipping mowing, near
your Vans or M/homes, Friendly Boss gardener the same as last visit.
The office staff were friendly, helpful, and personal like last time always trying to make

This place was a fantastic place to stay for a family holiday for a kids birthday. Plenty for the children to do with the choice of 3 pools, a water park, jumping pillow, activity program, mini golf, tennis court & playgrounds. My family stayed in a lagoon villa which was very nice inside and lovely outdoor surroundings. The mattresses in the rooms were hard as a rock (if we were here for a week I would want a mattress topper to soften it, very uncomfortable) but other than the bed, would happily stay in this room again. The room had Foxtel, air con, fans in every room, & space for 1 car (parking out front for visitors if you have 2 families meeting for the one place).

My family (myself, husband, Mr 6 and miss 3) stayed for 4 nights with a family bliss package in a Lagoon Deluxe Villa. The room was a little worn but it did not affect the comfort of the room. The villa was 4 steps from the pool and you over looked the pool and waterfall from the deck and lounge room. The kitchen was fully equipped though I would suggest plastic plates and cups for the younger kids. It had two separate rooms with a queen bed and two sets of bunks. Both rooms were comfortable and had fans. There is a bathroom with toilet and shower and an additional separate toilet and vanity. There is a carport for your vehicle and bbq on the deck which would be ideal for summer. There is a DVD player and Foxtel available.
The park Is amazing with 3 different pools (heated) with one including a slide, spas, water park, jumping pillow, playground, outdoor gym, mini golf, tennis courts, go carts (fee payable) and kids club. The kids club even runs during the week and while We didn't have a chance to attend kids club, it looked amazing.
The restaurant Is reasonably priced with delicious food. They make the best Diane sauce. You can eat on the deck overlooking the jumping pillow which is great for parents. They also make amazing cocktails!
The staff were also amazing and were happy to help with anything you need. They were great with our kids-always stopping to talk with them and have a laugh.
This is an amazing, family friendly park within reasonable distance of beaches, main beach and theme park's and has become a favourite of our family. We will definitely be back soon.

We stayed the resort for 5 nights in a deluxe villa. Clean all the usual appliances but was impressed by the modern gas stove/oven and large fridge/freezer. Plenty of activities for the kids. 3 pools, water park, jumping pillow, go karts, Basketball court. The main pool can become quite busy and a lot of parents not supervising their own children. A couple of small things that bugged us was the maintenance man put the bins right next to our bedroom window for some reason. Every man and his dog dumping rubbish all day so I had to keep the blinds down so I could walk around in my birthday suit. Also very unsavory people stay at this park. A lot of white sunglasses and sunburnt singlet tans. No one used the alfresco gym equipment either. Swearing and carrying on till late. The park would make a killing recycling all The empty beer bottles/Cans etc. Not the parks fault but be aware. Close to harbour town shopping centre and short drive to surfers. I will return hopefully next year but will strategically plan where our accommodation will be in the resort. Overall a great experience.

Hi Tonyscarecrow, Thankyou for taking the time to review your recent stay with us at Treasure Island. I am glad to see that you and your family had a great time with us. As you mention we have plenty of facilities and activities for the whole family. I do apologize for the placement of the garbage bins and have pass ed this onto maintenance to rectify. Please note that we do sort through the rubbish weekly and remove all the cans and bottles. Thanks again for your review and we hope to see you again next year. Regards Management

This holiday promised so much, we saved for it for a year, sadly it was a waste of money with so many of the other holidaymakers intent on ruining it for everyone else and the site operators seemingly powerless to act.
The park itself is great for kids, they still need supervision due to the water hazards and constant traffic.
There are three pools and a splash zone to choose from. Inevitably the main pool gets very busy in peak time and the nearby Lagoon Pool is an alternative. The Riverview Pool is sometimes empty as I’m not sure many people know it’s there, that was our pool of choice. The splash zone near the bar and restaurant is pretty good for the youngsters.
There are opportunities to hire a pedal cart at $10 for 45 minutes or mini golf for $4 per person, both half price if you are NRMA Blue members.
As the park was busy, unfortunately it was also a bit messy as the bins were constantly overflowing and very smelly.
We stayed in the Deluxe Lagoon Villas at the aforementioned Lagoon Pool. If you want a chilled holiday, avoid this part of the site, it is noisy from 7.30 in the morning until dark, the gates are constantly being slammed shut, so infuriating!
The room itself was fairly functional, the children’s beds were not made, although the clean sheets were in the room.
The wooden floor had been vacuumed, but it clearly needed mopping.
The villas do not have tinted glass, therefore you are like a sideshow for the pool users.
The kids had fun when they accessed the facilities, but that’s the only positive. We won’t be returning I’m afraid.

We have just returned from our three night stay in one of the Safari Tents & all had a wonderful stay. The tent had air conditioning and two fans with a raised out door area facing a canal. Lots of birds and very private. Plenty of activites and we never left the park. We had torrential rain one night but not in the slightest effected as it has a second roof over the tent. The bathroom attached was spotless much cleaner than some five star
hotels.
I would throughly recommend if you have children.

We have stayed at Treasure Island a number of times and I must admit this is the first time we were disappointed in the park. We stayed in the 3 bedroom Lagoon Villa and these are starting to look very run down and tired. We had a number of problems from cockroaches, broken old bunk beds and the kitchen lacking the basic essentials. This villa also has no laundry facilities and only room for 1 car even though it sleeps 10 people. For the amount you now pay for the peak season, over $600 per night I feel there needs to be some urgent refurbishments. We also stayed for 10 nights and did not have the villa cleaned in that time. Only a change of towels provided. I feel that at least weekly housekeeping would be offered if staying over a week a service that is offered at most apartments etc. Villa became grotty and the sheets needed a change and with limited cleaning facilities in the villa you can’t even mop your own floors. Interesting also that for the price, toilet paper, tissues etc are not restocked but need to be purchased and restocked yourself.
The park is also is getting tired. Grounds were messy and the kids club has the same activities that were there when we travelled for the first time 8 years ago.
We ate at the bistro one lunch which in the past has been great pub food, reasonably priced and quite tasty. This year we found a significant deterioration in the quality with my snitzel tasting like plastics and very few of the table of 10 finished their meal.
We have loved this park for a long time but it’s time to make some improvements.
On the plus side staff are great. Friendly and courteous.

The park is a great place for children with lots of entertainment. They will never get bored. Kids activities morning and night ( games, movie night etc). Plus the loads of activities they already have in the park ( pool, splash park, basketball, soccer, bikes, jumping pillow) Helpful staff. A few things that stopped me from giving this park 5 stars
1. The cabins ( stayed in a 6 sleeper) were too small.
2. All the washing machines in the closest laundry were ‘out of order! Very inconvenient to walk further to the other laundry carrying clothes etc.
Clothes dryers are 30 mins but even with a small load and no towels, clothes were taking longer than 30 minutes to dry so you have to pay twice! Rip off
3. The electric stove tops were painful to try and cook anything on ( too slow) and kept turning off.
4. Communal kitchen has no crockery, utensils, pots or pans! First holiday park I’ve stayed at that has none of these things! Very inconvenient when you want to check out of the room and eat breakfast with left over food you want to use.
5. To hire the parks bikes was highway robbery so the kids didn’t use them!
If it weren’t for these inconveniences, I would give it 5 stars!

NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort September 2020
Our very first time staying in a small flat at a Big 5 Park! The room gets cleaned every day with a new fresh set of towels. It is small, warm and equipped with only the essentials. Absolutely loved the little ground flat and our patio. Will I come again, definitely? This was our getaway where we showered our daughter with endless love, attention and fun before we became a family of 4 later that December. It was worth every penny. She LOVED the splash park, from early in the morning till late in the afternoons. We also played dome mini golf with her crying at the end as her ball was gone, haha! It is packed with kid friendly activities, equipment and fun sessions for all to enjoy. I have found that there are not a lot of activities for 1- 3-year-old's as this probably is the clingy to mommy stage or the difficult tantrum stage. It would be nice to have an activity set for them where they can enjoy in the fun too. Nevertheless, there are great places you can go sight see if you do wish to travel a bit. We went to the DFO and came across the Lindt store. Oh my, what a treat! We bought a box for $30, best choice ever. Our little munchkin was running up and down after eating half a ball. More chocolate for us, whoopee! Another great family friendly place is the Rockpools in Broadwater Parklands, Southport. Fleur enjoyed the endless time of running up and down the stream, saying hi to all the creatures and making new friends. We loved this place and only wished we knew about it earlier. The Park is situated at a decent place, right next to the main road which makes it easily accessible. The restaurant service is fantastic and fairly quick. It was a great getaway as a family. We highly recommend this place. Next time we will be camping.

It’s a great caravan park for young families, however the amenities need a bit of updating. Hot water takes forever to appear and the shower heads whilst once would have been luxury are old and need replacing.
The restaurant menu could use a re-fresh too, pizzas are foul.
Other than those things the pools and spas are lovely, great that there’s basketball hoops and lots of activities for the kids.

Thankyou for your enquiry. Unfortunately we do not have site vans for hire.
Broadwater is close-by and there is a safe swimming. About 15 min walk
Not sure. Best to ring them before you go.
I don't think they do, only one we saw the staff were using them. (Cleaning )
