Arrived hour early but was welcomed and given my site straight away. Grounds are kept tidy, and the shower block look quite new.. and was clean. I didn’t use the kitchen area but I did notice the cleaner in there early in the morning. Noise was minimal and from 10pm was very quiet. The beach is literally across the road. And the town was a 20/25 min was away. Totally enjoyed my stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again if on the Gold Coast.

Stayed at a powered site and brother stayed at a studio. With booking last minute the team replied back promptly and worked out a great deal for my brother in the studio being the last available option for us. The powered site was a lot bigger then where we have stayed before giving us a car park space, fitting a 4.5x3 & 2x 3x3 gazebo very comfortably. Toilets and showers were clean and tidy and plenty there so never had to wait. Camp kitchen always kept clean, even have guest parking/extra car to keep your car safe for the stay. Swimming pool was shaded and clean and I specially love the longer “step” for my 2 year old to play and splash without having to be held 24/7. The playground just outside the pool area is amazing for a the little ones to dry off while you get everything together properly for the walk back to camp.
Right outside the entrance across the road is another playground and the beach for the little ones to build sand castles. This is truely the best spot if only a little food works/iga opened close by this would be the number one spot. Sad to see the place shut for yr 25 but glad I got in before they did. Can’t wait for them to re open we will definitely be back.

We are a futsal team from Brisbane staying at the venue - it is a brilliant facility, friendly and clean. Being a stone throw away from the beach for recovery after games and activities is excellent and makes our lives cruisey. This is a beautifully maintained park. The cabin was very new and all the amenities in the park had also been recently renewed. Many items are provided in the cabin which was great, including a good set of crockery, glassware, cutlery, saucepans and many kitchen utensils eg strainer, grater, chopping board, tin opener.
The cabin was clean, fresh and bright. The location is exceptional; opposite the Beach (with flags), on a bike path along the beach, near a delightful strip of restaurants on Tedder Avenue - Italian, Greek, Fish and many many more.
The pool at MBTP was a highlight. The kids loved it and we swam at least a couple of times a day.
SeaWorld is only a couple of kilometres away, so a 3-4 minute drive.
This site is very family friendly but also perfect for couples and a group of friends. We could not have had a better stay. Thank you MBTP, I can’t believe how lucky we were to land in such a fantastic spot.

Main Beach Tourist Park is value for money. It is close to the beach and the bus stop. It is clean and senior-friendly. I feel safe and secure when I was there. The main toilet and shower block is newly built and you need a PIN to use it. These means that vagabonds and itinerants cannot use it. It's a bus away to Surfers Paradise, Star Casino and Pacific Fair.

We love the area of Main Beach and have been visiting at the same time for a number of years, but this time we were a little disappointed with the park.
With a single axle Expanda van we were able to get on our site without too much trouble, but, a second set of eyes would be very helpful, especially when you have a non co-operative neighbour who refuses to move their ute for 10 minutes to assist. We have noticed that many parks, especially further north, do insist on assisting their guests to back their caravans onto their site.
Our ensuite had received a coat of paint in the last 12 months, but, the tap that we complained about last year, was still leaking water over the sink unit and was still loose. But where was the towel rail, the old one was a little dangerous, but to remove it and not replace it with something more suitable, why? Fortunately for us, we have a towel rail on the outside of the caravan to dry our towels on.
The rubbish bins were overflowing on the Saturday of our arrival and were not emptied until Sunday morning and this wasn't the only time that the bins were overflowing.
On previous visits the park had very good security, but now that the gate behind the games room has been removed it is open access 24/7 to anyone, and I did disturb a couple of youngsters looking to do a bit of late night shopping. (Your emergency assistance number is below the dashed line on the section of paper to be placed on your car dashboard, hence no phone call that night.)
Up until late in our stay, all the staff were excellent until we met the groundsman who complained about everything. He had every excuse under the sun as to why he is NOT to assist people to access their site, and then gave me a serve because I said to gain access to our site I come down the road against the arrow, just to put the van on the site and to get it off due to the height of the concrete slab and potential tyre/rim damage. If this is the case, then fix the levels of the ground and concrete slab or supply a small tractor to assist. I finished up assisting this guest after your staff member walked away. The next morning, this same staff member was complaining to another guest as we walked past.
I did notice that there is a AED on the wall outside the office, a BIG positive from me, but do the other guests know about it? ( These sort of things are what some of the other parks tell you while assisting you to back the caravan onto the site)
A tip for all is to ensure that you accurately know the total length of your setup, including the drawbar and any rear extension that you have.
Sadly, the current service level and condition of the ensuite sites does not match the tariff charged.

We had an ensuite powered site. The ensuites were very clean, modern, spacious and very private. The public amenities were large, modern and very clean. Laundries were also large and modern with many washers and dryers. Staff in the office and around the park were friendly and helpful. The park is in a prime location on the GC close to shops, restaurants, beaches and boardwalks. The park is lovely and quite for this time of year (August).

We rented the ensuite powered site and it was perfect for us. It's in a beautiful area which is close to alot of things and the beautiful beach across the road.
The staff were all lovely and happy to help.
The pool and BBQ area were perfect for us and the kids. With plenty of washing machines and dryers it was perfect when we needed it as we didn't have to wait as there was a machine available.
The cabins look nice and cosy so looking forward to seeing then maybe next time.

Main Beach Tourist Park is the perfect location to explore Surfers Paradise. We had our bikes and you are a short 10 minute ride to Cavill Avenue and even closer to Marina Mirage. It is also a very easy walk to Tedder Avenue where there is an IGA, bakery and a number of restaurants.
The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. We had a corner ensuite site which caught the morning sun and enabled us to say hello to all the passers by, which is a bonus of any caravan park.
The pool was warm and clean and a great spot to relax. Best of all was the free membership provided to the Southport Club across the road which provides hearty meals and extremely reasonably priced drinks with membership.
The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. We had a corner ensuite site which caught the morning sun and enabled us to say hello to all the passers by, which is a bonus of any caravan park.

An absolutely awesome experience, friendly and helpful staff. The facilities were spotless and modern with hot well operating showers, brand new washing machines and tumble dryers and a great pool....then to top it, they are across the road from the beach. We highly recommend Main Beach Tourist park!! You guys were just awesome!!

Yes you can walk to the tram which is about a 8-9mins walk (1km). There is also a bus stop right across the road taking you directly into Surfers Paradise.
