Tripadvisorโ€™s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booked a one night stay via the website, standard one bedroom.
It was very good value, free under ground parking, good size balcony with excellent ocean views.
Bathroom a little dated, but sitting room and kitchenette were fine. Very comfortable bed.
Had to contact reception- they dealt with our minor issue very quickly.
Pool area and gardens were well maintained.
So close to the beach and to Tedder ave, where there are lots of cafes/restaurants.
Main Beach is not far from Surfers, but quieter and much less sleazy.
Would recommend for a stop on the Gold Coast.
Sea world is also so close

I had a short two night stay here recently. I was on my own and was lucky enough to have a room on the 15th floor with a spectacular view looking towards the beach. The room was well set up and clean. It had everything needed for a good stay. Although I didnโ€™t eat there, it could have easily done so given what was provided. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. I even managed to get an early check in. It was also conveniently closes to restaurants cafes and convenience stores on Tedder Avenue or near the beach front.

Without a blink we would recommend, stay at this resort, again. The staff is helpful, going out of their way to accommodate your request, the late night check-in was smooth and the superior 1 bedroom suite was quite clean.

The view from our balcony was very very romantic, and the neighborhood is quite quiet.

There are some.amazing cafes close-by and the public transportation is quite efficient.

In short, the kind of area we would rather stay in instead of staying in the touristy ones.

Negatives: Terrible Wifi; Broken, Worn and Tired Fitout and Decor; Needs Deep Cleaning
Positives: Location and Parking
Do not stay here if you need connectivity to work, worst wifi : buffering, drop outs and unable either upload or download anything. Had to use my phone hotspot for this review. One bedroom garden/pool view was more street view. Two zero one is at the end of the corridor near the rubbish chute. It was old and unrenovated in a long time. The dishwasher did not operate. The light in range hood not working. There were books but no adequate light or lamp for reading. The dรฉcor was awful. It looked like a load someone was donating to charity: all in poor condition, mismatched, damaged, no sense of style. There were picture hooks on the wall with no pictures. No cohesive resort, holiday or beach vibe. It had a musty smell. I think the term resort is over stating this block of old holiday flats. The photos on line are very misleading. I recommend choosing premium or asking for a recently renovated room or looking elsewhere.
The shower leaked through onto the floor. The standard of clean was barely adequate with sand and crumbs under the couch cushions and shower screen needs a very good deep clean along with the light switches. The kitchen needs recaulking and the stove area cleaned of ingrained grime. It looks like it has been virtually untouched in 30 years with rings and marks on furniture and everything just a bit grubby.
Could hear coughing and voices from upstairs.
This is a great shame as the location is terrific with Main Beach and the shops/restaurants an easy walk away. As we approached we were impressed. But our expectations were not met on any level. Parking was free but someone else had parked in our spot so it was a hassle to go back to reception to get another spot allocated. Walkable to tram stop.
Overall, for the price paid, we left disappointed.

This 'resort' is a real dilemma. I chose this hotel thinking it was a resort, but it is very much serviced apartments with permanent residents, which means no cleaning (not a problem), supplies like toilet paper and coffee not restocked. Also means you need to clean your own dishes and empty the bins at check out.
Pros: amazing location - open the sliding door, listen to the waves, see the ocean! Short walk to shops and tram stop. Close enough to Surfers without being too close!
Nice little pool and spa area. Skybus stops at the door. Full size fridge, decent little kitchen. Washer and dryer in the large bathroom. Comfy bed and pillows.
Cons: 80s decor in desperate need of an update. Bathroom is surface clean, but the silicone and grout is mouldy and broken and feels very grubby. No pool towels, this is a pet hate of mine. Couch smelled like it had never been deodorised let alone cleaned, and was torn.
Overall I'm not sure I would stay again. Cons might outweigh the pros for the price.

Excellent service and well priced room. Great location with food and beach nearby and can hear the sound of the waves. Parking secure and easy.

Staff very helpful prior to checking. Room clean and air-conditioned worked perfectly.

The overall experience wasnโ€™t enjoyable. The room was extremely dusty, dirty and was not cleaned to the standards expected. The bathroom sink was clogged, dirty walls, kitchen cutlery and plates dirty. Construction was going on in front of the building and it was extremely noisy, couldnโ€™t sit out on the balcony. View was probably the only positive about my 4 night stay.
Wouldnโ€™t recommend this place.

Nice hotel very clean well equipped kitchen and nice pool area just a short walk into surfers or down the road for dinner. View from the balcony of the beach and a lot quieter than staying up the beach in surfers. Coffee shops and food just a short walk next door

Lovely view. Nice rooms except not very clean. Needs a good spring clean. Hair on bathroom floor & blood on underblanket on the bed. Sent an email to let them know but weeks have passed & no reply. Location is good.

Yes, there are definitely washing machines and driers in the bathrooms. I've stayed here a lot and use them to do my washing on longer stays.

There's also Uber, which is generally cheaper than taxis. And the theme parks have a shuttle you can catch.
