We planned our holiday almost 12 months out. We, a coupke with 9 year old son, specifically choose Sea World Resort as we love the concept.of stying right beside Sea World and all the promotional things ans reach I had done said that Sea.World Resort is an amazing experience and well worth the premium that you pay to stay there. Our package was for accomodation for us in 1 room for 7 nights, with breakfast included and unlimited passes to the 4 theme parks. The good: Check in went well, tho we never got notification that it was ready as they said they would. The pool and water play areas are amazing The lifeguards were super diligent and.made you feel safe in that someone was always watching Pool towel shed providing dry pool towels as you needed them is a neat idea, loved that we could get as many towels.as we needed and just swap them over as needed. The average The wifi coverage was average, I struggled to get reception in our room that was right beside the pool area (couldn't get reception when sitting by the pool) and seemed to be very slow speed The spa pool wasn't much warmer than the main pool so wasn't the relaxing retreat that was advertised. The room was dated, we needed to call the handyman as shower head would stay in place, and leaky taps.and toilet. Only one type of pillow available so if it isnt comfortable for you makes for an uncomfortable week. The breakfast was average, the staff were great but if you have any dietary requirements it's a bit hard to get information and the coffee that you have to pay for was horrible. The meal selection at the restaurants was limited, again specially if you have dietary requirements. The poor We were told we would be notified when our room was available, which we didn't get It was hard to find information about what services were. The website said there would be a minibar, there would be a kids zone and a kids club - none of which were available. Mr 9 was absolutely gutted that the kids zone.and club were not operating. When we went to ask about what was happening we were made to feel like a problem and the staff member just dismissed us. There were several occasions that the Waterfall Cafe had private functions on, there was a school formal on the Thursday night which made it impossible to get in or out of the resort for a couple of hours, it also meant the Lobby Bar was extremely busy that night. The Friday night the Waterfall Cafe was closed for the birthday party which was loud and made hard for Mr 9 to get to sleep and then Saturday night the Bar and Grill was closed for a wedding. The Waterfall Cafe and the Bar and Grill are the 2 cheaper options for meals on the resort, it was really disappointing as a paying guest of the resort that the advertised facilities not available to us. Then we went to book experiences with Sea World and the staff member at Sea World was really surprised that we didn't have the eVoucher from Sea World Resort as they thought we should of had it so we missed out on $150 discount. Overall we have been left disappointed with Sea World Resort. We appreciate that covid has changed lots of things, but all of the changes in services being available could of been notified, along with the kids zone and club being closed, and the restaurants being closed for private functions, just makes you feel like you haven't received the experience that you paid the premium for. Disappointed as it would be so easy for Sea World Resort to ensure those who choose to stay there have access to all facilities and when they are not available there should be some form of discount or compensation for that.

Really enjoyed this 2 night stay. Mum, dad and 18 month old in a premium double view room. Firstly, the view of the Broadwater was fantastic from the second floor unit. The unit itself was generally clean and tidy with the only minor complaints being regarding some cleanliness with some hair left in the bath drain and the bathroom exhaust vents needing a good clean. The pillows weren’t overly comfortable but I guess that is personal preference. We hired a microwave from the resort at $10 per night, brought a sandwich press with us and utilised the small bar fridge to avoid expensive dining out for every meal, however we did dine at Melrose Italian restaurant at the resort for one meal and it was really nice and well priced. There are many other dining options at the resort however we did not try those. I used the gym on two occasions. Whilst very basic, it did the job for a quick holiday workout. The water park for kids is great. They have areas to suit all ages. The exclusive SeaWorld park entry from the gift shop located in the resort made things so easy. No big lineups and you can come and go between the resort and SeaWorld as many times as you like which is where we found this stay to be the greatest value. Our 18 month old got tired around lunchtime so we headed back to our room for lunch and a nap before heading back to SeaWorld completely reenergised and we had a fantastic afternoon up until the park closed. After the park closes, you can head back to the resort for an afternoon wine while the kids are able to play in the resort water park until 7pm. Parking is included at the resort. Overall, this is a great value family stay if you choose your food options wisely to save some money. Some great memories made.

Our stay exceeded my expectations of such a large and popular resort. It fascinated me how efficiently the place operated, how tidy the entire resort was kept, and the service from all the staff. It’s a real credit to everyone involved, and that sentiment is replicated throughout all the Village Roadshow attractions we visited. All staff are to be commended for the effort they put into their work and to the management who operate such large operations. I have travelled many places in the world, although this was a first with a young family, yet it surpassed anything I expected. These attractions are real world-class facilities and they truly made for a perfect family holiday.

NOT a disability friendly hotel and that was not highlighted when we booked a presidential suite that involves stairs, quite a few. Infact there were many areas I couldn't access because of stairs. Coming out of the elevator heading to our room gave us a good sign in what was to come (picture attached) Reception was the only 'admin/front oh houde staff we dealt with (did also get bar and breakfast staff and 1 housekeeper) and they were kind but being in a wheelchair, they didn't even send us to concierge to get help with bags to room or anything. To change rooms from most expensive presidential suite would have come with a big downgrade onto the floor/ level being renovated during the night with no reimbursement. The room was great, even if I did have to crawl/drag myself up and down stairs to our room a few times which also left me more room bound than I would have wanted. Had great view of Broadwater and was shielded from the constant noise of the children in pools etc. My only issues with the room were some faulty power points (leading to phone not charging overnight) and light switches (couldn't turn balcony light switch off which hindered sleep a little)....a 3 legged table on balcony with one leg substantially shorter than other two which led to many spilt drinks and food and a very scratched old glass dining table of sorts. Spa was great with TV but otherwise room was very dated albiet very clean. Decided last min (5pm) we wanted to pay for late check out to get a sleep in and friends really wanted to pay for such but was informed that had to be done on phone to reservations which opened at 8.30pm so didn't work or happen after all. Buffet breakfast was basic but sufficient and staff in there were helpful setting up a table with me being in the wheelchair. Overall, it was a disappointment, 500 dollars for a night with breakfast was to much, even more so with the stairs and being in a wheel chair (which also stopped us from going into the park as pulling myself, out of wheelchair up stairs was exhausting) and the fact the resort looks very tired and old compared to my previous stay many many years ago when it was still branded the Nara Resort. Milk wasn't even in bar fridge to go with tea and coffee supplies. Parking also is a nightmare. You would 1, think the only 3 presidential suites would come with reserved parking and 2. more than 2 disabled car parking spots would have been offered. Booking was under my carers name, initials A.H. and for Monday just gone if that helped customer service looking after this page and replies helped narrow down booking etc.

I feel this resort is like 5+ stars luxurious hotel to us. Staff is absolutely SUPER friendly and they made our wedding anniversary unforgettable. The broadwater executive spa room is stunning, comfortable, and with amazing water views. The water park and restaurants are also excellent too. There were lots of things to do here. We will definitely come back with other family members. Thank you, Toni and front office team, for making our wedding anniversary soooo special ❤️.
