We arrived late after a very taxing drive and was met by Tony who was supper helpful regardless of the time and the next day his wife Susana was able to help us in our language as to where to go and see providing Pamphlets and directions.
We had asked for a unit with good views and where pleased to obtain a large spaces area for our stay, most units we have found in our travels to small and cramped.
The unit was clean tidy with all the necessary appliances and kitchen utilities, so that made it easy for the two of us even had a rice cooker.
The location of the Hotel was in a great spot as it was in walking distance, close to shops, beaches, restaurants and that saved us the driving.

This is the third time I have been back to the Meriton on the Main Beach as I love the peace and quiet of the larger older style units that have water views from the balcony's going from the bridge to the marina, it is my favourite place to sit for breakfast and dinner watching the sun set at the end of the day and as the lights come on it is a very pretty end to the night.

Secure free parking for the car near the lift up to my floor very easy to move in, tennis court, pools, spar, BBQ and the spacious 2 bedroom apartment that had everything I needed, all clean and tidy making me feel very comfortable.

The hotel is close to the beach and both Southport and Surfers Paradise.
Nearby there is a convenience shop, as well as restaurants with many dining options. When it comes to shopping and food, you just cannot go wrong with staying at Main Beach.

Next time I will come back with my friends to holiday again at the Meriton

Friends just arrived from over seas, so I had the job of showing them the Gold Coast and the surrounding beaches. I knew just where to stay from last my last visit and that was at the Merton on Main Beach.
The rooms being spacious with a super well equipped kitchen.

The two bedrooms large in size and they had a great view up Broad Beach. Everything was clean,The gym and pool were great to use. Friendly staff, grocery store and restaurants just steps away also a large park and tram line only a short walking distance.

It was peaceful to be away from the business of surfers paradise but literally minutes on the tram to get back into the action for them. All in all a great stay.

The apartment, while spacious definitely needed a bit of an update. The furniture in the bedrooms was very tired, with broken drawers in the main bedroom and walk in robe. The balconies off the main bedroom and dining space face north looking out over the Broadwater, but both had a rusting air conditioning unit on them which detracts from the experience. Apparently all the apartments are privately owned so it is a bit of a lucky dip as to what you get, but Unit 76 definitely needs a bit of love.

Our family spent 10 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment on level 11. The space was clean, spacious & tastefully decorated. The view was to die for. Booking in was no fuss. The location is central to everything we wanted to do on our holiday trip, like shopping, the theme parks and Zero Latency. We will definitely be return visitors. Perfect accommodation.

Very happy with our stay for 5 nights. The staff were so lovely - even dealing with me not being able to use the after hours check in and coming to my rescue. The indoor pool, sauna and gym were fantastic! The outdoor pool was freezing but it was April and I imagine in the height of summer it would be lovely. The starter pack of toiletries was great. It's a self service apartment so a quick trip to the IGA had us all stocked up. Wonderful location.

The ability to lock the balcony so children can't go out (hard lock) would be a great addition - just for peace of mind.

Great location, impeccable facilities and cleanliness. Great and well appointed family apartment with everything including great views. Will stay again.

Check in and out after hours was a breeze and the Main Beach shopping and dining strip was right outside. Can’t ask for much more than that for a last minute booking on the Gold Coast and over a weekend.

The Meriton on Main Beach was one of the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. If you think it has anything to do with the Meriton, it doesn’t.
It is a very old, very dated and not so clean hotel. The staff isnt so friendly or helpful. They will argue with you and deny any problem about the hotel. Location is good though.
