I’ve stayed at The Crest multiple times and will continue to do so. Location,price,customer service and beautifully kept apartments with a gym,pools and spas,really is my home away from home. I honestly can’t wait for my next break away,reception truly went above and beyond in their customer service,friendly caring and respectful.

The apartment is in a good location and fairly clean but the customer experience here is terrible. They provided me 1/3 roll toilet paper then charge $2 a roll for the smallest roll of toilet paper I’ve ever seen (and I travel a lot). The coffee machine I was provided had the wrong pods and they only replaced one then told me additional pods would be $2 each. Then the proceeded to charge my credit card $46 for forks they said were missing when I left. They didn’t bother to try and contact me to ask about this. The cutlery was left in the dishwasher that they didn’t clear properly. Now I am left trying to fight for my money back. When did people decide it is ok to literally steal peoples money without talking to them about it first? A phone call costs a few cents and a few minutes of their time.…

We have stayed off and on at The Crest for the last 6 months for sporting reasons . The room was always spotless and the friendly staff were amazing from the minute you got there until you left . They would go over and above for whatever we needed done . I have a daughter with brain damage who can be hard to handle at times but the staff were incredible to her and she loved being there . The position in Main beach was so handy to all shops and it has great facilities . I would recommend this resort to anyone and we will be back . Russell

we just spent 9 nights at The Crest and could not be happier with the service that was provided. Upon check in we were upgraded to a larger apartment. The apartment was extremely clean and had beautiful views. The amenities including the outdoor and indoor pool were exceptional. As a young family taking their first baby on their first holiday we couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay here. Thank you The Crest for such a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to come back.

When the Gold Coast marathon was cancelled we thought we would do the right thing by our accommodation and postpone our booking. After a 3 night stay in November we were contacted to be told we were being charged $18 for 2 wine glasses. When we arrived we found one of the three wine glasses was cracked. We then left this on the bench for staff. We were charged for another missing glass. After emailing the Crest advising that there were only 3 wine glasses when we checked in (one of which was cracked) the manager agreed to refund the cost of 1 glass. The email we received essentially accused us of lying about the missing glass. Despite numerous follow up emails we receive no further correspondence from the Crest and they have retained the cost of one wine glass. It seems we are now being ignored. We have traveled throughout Australia & the world over the past 40 years and never been treated so shabbily. Suffice to say we will never stay at the Crest again.…

As you know, we have stayed at this property for the last four years and I have written positive reviews. unfortunately, this stay of two weeks was not enjoyable. I acknowledge that this is a mixed permanent and holiday apartment block. I also acknowledge that I contributed to some of the issue. We were upgraded to the Penthouse on this occasion from the usual apartment we stay in. You would think this to be a great thing, however, the standard and cleanliness of the apartment was not up to standard. when I raised the cleanliness with management, I was advised that they had been trying to get into the apartment for some time to do a spring clean but had been unsuccessful. At a time of COVID, this clearly meant that a full covid clean had not taken place. The issues ranged from dirty skirting boards, to what management called lizard dropping on the inside of the apartment on a breakfast bench. The quality of towels were also very grey and thin. The microwave was filthy inside and the cupboard doors had food on them. I cleaned both, and the animal droppings myself on day 1 as it was not to my standard. I also shouldn't that the deck chairs by the pool had flying fox dropping all over them, which remained in place for three days before the rain washed it off! during our stay, some one (permanent resident) parked both in one of our designated parking spaces and another permanent resident's park. In turn, and this is where I take accountability, I parked in another permanent resident's carpark on the belief that no one was parking in that park as no vehicles had been seen in the park. In the morning I returned to my car to find a note which treated assault and called me names for parking there. I raised the matter with management. On a seperate occasion, similar occurred. management this time called me and asked for me to explain why I had parked in another car park. I advised them why to be told that they had never seen another car of the description I provided in the building before ( after I took the photo of the offending vehicle, they acknowledged that they were another permanent resident, but denied that they had parked in the wrong carpark. they provided me that the resident's park that I had parked in was furious! I am sure they were, however, they were also the ones who threatened assault. Management provided that the resident was tenanted through an external body and as such, which is correct, they had no control over the actions of that person. They stated that they would raise it at a forthcoming Body Corp Meeting. I am afraid I do not go on holiday be threatened. This type of event caused me stress and anxiety. It is unfortunate after many years, that this stay was not a positive one. I write reviews honestly. I wish management the best of luck for the future and thank them for the many years of positive engagement.…

We have stayed at The Crest numerous times over the last few years and we will keep coming back. We can park up with the knowledge our vehicle is secure and walk everywhere we need to when we are there. Patrolled beach within a few minutes, local surf club is awesome for a feed and a cold one. The kids love the heated indoor pool and the rooms are pristine and well appointed. The staff are friendly and check in and out is straight forward . Great place to stay for a weekend or a week.

Comfortable and tasteful rooms with a perfect layout and lovely sea breezes , A beautiful pool and sauna area, and not to forget the best managers in Main Beach! The 5 star team at the Crest are a step above. It was absolute bliss staying here and I am sad to leave. Highly recommended ❤️

Whilst Main Beach is our favourite spot on the Gold Coast, The Crest is a favourite 'home away from home'. We've tried other apartment/hotel complexes in the area, some perceived as ' more exclusive', though The Crest really does leave them for dead. The tastefully renovated apartment we had this time was very comfortable and very well presented offering all one expects. The overall facility that includes an indoor and outdoor pool, full size tennis court, parking, 'hop, step and jump access to trendy Tedder Ave shops/restaurants and Main Beach waves and sand ensures a great realxing stay and 'bang for buck value'. All credit to Managers Christine and Keith. Can't wait to see you again soon.
