My wife and I were part of a group of runners from Adelaide participating in the Gold Coast marathon. The park gave a large group of people the chance to stay together. Relatively close to the light rail, although a long way on tired legs after the race. The large camp kitchen enabled us to have meals together. There are shops nearby and the staff were friendly and helpful

The internet is the worst I’ve experienced anywhere I’ve been. Not only do you have to login daily it doesn’t last the day and when asking the front desk they are apologetic however cannot assist other than to apologise. The air conditioning is poor at best and I would suggest as per the internet requires updating throughout the entire place as these are the first two things out of anyone’s mouth when discussing the stay. The mess from trees on your car is will have you asking the desk if they provide a free detail on your exit, worse if there is a storm.

Loved everything about it. Immaculately clean in cabins and around the whole park. Park appeared to be full but was so peaceful and quiet. Staff were very polite and helpful. The macaws were a huge hit. Location is fantastic between Surfers Paradise and the theme parks. Will definitely book again if we travel to the Gold Coast in the future.

25 Years between visits. Last time I was here I was 12 years old. Loved the place then owing to the gardens and the Macaws. Found out nothing has changed in that regard, but now as an adult and father, I can appreciate the park even more. The pool area and playgrounds are great for the kids. The cabin was spacious and clean, and well situated for the aforementioned kids activities. The beds were extremely comfortable too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The park itself is very well located for shops and restaurants too, and easy enough to get to the theme parks.

Good and clean accomodation. Cook and kitchen ware were like brand new. Exceptional apart from squashing too many beds in bedrooms. Shared washing facilities were clean but quite expensive. Good location and good for groups. Friendly staff and amazing security. Would return.

i recently had the pleasure of staying with my extended family for a weekend of fun to celebrate my birthday. Our treatment from first inspection to check out by the manager Lisa was seamless. In fact all in our family remarked of how friendly and caring the staff were . the Cabins were very well equipped and were spotless. Everything you could have needed for a holiday was there. The pool area is superb and the children were entertained by the antics of the beautiful macaws around the grounds. Our family made good use of the tennis courts and great bbq area. Well done Ashmore Palms! We will be spreading the word about this little gem of a place in the heart of Gold Coast.

We loved everything about Ashmore Palms, lovely clean villa, great parks, pool and kids activities. The Macaws are amazing and we highly recommend a holiday here. Close to Surfers Paradise too if you want to get out and explore. The staff were so helpful and kind and we will be back!!

Great relaxing atmosphere , amazing clean fully equipped cabins ,good showers , kitchen was supplied with everything you need to cook with oven plus microwave, own car space ,the kids loved the pool and rainforest walks ,bonus looking at all the stunning macaws . Staff were lovely We will be back

Just spent over a week with family at Ashmore Palms. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good clean accommodation on the Gold Coast. Plenty to do for the kids as ours didn't want to leave in the end.

We enjoyed our stay at Ashmore Palms. Our Macaw mansion was clean, neat and had great facilities such as modern dishwasher, oven, cooktop, good size fridge, air conditioning and a lovely big spa. The beds were comfortable and the two pools were heated, clean and sanitised using Ozone which is great. The kids swam even though it was April and found the pools a little cool until they got used to the temperature. We found the pricing very good value particularly when I compared to other accomodation for our family of 2 adults 4 children. We were only a 15 minute drive into Cavill avenue, shops, entertainment etc and the Ashmore Palms village was very quiet. Couldn’t hear traffic etc. we had a hit of tennis and used the DVD library both with no charge. Easy parking next to our accomodation for our hire car. Stay was excellent!…
