We have just returned from the beautiful Santorini Kastelli Resort hotel and only wish we could have stayed longer. This hotel is outstanding in every way possible and has a wonderful and heavenly feel about it. From the minute you arrive at the gate the staff are at hand and make you feel very special. All the staff are exceptional, always ready to help with a smile. They just cannot do enough to help you!

We especially want to thank Adonis and Michael who went above and beyond to help us and made our stay possible. Unfortunately we had been told by our travel agent 24 hours before our stay, that the hotel was closed and that we would have to stay elsewhere. This was totally untrue and we later found out that our travel agent had actually cancelled our booking with the hotel a month before. Adonis and Michael were fantastic and worked tirelessly to find room for us at really short notice, for which we are extremely grateful.

Staying at the Santorini Kastelli Resort was wonderful! The whole experience was amazing! Our room was a double delux and looked out onto one of the jacuzzi pools. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are cleaned everyday and there are plenty of clean, freshly laundered pool towels around every pool area. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of variety and the soft music in the background made for a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The bougainvillea and the gardens are beautiful and the whole hotel has such a relaxing vibe. It was so lovely to lay by the pool at the front of the hotel and just listen to the birds chattering and singing.

The hotel is perfectly situated and is only 2 minutes walk to the Kamari Beach where there are lots of lovely restaurants serving delicious food. We enjoyed eating at many of these restaurants but found the Vinsanto Restaurant to be absolutely outstanding! The staff were delightful and so friendly and the food was delicious and really top class. We ate there many times and will definitely be going back in the future. Exceptional!

We also went on a catamaran trip around Santorini, for my partner’s birthday, which was brilliant fun! We spent a glorious 5 hours sailing, sunbathing, swimming and the crew cooked us the most delicious meal. It was the highlight of our holiday and a great way to see beautiful Santorini.

Santorini Kastelli Resort is such a fabulous hotel with such attentive, caring staff. Everything about this place is perfection and we feel we have found a hidden gem. It exceeded our expectations without a doubt and we cannot wait to return. We have always loved Greece and the beautiful nature of the Greek people and we have travelled to many parts of Greece and it’s islands. This place has such soul, we adored it and we cannot wait to return.

A massive ‘thank you’ to Adonis, Michael and your wonderful staff. We can’t thank you enough for your warmth, hospitality and for all your hard work in giving us the most wonderful holiday in these troubled times.

I cannot say enough good things about this resort. As a female solo traveler I chose this resort, over just a room, for recommendations, comfort, and safety. Castelli delivers all of these! This resort is absolutely wonderful. Upon arriving, I was greeted after my very long journey with a fresh glass of orange juice, water, and a moment to just simply decompress wow they gathered my itinerary and got my room accommodations ready for me. The staff here is beyond top notch, the location is amazing and super convenient for just about anything and Kamari, and the rooms are absolutely accommodating, spacious, and beautiful. The resort property in and of itself is impeccably manicured. At first, I thought that maybe I was getting amazing “special treatment” but when I encountered them servicing other guests, every single person who comes to this resort gets that level of service.

As a solo female traveler I felt incredibly safe the entire time. Even at night, security is on the grounds and monitoring any and all activity. Kamari itself is an extremely safe little place in this world. The three pools on the resort are luxurious and wonderful options. There is a spa also in the resort as well as a hair salon. I absolutely loved the little library as well that you could visit and grab a book just to waste the time away. The restaurants on the resort are very very good. all of the meals I had were awesome.

The front desk staff are the real stars here though. Every single recommendation, every single bit of advice they gave me literally turned this into the one of the most amazing trips of my lifetime and I cannot thank them enough for that. I traveled here from Athens and was fairly exhausted after the journey and turned around even after the bus had dropped me off fairly close to the resort. I called the resort as I was extremely lost and the front desk staff literally had one of the gentleman come and get me and “rescue me“ and my luggage while I was in the middle of the road in Kamari. These gentlemen are absolutely amazing.

If I ever return to Greece and Santorini, this is where I will stay again!

We have just stayed here for a week and loved the place. The mostly young staff really are all great - friendly, chatty and genuinely always pleased to help. Special mention for Constantinos in the restaurant and Mikki (spelling ?) who did such amazing deep tissue massages that we just had to keep going back to see her.
Pretty much all couples here so nice and quiet - no groups or late night noise. Its just a minutes walk from the beach and restaurants and more life if you need it. We were given a room overlooking the main pool, they play music there during the day, not that loudly but we found it disturbing when we were sat outside our room reading. So we asked to move room and they did it with no question or problem at all. Maybe worth specifying that you want a room away from the main pool if you want solitude. Anyway, there are several other pools around and lots of quiet corners so its never difficult finding somewhere that suits or a sunbed. It was really impressive how smoothly the whole place ran. I never saw anyone obviously in charge or giving staff orders - testament to how organised and well trained the staff are. A real pleasure staying here.

This is our fourth visit to the hotel and I can not recommend it enough.
The staff are so attentive and caring, nothing is ever too much for them and even if a small mistake is made (they forgot my eggs one morning) they do everything they can to make it better. They have so much knowledge of the area and are very helpful! Thank you to them and the manager.

The hotel itself is beautiful and very well presented. It is cleaned every day, and with the 4 pools there is plenty of room for everyone. Although it sounds like a big site, it is so peaceful and relaxing. I never felt disturbed and you can go to the pool bar or they come to you around the main pool. The upgraded pool area / Lydia’s Restaurant is very modern and comfortable and the reception is very welcoming when you first arrive.

Transfers were easily arranged to and from the airport and they also ordered us a taxi to Thira one day. Although for £20 you can just as easily get the bus from the football courts a short 5 minutes away and this only cost us €1.60 each.

We were very kindly upgraded to a Junior Suite which was just perfect. The bed was massive, and the terrace had a gorgeous view and it was here I became engaged too!
The hotel provided us with a bottle of champagne which we were very thankful for.

Breakfast was very nice, and they adapted from the buffet to a big choice of continental breakfast plus something off the menu. We also visited the restaurant in the evening which was nice, but we like to go and try lots of different restaurants for our stay.

The main strip isn’t far away, about a 2-5 minute walk depending how quick you are and there are many choices.

I was a bit worried about the travelling at first but it was virtually the same just with your forms and masks. The airport is being upgraded (finally) but it was the smoothest journey we had flying back.

All in all, we have had a different room each time, but the experience has always been outstanding. We can’t wait to go back.

We booked Kastelli resort for our honeymoon trip initially in May 2020, due to Covid we had to rebook our wedding and honeymoon 4 times. Not once did anyone at Kastelli have any problems with this, they were always very accommodating. Dimitri,Andonis and Mihalis on the front desk were always polite and quick to respond via email and calls.

The hotel grounds are very beautiful and extremely well kept so much so my partner insisted on a photo shoot everytime we ventured out. Pristine white and blue decor throughout! 💙

The superior deluxe double room was spacious and the bed was super comfy. We were welcomed with a free bottle of wine and fruit platter. The room had views of the sea and mountain which is topped by an ancient ruin (super great to visit). The rooms are tended too daily and the maids was super lovely.

The finest aspect of the hotel were the people that ran it. Andonis the hotel manager was always keen to ensure we had pleasant stay and even brought dumbbells up to the room so I could maintain my workouts (the gym was shut due to Covid regulations).

The restaurant staff were incredibly helpful and loved sharing tips about things to do on the island. All members of the team would always say hi and have a catch up which really made us feel at home.

We were very sad to leave, and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for having us, we loved our stay.

Simply fantastic!

Beautiful hotel, fully booked but quiet, chilled-out atmosphere, never a problem getting sunbeds or a table in the fantastic poolside restaurant. The breakfasts were AMAZING, the dinners were also very good with some typical Greek dishes. We found the drinks rather expensive, though, 10 euros for a cocktail. 5 for fizzy water, 5 for a glass of wine or a beer. All the young staff we met were friendly & spoke very good English, though we were surprised that the manager made no attempt to introduce himself or find out how we were getting on, even though he walked through the restaurant every evening. Our room was lovely, overlooking the main pool, though our time on our balcony was spoiled by having a smoker on the next-door balcony which drove us back into our room. The room was thoroughly cleaned every day.None of the pools is heated & 3 of them are very small though they have jacuzzis. There were Covid precautions in place & although all the waiting staff wore masks, we were told that they weren't necessary for guests as all the public areas are outdoors. Because of Covid the spa & library were closed & all meals were waiter service.

Absolutely incredible hotel from start to finish:

• hotel staff friendly and very tentative
• location ideally situated to the beach front
• the cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding
• beautifully modern but with a traditional twist to ensure it kept the traditional Greek feel.

I couldn’t fault this hotel, I had the most amazing stay. We stayed in a suite and it had a balcony overlooking the main swimming pool which in the evening was lit up. They have 4 swimming pools to cater and provide enough space for people to relax in peace.

We stayed during the pandemic so breakfast was served to us and we had a range of continental items, along with being able to pick from a menu which consisted of omelettes or eggs cooked to your taste.

For the first time I don’t think I can fault a hotel. My only concern when booking was the airport and whether you’d hear the planes, but they are not that frequent and it’s very faint if they do fly over. Not something I would worry about with this hotel. I can’t recommend enough.

We booked a week in this resort and what a week it’s been. The room which the manager Adonis organised for us is amazing. Right beside the little infinity pool and very close to the main pool and restaurant. Nothing is too much trouble for the great staff who man the main restaurant and pool area. The hygiene is impeccable with masks and gel always available The breakfast was stunning in it’s array of choices particularly for me as I am coeliac. Lovely food and tasty snacks. Adonis also recommended the Santorini Yachting tour of the islands and it was fantastic. The staff were great but Nancy made it for us. She was so helpful and attentive, she made us lovely salads and rice with shellfish we also had a lovely barbecue on board. We have two more days thankfully but we will be back.

We stayed at the Kastelli Resort for a week in May for our Wedding. From the moment we arrived the manager and his team went above and beyond! We booked a Executive Room with Shared Pool which the hotel upgraded to a Executive Suite so we would have more space to get ready on the morning of the Wedding. On the Wedding day itself they sent complimentary room service, pressed the Wedding party’s shirts and arranged a area for all 45 guests to meet prior to coach pick up for drinks. The morning after the manager came to congratulate us and sent a bottle of champagne. We honestly could not fault the customer service, it really was a highlight of our stay.

The hotel itself is immaculate and is in a excellent location. The food was fantastic- we had breakfast and lunch round the pool, really food portion size. Other guests we know had food on the evening and said it was some of the best food they had on the holiday.

Thank you once again to the manager and his team. We would definitely return.

Recently returned from this superb, friendly, good location boutique style hotel.
We wanted this side of the Island rather than, busy Fira and Oia, which are easily accessible by local bus or car from the hotel.

On visiting Oia and Fira, although spectacular views. They we’re both disappointingly commercialised, we we’re advised to avoid when cruise ships were arriving, which we did but still way too busy for us. Sunset restaurant’s do get booked months in advance. We did not get our 1st choice, we asked Emi on reception he kindly managed to book another for us. Both locations are still worth a visit, if only for the views.

The facilities at Kastelli are all good, staff are excellent, rooms and all areas kept immaculate. We stayed in room 405 then by request kindly moved to 102, which was ground floor. Used the lovely spa Jasmin Delicacy and Hot Stones were good choices for us. Treatments by Zanna and Lydia very professional therapist.

Food was excellent plenty of choices at breakfast I missed a mixed fresh fruit salad, I asked such a sweet waitress and most days she made me a small bowl. We had lunch occasionally, all meals and service were excellent. We mostly chose to eat out for evening meals at nearby restaurants, a stroll to keep you fit!!

We we’re not a fan of the volcanic beach, that is our choice. Plenty of clean sun beds mostly attached to the restaurants, seemed very popular during the day. You need beach shoes, which are a available in the near by shops. We we’re quite happy spending days around the beautiful pools at Kastelli.

In the village of Kamari you can have short boat trip round to the next bay Perissa for few euros.

We had a superb 8 days in Santorini staying at Kastelli.

The Kamari beach is a public beach. There are some beachbars where you pay only for your consumptions and other that you pay also rental fee for the sunbeds.
