Just got back from a week's stay in Santa Elena. We had such a warm welcome from Sofia and Yiannis making us feel very welcome, they both we're amazing throughout our stay so helpful going out their way to help with anything. The rooms in the hotel are basic but have everything you need, including free air conditioning and a... More

A very nice hotel with warm welcoming staff/owners. We had 3 rooms on 3 different levels of the hotel and we were all very pleased. The pool area was perfect for us travelling with kids. The staff helped us with ordering lunch from a nearby restaurant and we enjoyed it in the bbq area, next to the pool. Very nice... More

Left here after 6 of the most relaxing and perfect days of a round the world trip. From the moment we arrived and met Yiannis, Joyce and Sofia we were made to feel incredibly welcome and more like extended family than just another guest. The hotel itself is small and busy but most days we had the pool to yourself... More

My family of 4 stayed at the Santa Elena for 4 nights in late June. We had 2 rooms on the second floor overlooking the pool, and we had a wonderful time. Breakfast was very good, and the hotel is located about a 5-min walk from the main Kamari beach. There one will find dozens of restaurants and shops and... More

We spent an entire week here at Santa Elena and it was amazing! We loved our balcony room looking over the pool! Just devine! The staff are so helpful and always happy when they greet you! And the hotel itself is a short walk to bus stops, restutants, kamari square and the beach! Perfect! Would definitely come back for a... More

Just returned from a lovely week at Santa Elena. We received a really warm welcome from the owner who helped carry our suitcase inside and upstairs and who continued to be really friendly and helpful all week. The hotel itself is in a quiet location about a 10 min walk from the sea front and nearest bars/restaurants which makes it... More

About a 8 minute walk to Kamari Beach and all the noise that comes with it, which is good if you like quiet by the (excellent) pool. The bus to Oia is steps away. Rooms are great, with powerful a/c, breakfast is nice enough.

My wife and I booked to stay at the Santa Elena in August for 5 nights in October based on its high ratings on TA, but arrived to find the Hotel shut for the season! No lights were on, the pool was drained and there was a mesh, metal makeshift gate across the entrace. Our flight meant we arrived in... More
