This 3 star hotel, now renovated, is located in Caleta de Fuste, with fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Really close to the downtown, where there are several shopping centers and a short walk from the Castillo Beach where water sports can be played.

The Elba Castillo San Jorge & Antigua Suite Hotel is lauded for its excellent location close to beaches and local attractions. While the rooms are celebrated for their spaciousness and cleanliness, some guests suggest they could benefit from modernization. We had such an amazing holiday here in January. The all inclusive was great value for money, breakfast was amazing with a chef cooking eggs, omelettes and pancakes each more and full English, pastries etc on offer. Restaurant open at lunch but we liked to pool restaurant great toasties burgers salads etc tea coffee cakes fruits and ice creams available all day from the pool bar too. Good selection in the evening everything hot and well cooked. The restaurant staff were amazing especially Mercedes and Ramón whom the kids looked forward to seeing every day. Kids club was great on twice a day Kasia and roberto were so amazing with the kids and this continued to mini disco every night too. Didn’t stay for much of the evening entertainment because
Of young kids but during the day a good selection of rifle shooting archery table tennis darts etc and no pressure to join in. Cleaners came in every day made the beds and done bins cleaned once a week and beds changed. Location of hotel was great, lovely 15 minute coastal walk to beautiful clean beach very child friendly but if you walk through town only takes 5 mins to get to beach. The pool seafront side of the hotel was heated, still a little chilli but fine once you got in and lifeguard on duty all day. For a 3 star hotel we couldn’t have expected more and will return in the future.

Stayed for 6 days 12-18 January 2020.Travelled courtesy of Jet 2 from Birmingham.
Excellent flight and airport services which included special assistance and adapted transfers.
Stayed in room 2216 a 1 bedroom apartment.Spacious but unfortunately no air conditioning or sunlight at any time of day.
Check in was smooth and without delay.Apartment included a fridge and microwave and a safe at an additional charge of 10 euros.Towels were available for pool hire at no charge but a refundable deposit is required.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The restaurant was excellent with a great selection and bars were well stocked and open until 11.00pm.
The swimming pool and surrounding area were well maintained although the tiling required some TLC.
Evening entertainment was mixed but the animation team worked hard to please.

We are especially thankful for you mentioning the large variety of the Buffet restaurant. We are constantly bringing new ideas and we try to offer as much variety as possible, always looking for the middle way between the local taste and international dishes. It is good news to know that we are on a right way. I am also delighted to learn that our staff went the extra mile and provided an excellent service to you. A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
I stayed here with my partner for 5 days. We booked this hotel based on the pictures of the double delux room which looked newly refurbished and with a big double bed and brand new bathroom. When we arrived our room was old and in need of a refurb nothing like the pictures atall! There were 2 twin beds pushed together which easily slipped apart in the night. The hotel room was clean but missing some vital touches for example there was no plugs in the bedroom for charging phones of a night or drying hair etc. The room was cleaned daily to a good standard.
We didn't go all inclusive but asked reception if we could pay for 1 meal in the buffet restaurant the lady advised we could pay per meal? which we didn't understand as it was a buffet service but you could only pay via credit card not debit card or cash which I found odd and was not able to do as we didn't bring one.
The hotel is very big and we was based in the San Jorge side of the hotel. On the first day it was hard to find our room as there are not many signs stating which way for which rooms etc. I could imagine this to be hard for families with young children/prams and older people.
The hotel is in a good location for the beach and bars. Around 10mins for both.
The dog and duck pub attached to the hotel is worth a visit with very cheap branded beer. 1 euro for a bottle of San Miguel.
Overall the hotel was okay. If eating out for every meal the self catering option is good if you are planning on cooking the appliances in the rooms are not enough and I would suggest going all inclusive.

We were 2 couples that had another great stay at this hotel from 7th-14th March. We previously stayed here 2 years ago in the same month.
Okay some handy points about this hotel because reading previous reviews over the last few months it’s obvious that some people don’t do their homework before booking their holiday.
This hotel is only a 3*, the reason being I think is it does NOT have air condition in the rooms. I have noticed that 1 Travel Company did advertise it has but from our experience both visit,s it does not.
Personally I couldn’t survive in the Summer without it but March was bearable.
The rooms do need some TLC,ie furniture wise. Everything else was great. The shower was fantastic but anyone preferring a bath you would need to fill bath with shower head as there are no taps on bath.
The beds are some of the most comfortable we have ever had and I need a comfy bed.
There are British T.V channels if you like to watch the news or your fave soaps while getting ready for dinner.
The first time we visited we had Seaview Deluxe rooms, don’t let the word Deluxe fool you as remember it is only 3*. This time we decided to book 2 x Seaview 1 bedroom apartments, Best decision we ever made. Apart from being much bigger all in it was great to get up early doors, make some coffee and sit on the large balcony. Didn’t see a coffee percolator but we didn’t look, we took the Nescafé Gold Cappuccino and Latte sachets with us.
The rooms were cleaned daily and like most hotels if you want clean towels just throw dirty/damp ones into bath and cleaner will change them.
We went All Inclusive again as we found the food is really good especially brekkie to set you up for the day.
We always enjoyed all meals at this hotel and there was always something for everyone.
There are a lot of stairs at this hotel but there are small lifts.
This hotel is split into 2 hotels hence the name. Both times we requested to stay in the San Jorge as we found it much quieter for adults. The Reception area is in the Antigua side so if you were in the San Jorge you need to go outside to get to it San Jorge side. There are separate pools at both sides of hotel.
I have to say that all the staff at this hotel are fantastic, always have a smile for you, especially reception, restaurant and the bar at night time . Entertainment isn’t the greatest but considering we were 4 adults we did enjoy it.
We were there before Lockdown but did fly home on the day we were due to fly so we got our full week,s holiday. Flights were starting to get cancelled the day we came home.
Another great thing about this hotel was though it says everyone must be out rooms for midday which we were, we were still allowed to use the All Inclusive all day which doesn’t happen anywhere else we stayed.
Hopefully this hotel will survive once Covid 19 is over with in the months/ years to come as we will definitely be back.
Thank you to everyone that works in this great hotel & hopefully see you in the near future.

Booked a one bedroom self catering apartment with seaview for 18 nights and it was a great seaview. The apartment had a small kitchen equipped with fridge with ice box,two electric rings, toaster, kettle, cups, bowls. pans, properly all you needed for basic self catering. The safe was in my opinion well overpriced for the hire charge . The apartment was clean at all times, toilet, bidet, shower all cleaned. Shower worked at all times plenty of hot water at all times. A TV in living room and bedroom had quite a few English channels available.Bedding and towels sorted each day.The bed was two big singles pushed together but they were comfortable. The apartment was on the top floor the building is three levels , a few lifts , but as other reviewers have mentioned it as a stunning sea view. The location of the Hotel is ideal for all local attractions , bars etc. Cannot comment on the food in the hotel as we had our meals out.If you want a drink in the hotels bars they do not take cash, you have to get a charge card from reception which you load with money to use in the hotel. Check in and out at reception was easy and the staff very help full and polite. The airport is nearby on arrival walked outside and got a taxi for 13 euros for the two of us including our luggage straight to hotel. In all cannot fault this hotel, just note there was no air con in our room. Will definitely return to this hotel.

Booked this hotel based on very good reviews and location.
Reception area is very nice. Checking in was fast and we received very good service.
We booked in to 1 bedroom apartment with sea views.
Views are incredible.
We were all inclusive and there was always plenty of choice even for fussy eaters like myself.
Location is very good, on the coastal path to Caleta de Fuste only like 10 minutes walk and you have all beautiful views and chipmunks to feed :-)
Hotel was ok, rooms needs a bit of TLC, such as windows and patio doors but for the money you pay its ok.
What makes this place very good is their staff. They work extremely hard and always have smile on their face.
We were on the second floor about the pool. Unfortunately being above the pool, there was always a lot of noise from children. So if you like peace and quiet our advice would be check with reception before they check you in to room or apartment.
We picked this time of the year as kids were not due for half term until Feb but even than there were many families with kids.
Entertainment wasn't very good, aimed more for little kids than adults.

Myself and my partner Neil stayed at the Elba Castillo St Jorge and Antigua suite in Caleta de Fuste, Fuertaventura from 15th December 2020 - 9th January 2021. We go to Fuertaventura every year but have never stayed at the Elba before. After much debate as to wether we should go this year because of the Coronavirus we decided to go ahead and stay over Christmas and New year. On arrival we were greeted by Tito on reception, such a lovely gentleman who checked us in quickly and even asked us would we like to go to the restaurant for lunch as it closed at 3pm and it was 2.35pm at this point, he said he would look after our luggage at reception if we wanted to. As we had eaten on the flight we decided to get to our room and unpack, we’d booked a 1 bedroom apartment which was huge, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with all the makings of a home from home for the 3weeks we were there. Our room overlooked the bars over the road and the Dog and Duck pub opposite, it was lovely because we like to see what’s going on instead of looking at the pool. We had a wander out for a couple of drinks and gave the all inclusive a miss that night as we were tired, next day we went for breakfast and were greeted by wonderful, friendly restaurant staff who explained the Covid safety rules and put us at ease. The breakfast buffet was more than ample and well cooked, choices of anything you could want, lunch in the restaurant much the same and dinner too, we unlike a lot of all inclusive guests do not fill our plates 2 or 3 times but thoroughly enjoyed what we ate. The entertainment was superb, it must have been difficult for them because the hotel was very quiet but they continued to go on and did a great job, Tina who played saxophone and sang was brilliant as were the other guys and the young lady in charge of animation was amazing, doing everything to make our stay fun, she even formed a stage all by herself for the act on New Years Eve making a stunning background which looked like it was brought by a professional. Enma on the bar, well she was a star, always funny and upbeat, her service was second to none, and last but by no means least the gentleman who owns the souvenir shop on site was amazing, helpful and so polite and friendly.
Another bonus although I know you don’t go on holiday to watch TV was it had English channels BBC 1 & 2, ITV 1 and 2, and CH 4 which was lovely as when we wanted a quiet night we could watch our fave programmes. There was even an aviary in the grounds with 5 beautiful budgies and a couple of gorgeous hotel cats, the pools were immaculate as was the entire hotel and even though we’ve stayed at at least 10 hotels on the island and 8 in Caleta de fuste, we’ll be returning to the Elba in November till January this year, God willing the COVID issue has gone away so this beautiful place can get really busy again, GOOD LUCK to all of you and if I’ve failed to mention anyone I do apologise.

As there wasnt a great choice f hotels open we chose this great find on an all inclusive basis.
The food was plentiful and great choice and had plenty of great meals with a superb choice of desserts. Had to wear mask everytime left the table.
We first given a room overlooking the sea on the windy side which was fantastic with comfy beds and comfy put up bed and most if very cool due to lack on sun on it and the wind. However this room got flooded one night with a pipe in the bathroom and we were moved to a smaller room facing the road. It was stifling hot and not as comfy and noisier. The next day we asked to go back to our old room but wasnt ready so they after a bit of gently haggling put us in another sea view room. Although this was also very warm at night with no air con the superb ocean view more than made up for it watching the fishermen at night and the stars was well worth it.
The grounds and rooms are kept very clean and the larger pool was empty most of the day and was very refreshing with a constant strong breeze to keep you cool. The other pool was lovely and warm and busier.
The evening entertainment wasnt to my taste but we stayed to enjoy some singing and a band.
The on site supermarket was shut but there was one over the road.
Nearest beach was huge and 6 minute walk.
I would say if the hotel was full it would of been too busy and crowded for me but the capacity it was at was pure heaven
Had a great stay thankyou

Big Sandy Beach is 5 min walk away its beautiful and also Camel Ride there. Scenery is so nice people walking even at night couples and families walking around that beach and people eating drinking right next to it even one open party think it was an Anniversary ! All in all great hotel and holiday !

Stayed 1st - 11th July - Upon arrival at Fuert airport I was informed my original hotel was closed and this would be my newly allocated hotel.
Arrived at the hotel approx 12:30pm and the reception had no booking for me. The reception staff were very reassuring and sorted the issue (Caused by my holiday provider) within an hour. They were so nice that the Welsh lady even borrowed us her personal fan to use in our room.
Very large room with all kitchen amenities with a dining table and chairs. Lots of plug sockets, safe (3 euros per day and 10 euro deposit), hairdryer, toiletries and clean towels every other day. Room cleaned daily except Sundays.
Rooms DO NOT HAVE AIRCON. This seems to be the case in most hotels in Calleta and so when booking people should bare this in mind and maybe book somewhere more expensive if this is a necessity for you.
Fantastic location right by commercial centro parade of bars and restaurants, Also only a 10 minute walk to the Marina and the beach along a beautiful coastal path where, if you're lucky, you can feed the chipmunks.
The bar and restaurant staff are so accommodating and will really go out of their way for you. They wear their masks all day and work tirelessly. Yes, the food can be a bit samey, but this is the case at most all inclusive hotels. There was only 1 day that I didn't really enjoy the food. We did choose to eat out a few times just to contribute to the local tourism. Great choice of drinks included in the AI options and could even take a bottle of wine to your room.
Although the hotel wasn't very busy during our stay the restaurant did get busy at each of the early meal sittings. Not many English here during our stay but I think this was due to travel restrictions.
It was very sad to see half of the hotel shut, no kids club, entertainment, supermarket, pool tables, kids play areas or the Dog and Duck pub. I hope that these have all been able to open now.
All social distancing measures in place. No self service due to restrictions but this didn't affect the amount of food you could eat.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again and look forward to seeing it in it's full open status.
