Nice quiet camp site close to the Gold Coast but a million miles away. The managers Alan and Margaret could not have been more helpful. The wallaby tent was great for the one night we were there. BBQs, toilets and showers were clean and tidy. Remember to BYO your drinking water or boil the tank water there.

We recently enjoyed a night camping in a Wallaby onsite tent at South Currigee on beautiful South Stradbroke Island & it was just fantastic. This island is only about a mile (1.6 km) off Queensland's Gold Coast & yet you feel like you're much further away out in the bush. No bright lights, cars, buses or highrise hotels, just nature...

The facilities have been continually upgraded over the many years we have stayed here, from Gas BBQ's to Microwaves, sinks and lockers available. The campground is thoroughly maintained and cleaned every morning. An excellent location with great service.

Stayed just the one night over Easter. Surf side is great. Not many people around. Campsite was great with a lovely view. Campsites are a little distance from the reception/kiosk so be prepared for a walk. Toilets and showers are in urgent need of an upgrade. Fire pits at each campsite was fantastic. Prices are really cheap. Maybe management should...

We have an awesome time staying here over easter. The facilities are clean and well maintained and adequate for the numbers this camp ground attracts. The staff are friendly and helpful and really do seek to help out where they can. They are responsive when questions are asked. When we were coming home our tinny rip-cord stopped working at Jacobs...

We hired the Wallaby huts. These are canvas tents with a steel internam ftame and have a large steel shelter built over the top. Very weather proff. Lino floors and 2 double-decker bunks in each, as well as a small wardrobe or chest of drawers. That way, you only have to take a pillow and a sheet or a sleeping...
