Positives: Great location, lovely pool, nice little gym ok apartment Negatives: As with the previous review..absolutely appalling customer service by the resort manager. (The receptionist was lovely by contrast) The Wifi stopped working after 24 hours ( I work on the move so wifi is crucial). I reported it and waited for service provider to come and repair but nothing happened. More than 24 hours later still nothing had happened and I hadn't been updated. This also meant that TV on demand wouldn't work either. When I rang up to say that it was unacceptable at $3700 per week I was told that I could leave and move on! I almost fell off my perch! Never ever been treated like that before. The next day I was offered to go to different communal areas to use their wifi (which isn't ideal) and more than half way through our week's stay wifi was restored, although still dodgy. Certainly no apology was ever received, I had to continually chase and was never updated until it was fixed (we probably wouldn't have had the wifi restored if I hadn't). It caused me a lot of stress on the work front and we had to pay an excessive amount of money for the privilege! The fridge broke which meant the fresh veg and meat food shopping went frozen solid and had to be thrown away. When reported to the front desk the maintenance guy came and reset it after implying that it was a known problem with the owner. So I went food shopping again and food again frozen! I reported it again and was told to hand in receipts to reception for a refund. So far, annoying but these things happen and fair enough the fridge was replaced the next day and a refund had been offered. However, when it came to handing the receipts in and asking for a nominal refund I was challenged (days after we had safely left!!) by Katrina the resort manager, implying that I was making it up because when the fridge was replaced the second lot of food looked alright! That was because the first lot had been thrown away! Thawed out cucumbers and carrots don't taste nice but look ok! I sent three emails which she didn't even have the decency to bother replying. I said that it wasn't about the money (which they had offered in the first place) but actually all I wanted was an apology. No reply was ever received. Minor other things...The hat stand was broken and the recliner sofa headrest also.…

As per our records, we can confirm that a technician was organized the afternoon the Wi-Fi problem was reported and the issue was resolved the following day. A refund was offered due to nothing further that could be done prior to the technician arriving for the following day. I can also advise that our maintenance worker checked the fridge and then replaced it the following day upon further issues were reported. We apologise your stay did not meet your expectations. Absolutely disgusting service! I arrived after hours to check in and was on hold for 20 mins. I finally spoke to someone on the phone and his name was Darcy! He hung up on me when I was trying to get in and I had to call back the main number and on hold again. I was locked outside for another 10 mins until I got in. I received an email from Lisa the following day to come to reception to discuss the matter. I was basically told there is no Darcy who works here and I was made to feel like a liar!!! Grubs

Family of 3 for 6 nights. Very spacious clean and comfortable. Master ensuite large and very nice. Great pool. But you need to pay $5 for extra towels... Really! Short walk to beach and you can walk about a 1 km to Pacific mall but to far to walk with groceries back, Coles closer about 500m Train station 400m train or uber to Surfers CBD $12. I would have given this place 4.5 except for maintenance issues and Curtin's. The windows face directly east great view but the curtains can't be fully closed so you get bright sunlight coming in early in the mornings, hard to sleep in Maintenance: our AC control panel LED went blank, the buttons worked but couldn't read menu program and had to guess if it was on auto or fan or timer managed to get it running continuously at good temperature but not easy .We Reported this on day 2 and subsequent calls but no action. Surely they would have a spare panel to plug and play? 2: the master bedroom door jammed closed I had to use balcony to get from living area to bedroom which is not convenient with a 5yo. My wife had to sleep in spare bed incase our daughter had to get up during the night. We Reported this day 5 but nobody came to look or fix A general note to travelers. Many of these holiday apartments are privately owned but managed by a receptionist employed by a management group. It is not like a hotel where they employ maintenance staff.…

So many choices for accomodation however I chose Ultra Broadbeach Resort for my 13 night stay visiting from Perth and my first visit to Queensland. Was very impressed with everything, staff were very helpful and friendly, location was perhaps one of the best, a 5 min walk to Pacific Fair and a 5 minute walk to Oasis Shopping centre for essentials. My room was 504 and was clean and well fitted, no complaints at all, a comfy bed, lovely balcony which I never got to use as the weather from 9-22 May was wet, wild n windy, so disappointing. Hospitality was great, dur to the weather I did some home cooking and made the best of it. Again very happy with everything at Ultra Braodbeach and a special thanks to the girls at reception

This is an excellent apartment hotel. The flat was wonderful. We took a two bedroomed apartment. Each bedroom is a self contained unit with own bathroom tv etc. There is a very large fully equipped dining room and kitchen, The soundproofing is excellent- we heard a noisy party when we arrived but in the room could not hear a single thing. The only issue we had was that the late check in was not smooth. We had to dial a number and were put on hold for 7 minutes at 11PM. I would suggest sending the guests a code to safe to collect key rather than relying on outside service. Besides that the service was fine

The apartment we stayed in was fantastic and clean. It was in a great location being walking distance to all Broadbeach restaurants, shops and the beach. The pool was fantastic and big enough to swim laps. The amount of crockery , cutlery and utensils was extremely minimalistic. BUT. We were advised of the possibility of construction noise on the west side of the building. This was nothing compared to the horrendous construction noise on the east side of the building. Heavy machinery and foundation drilling noise was a constant. For our entire stay, we were unable to sit on our balcony overlooking the ocean due to the noise until about 5.00 in the afternoon. This construction would start at 6.30 in the morning (with the exception of Sunday) and was extremely intrusive. Fortunately we experienced great weather for our stay so we were able to spend time at the beach for some serenity. Reluctantly would NOT recommend staying at these apartments while construction is occurring to the east…

However the construction on the east side of the building has been shut down until further notice at this stage. Another great stay at Ultra. Thank you Lindy and Jane. The staff are extremely friendly and offer great advice if required. Always a smile on your face Jane!! The apartment was very spacious, cleanliness was top notch and the kitchen was so well equipped. The pool was a huge hit with my granddaughter. Shops restaurants parks and beach all a short walking distance. Highly recommend for your next trip to Gold Coast. Flying in and you don't want to hire a car Catch the airport local bus outside the arrival gates and drops you right at South Broadbeach Station. 5 minute walk to Ultra front door. We will be back. What a wonderful mini break we have just returned from! Our family of six had two separate apartments and both were spot on. My parents were on the 7th floor and loved their spotlessly clean and well-appointed apartment with a view of the ocean. The four of us had a 3-bedroom apartment on the 29th floor and it was spectacular! Great views from every room - we could see whales throughout the day. Even my husband who loves going out for dinner, was completely relaxed about having takeaway and enjoying the views from our wonderful apartment. Staff here are extremely friendly and accommodating. One small downside was that there weren’t enough tea bags (two) or toilet rolls (two for three toilets) but I’m sure if we’d mentioned this, it would have been dealt with. It certainly didn’t detract in the slightest from our stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ultra Broadbeach and can’t wait to return ourselves!…

We stayed at Ultra until today. Sadly due to covid we have had to cut the trip short, but I honestly cannot believe how helpful and understanding this apart-hotel is. I cannot recommend Ultra enough to anyone going to briadbeach. Excellent rooms, brilliant pool and spa, and Jane at the front desk is just a pleasure and cannot do enough for anyone. Thank you Ultra, and when covid lockdowns are a thing of the past we will be back.
