Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very central location to Broadbeach shops, Pacific Fair and the beach; all within a 10 minute walk. Also handy to transport. The accommodation was very clean, beds very comfortable, well looked after pool, in the heart of Surfers Paradise living. Air con in both bedrooms and living area. Caters well to family. Friendly service with a smile.

Great Location in Broadbeach. Friendly service. However needs an update. The bed was a bit hard. Lift was a bit wobbly and pool not working. We were not told about this upon arrival. Very noisey. Heard a fight early morning from either neighbors or upstairs. Bedroom needed aircon.

My daughter and I stayed here for 7 nights in the School holidays, the room was comfortable and well equipped. Kitchen had everything required as well as a full size fridge. We stayed in a 1 bedroom loft so there was plenty of room upstairs and downstairs and the bed were very comfortable. There is a pool and plenty of undercover parking and only a 10 minute walk to Broadbeach shops and restaurants, The Star casino and Pacific Fair. We did have a problem with our downstairs air-conditioner breaking down however they did have it looked at that day and moved us to another room when it couldn't be fixed immediately. The hosts were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for nice accommodation and at reasonable price.

What a great place to stay, great location, across the road from Pacific Fair, walking distance to eateries. & the beach.Clean, tidy, friendly & Rex & Amber & family went out of their way for us, as we had 14 people staying there for this year's Pan Pac games, nothing was to much for them. It was just down the road from where we were playing. Would recommend to stay there, you also have double entrance, which was great as we had a bus & Rex even went out of his way & helped with it. Could not be happier.

Reception - checking in was made easy and felt most welcomed at the desk. Friendly staff. It is an older building but clean, beds and pillows where amazing. Great location, walk to most venues, shopping. Casino right opposite, Pacific Fair over the road and many fine cafes restaurants. Car parking which is a bonus.

U405 Great position walking distance to Pacific Fair, Casino and beach. Kitchen well appointed with all you could need. Ice containers in freezer cracked and need replacing. Bedding needs updating. Beds were super uncomfortable and pillows had as much substance as tissue paper, only one blanket with torn edge binding for two beds. I tried putting towel under pillow for support. Ended up having to get up around 3am each night and tried to sleep on 2 seater vinyl lounge. Not good at all and back is still recovering. Also will mention no window in bedroom making it feel claustrophobic.

This hotel is surrounded by other expensive hotels so it has a niche. Location is good, the decor is dated, a little musty but the value is there in comparison. Car park is adequate. Accomodation was on the top floor, 7th, which was made up of two floors with lounge below and bedroom in the upper. Bed was actually quite comfortable and big. Nice view and plenty of room. It was a good stay.

Was very disappointed when I got a text message from the staff saying they'll be deducting a $50 cleaning fee due to "the floor being messy" we cleaned the room as best we could with what we had. There was no mop or broom provided in the room, staff said "we should have used a wet towel to clean up a couple of split drinks on the tiles" I find that to be extremely unhygienic as those towels they're referring to are meant to be used for yourself after a shower. Also in the cleaning policy it states that we must clean our own dishes, there is no dishwashing liquid provided which also screams unhygienic because how would they know when guests stay there that the glasses, cutlery, plates are getting cleaned properly. Was happy with the room but very disappointed that we have a cleaning fee because of a couple sticky split drinks on the floor. Will not be recommending it or staying there as I find it to be cheap and nasty.

We are very dissapointed you feel like that, unfortunatly the additional cleaning fees need to be passed on and the cleaners comments to us was (filthy) so when you say a couple of drinks that was an understatement, how someone can leave a room in that state is beyond me and a simple call to the office before you departed could have solved this. Not only was the floor a filthy sticky mess all around you had removed pictures from the walls and moved all the furniture. You signed our policy which states we have a No Party policy and chose to ignore that, we also had complaints from neighbors below about cigarette butts landing on their balcony which again is mentioned in our smoking policy. You did say you were going to give us a bad review but we do hope you learn a lesson here and abide by the policies you agreed to treat the room the same as you would your own home.

Stayed here on a family holiday for just under a week before heading to Maroochydore. The room was a good size and the bedrooms were positioned down the far end - useful for night time when the kids need to sleep and the adults want to watch TV! Rooms were clean, good kitchen facilities and the view was nice as we were up near the top. Location was great, right by the beach and walking distance to the city shops; also some great restaurants literally right outside the hotel. You wouldn’t come here to experience luxury accommodation, but it does cater well for families.
