We stayed in Unit 14D for a 2 night weekend recently. The 2 bedroom unit was clean, spacious and furnished nicely with great views north towards Surfers Paradise through east to the beach and west to the mountains.

The unit was very close to the Broadbeach shopping and eating precinct (without being on top of it) and right across the road to the beach and the park. Kurrawa Surf Club was just a few hundred metres away.

The only "not quite so positive" comments we could make are that the apartment is a little dated fixtures and fittings wise (I've not seen a chocolate brown bathtub and vanity basins for quite a number of years) but everything worked fine. Importantly, water pressure was good and plenty of hot water.

The bedroom TV had a reception problem that required a bit of fiddling with the cable. This may have been because the TV cable can be knocked by the curtains behind it.

We'd also ask that guests are allocated only their apartment's parking spot rather than allowing them to park in any spot not marked as a resident owner's. We came home on the Saturday evening (not too late) and couldn't find a single park that wasn't marked as an owner's. Luckily, while we were looking for a spot, someone came out and left, enabling us to park underneath. Otherwise we'd have had to park on the street. If one stays in 14D, only you can park in 14D for your whole stay.

We booked the accommodation through Booking.com and everything went smoothly for us at a very reasonable rate.

We'd happily recommend this accommodation to others.

Hi P4283MAmartins, thank you for your very informative review. It is unfortunate some of our owners are yet still to renovate their apartment but hoping on your return visit you book one of our Superior Apartments or Premium Apartments as you will not be disappointed. A little more in dollars but totally worth it. Thank you for recommending our accommodation to others, much appreciated. Kind Regards Pam (Resort Manager)

We stayed in Apartment 15A back in 2019 and we loved it then, but our visit recently made us speechless. It has had the most beautiful and stylish makeover with upholstered bedheads, cushions and lamps, custom artwork, beautiful timber upholstered chairs, updated bathroom vanities, plantation shutters in the bedrooms, just WOW!
I can see why this apartment is now classified as "Premium". Not all apartments are the same as they're individually owned and not all have been refurbished. You definitely get what you pay for.
Beach Haven has undergone a massive refurbishment of all apartment balconies, windows and doors and the western pool has been transformed from a tired looking area to what looks like a resort now. You can't beat the location. Or the view.
We will be back without a doubt.

Staying in 29F, location is perfect and so close to everything you need. This unit is renovated, sophisticated simplicity. The wrap around balcony gives you 3 different views-mountains,city and ocean, just superb.
3 separate air cons in both bedrooms and lounge, 2 lovely large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms with an added bonus of a bath.
Staff were lovely and helpful on arrival even though we arrived out of hours. A handy arrival pack was left for us with some goodies for our first night, a pleasant surprise. Everything you need is in the kitchen for cooking etc.
The 3 pools are fantastic and water temperature was perfect.
We are absolutely loving our stay here and will be back most certainly. Have stayed in other apartments on Broadbeach over the years but this one takes the cake.

Stayed here recently for a 3 night 4 day stopover on
Our way to Brisbane.

Generally speaking an extremely unpleasant experience.

Excessive noise from construction works which meant you couldn’t even have a moment peaceful rest during yr stay.

Apartment was in very average condition highlighted by

*Balcony doors that wouldn’t open - ceased shut due to excessive salt corrosion. Much more week to week or month to month inspection / maintenance required

*The master bedroom appeared to have not been cleaned properly for quite a few weeks if not a few months.

Room was excessively dirty and dust ridden in places with levels you would only see after neglect for long periods.

I have attached photographic evidence of this.

I asked staff upon checkout about the noise.

Staff claim there are warnings on the confirmation which I have now reviewed and reread several times with NO EVIDENCE of this.

Was quite ironic when I went to post my review I saw almost a dozen terrible reviews and almost half saying rooms / apartments weren’t clean

That should say enough about the level standards of their cleaning staff and what they consider as professionally presented

Would not stay again.

I hesitated to write a review because after looking on here I couldn’t see any negative reviews but we really weren’t that happy with our stay. The view was incredible but the room was very average. The furniture was completely different to the pictures that were posted on booking.com, they were old and run down. The bathroom didn’t have an exhaust and kind of flooded when we had a shower. The location is great, right on the beach and close to cafes and restaurants but was just expecting a little bit more for the price we paid.

Weirdly and disappointingly, the apartment we stayed in on level 24 felt like we were still at Dracula's where we took our adult children, who live on the Gold Coast, the night before. It had dark charcoal carpet, a monstrous black leather lounge and a pretty tasteless glass dining table with awkward, heavy black leather chairs. Looked like something our grandmas would have chosen 20 years ago thinking it was 'modern'. Add to this the dark net curtains and it seriously felt like we were visiting the Addams Family, not a breezy, beachy holiday place like we expected and paid for. Also, the whole building looks old and run down and has tried to be fixed but with cheap fittings in the corridors. The reception desk looks like its from the 1970s. Apart from the fact designers need to be called in to properly fix the place, the worst things in the common areas apart from the extreme loudness of people waiting for the lifts outside our room, and the children screaming up and down the corridors, are the lifts - not only grotty - they are seriously scary. We overpaid for this horrible experience and won't be back.

I booked a fully renovated superior 2 bedroom apartment only to be given a half renovated standard room.

When i complained i was told that they were fully booked and couldn't move me. I asked for a refund for the difference between the 2 rooms only to be told that the manager was new, didn't know room configurations and to email them a copy of my booking and they would get back to me.

10 days have passed and still no response from them and the same excuse everytime.

We were so displeased with the status of the room with a further excuse that the room is fully refurbished and not renovated which was not what we paid for.

The room was old and well and truly outdated and the pictures do not match the rooms at all!

We ended up booking another hotel for the same price and were much happier.

The staff are extremely unhelpful and deflect with excuses of being new and not knowing room configurations!

I will never stay here again!

Our room was high but well positioned with beach views. The hotel is currently undergoing major works so the property does have some inconveniences to it. You can see that the property is dated and needs the upgrade. Our apartment was lovely but was on the average side. The furnishings were comfortable but not quality. The furniture is badly needing an update as they were worn on the edges and overall didn't feel clean. The kitchen was adequate even though we only had one wine glass in the cupboard! During COVID, check in and out should be staggered as the influx of people using lifts means a long wait to get up and down to reception or the car park. Or alternatively, people are adhering to social distancing in the lifts as they are frustrated on the long wait. I also found that the noise from the street below is quite prominent. Despite our apartment being on the 20+ floor, you can still hear cars, buses, trucks easily and from an early start. This dampened our overall experience as I was hoping to sit back and relax. I also found that the apartments on either side of us can see directly into our apartment - so be cautious to close bedroom blinds or curtains - not ideal when you are keen to see the view. Overall this was the least favourite stay I have been in for some time.

We spent a week in a 2 bed ocean view apartment. It was on the 9th floor and had been recently refurbished. We were so impressed. The ocean view was wonderful, the decor was lovely. Our friends had the apartment next door and although not recently refurbished, it was awesome too-different layout to ours and the view was even better. The property is super well maintained, the pool / BBQ / tennis court area out the back was brilliant. Location was great-a 2 minute walk to restaurants, one street from the mall and directly across the road from a park which led to the beach. Staff were fab too. Really helpful when I misplaced our apartment keycard and the late checkout was helpful. We will definitely be back.

We booked this through Bookings but next visit we will book direct… and there will definitely be a next time. Checkin was easy and Kelly on reception went out of way to make us comfortable and happy from the start. 12A was 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment on the 12 th floor with ocean views that stretched from Coolangatta to Broadbeach and beyond. The views were spectacular from nearly every window. The apartment was well stocked and the bed comfortable. The complex is walking distance to everywhere there is a bit of construction noise but that can’t be avoided anywhere on the Gold Coast. There are three swimming pools and a fantastic new bbq are and tennis courts all this directly across coronavirus park and beach. Highly recommend this place free security carpark and welcome pack
