Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here over the weekend. Probably the worst place I've ever stayed. Booked through Broadbeach Holiday Apartments. Bathroom doors hanging off, mold in shower, doors splintering, shower doors broken, toilet flushed all night, outdoor furniture probably 50 years old, loud and noisy complex. Phoned complex managers they couldn't really care less.

Booked a hotel room (said 4 star) for a 2 night stay (Friday and Saturday night) Picked up my wife early from work to avoid Friday afternoon Brisbane to Gold Coast traffic. Checked into room, my wife wanted to complete work related matters, but no internet for WIFI. Staff at Broadbeach Holiday Apartments said that they would organise repairs to modem. Selected this accommodation because of central location to our needs. Location perfect for Friday night catch up with friends, central to church wedding and reception on Saturday and with numerous places for brekkie each morning. Room decor was worn out 1980's style, but reasonably clean. Patio had cigarette butts and unclean, and absolutely no view at all, just tall overgrown plants. Shower cubicle had no where for soap and shampoo to sit, it would appear that others before us had left their containers on top of shower screen door framework, and still there! Found that central power points in room would not charge mobiles, laptop or heat up iron, eventually found used power points behind bed. Late night, local club noise (duf, duf, duf, boom, boom, boom) was unbeleivable, used rolled up tissue paper in our ears to block out noise for sleep after midnight. Early morning yelling and conversation from room 1108A was loud. This room was definitely not 4 star, possibly 2 star, false advertising? Appreciated assistance from Broadbeach Holiday Apartment staff to rectify internet modem by Saturday afternoon. Entry to car park is via a one way lane. At the beginning of the one way lane is a night club, look out for drunken young adults in lane way and police cars blocking the lane way attending to misbehaving drunks on at least Friday and Saturday nights.

Stayed with my wife and another friend also stayed with his wife over the Easter long weekend. The moment we sat on the lounge we felt so itchy so we had to sit on the floor, my friends apartment was the same. When we slept in the bed it also had some reaction as the lounge, there must be bugs in this place. Felt absolutely gross stay here so we checked out early over the break. Probably spend a little extra next time and go stay at the Hilton.

Perfect for families and couples. Location in Phoenician Resort. Over the road from Star Casino and Pacific Fair shopping centre. Large outdoor area with a bbq. Lots of sun loungers. Indoor and outdoor pool, also kids pool. Jacuzzi, sauna and gym. Also games arcade. Broadbeach Holiday Apartments office downstairs external you the building. Very friendly staff and good instructions. Surrounded by bars and restaurants, close to the beach. Would definitely recommend if you want a great location, for or both families and couples.

Stayed for 3 nights to attend a Birthday Party at the nearby Valentino's Rest. The 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment located within the Phoenician complex but handle sepersately by BBHA was very spaciuos with excellent Ocean Views from balcony. The staff at BBHA were extremely friendly and obliging. Although located within the heart of the Broadbeach night life area there was very little noise to complain about. The apartment was spacious well laid out with a very pleasant décor' with more than ample storage . The shower had extremely good water pressure unusual for apartment buildings. Plenty of eating establishments within walking distance with great variety to choose from. Excellent relaxing stay and well worth a revisit in the future.
