We initially thought we had made a big mistake in coming here as we didn’t realise this place is not a hotel but apartments owned by all different people. When our room started filling up with the strong smell of garlic and food being cooked we assumed it was someone having a barbecue on their balcony below us. We decided from now on to double check we weren’t booking into an apartment block instead of a hotel but couldn’t understand why the strong smell continued for half the night and was also entering our room in the morning. When we went out for breakfast we discovered the strong stink was coming from a Mexican takeaway place on street level. So the smell must be permanent. How can they get away with that? It ruined our stay and any chance of returning.

We have stayed at this hotel over 10 times and we love it. Not only are the amenities 5 star but it is truely the staff that is the biggest asset. The manager Kevin goes above and beyond to help. There were a few issues with out room during our last stay and the manager stepped in personally and fixed it immediately. We were very impressed - and that is why we returned the next year! Thank you again Kevin and Staff!

Paid $1200 a night. Don’t think it’s worth it. In the welcome pack they tout how great their cleaning is but it’s far from the truth. Mould in showers, fingerprints everywhere, rust behind the sinks, a lot of dust behind the TV, vents, etc. The fixtures and fittings looks like it’s 15 plus years old. The TV has so much lag, makes it hard to use. The remote looks like it’s been chewed and spat out by a dog. The Darling hotel a few hundred metres away, even their cheapest $800 per night suites are far superior. The Darling is Very clean and service befitting of its price. Not so peppers Broadbeach. The Darling had complimentary drinks, fully stocked fridge, range of complimentary snacks and free vanity kits. None of this at Peppers, not even water. Not worth the price.

I absolutely normally love peppers, probably the best place to stay in the heart if Broadbeach. A quick walk will get you to the beach and all of my favourite restaurants. Mamasan, Moomoos, Mecca Bah, Gemilli just to name a few. Shopping g at Pacific Fair is awesome and an easy walk. I only gave 3 stars as my apartment number 905 did not have window coverings on the lounge room window so we were woken every morning at 5am. Not ideal for us, plus the aircon in bedroom was barely working and so had to leave door to bedroom open …. Housekeeping comes between 10 and 4 but twice were late and I told them not to bother… no big deal but when your paying roughly $5000 for 1 week you expect more. This is more about the unit owners not complying, peppers had no idea about the window curtains

Disappointing stay at peppers Oracle at Broadbeach Queensland. Whilst the hotel cannot help with the weather, we had a very disappointing stay during the Christmas 2021 break. We felt that the hotel is not up to standard with respect to keeping the rooms clean. There was blood stains at the bottom of one of the beds, drains clogged and not working properly, a lack of cleanliness when the rooms were serviced (we paid for for every day). The housekeeping service did not wear masks when required. They did not want to change the sheets every day and they did not want to mop or vacuum the floors or clean the tables. The room did not have enough amenities with respect to kitchen utilities and we needed to buy a Breville machine, frying pan, knife and cutlery set. To pay a premium price over the Christmas break it is disappointing that we did not get the service we had expected. We would never attend this facility again and never use this kitchen again. I would recommend not staying at this hotel.
