Spent three nights in unit 33 thirteenth floor.
Beautiful apartment and excellent views.Location was brilliant, walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach, casino and surf club.
The only negative was that there were certain essentials that a holiday rental should provide that were missing,eg dishcloths, tea towels, tissues, hair dryer and sachets for dishwasher and washing machine.
We also had a problem with the washing machine,it just jumped around the entire laundry.
The positives totally out weighed the little negatives.

Apartment 41 on the 17th floor was beautiful with excellent views of the beach, park and Broadbeach. Very quiet considering close location to everything. Pool is not heated in winter as stated on the website but apartment is otherwise very large and well equipped with a lovely master bedroom, walk-in wardrobe and huge ensuite with spa bath. GCHR are definitely all about the money as although we found the ladies at the office polite and helpful, you are expected to pay in full a month before arriving and there are penalties listed everywhere for almost every misdemeanour which makes you a bit edgy that you don't forget to take out a bin when trying to catch your plane at 5.30am! Austar wasn't working at the time either as advertised.

The location of the Verve is quite good, located 2 short blocks from the main Broadbeach mall and directly across the road to the Beach. The views of the beach were outstanding.

The apartment was modern clean and large however was lacking in a number of areas. The 3 bedrooms were really only 2 and the 3rd room originally a study had two single beds however there was no wardrobe, drawers etc. The pool is located in the front of the building but is not overly inviting and the water cold. We had to arrange to pick up keys to the apartment from an offsite manager which was not ideal. There is no Wifi in the apartment. For the price we paid, we have received superior quality and service. I would not stay at the Verve apartments next time we visit the Gold Coast.

We rental the advertised 'five star' apartment through Gold Coast Property Rentals. The Verve is a wonderful building, great location and brilliant views however the holiday was ruined by the following:
1) The Verve is predominatly a residential block and you receive hostile vibes from many of the residents including the caretakers wife! not pleasant.
2) On the Boxing day we had relatives travelling to see us for a barbcue. We were informed on the morning of that visit by the caretakers wife that there was no gas available!
In the apartment we found;
3) towels with wear holes in them
4) bed linen with wear holes in them
5) the rooms contained a great deal of dust and rubbish around the floors
6) the shower flooded and we had to clean out the drain
7) we paid for two weeks interent facilities which stopped working half way through

If you can put up with the hostile residents I would thouroughly recommend the Verve as it is located near to all the facilities you need, shops, restuarants, beach etc.

I would definately not recommend anyone book through Gold Coast Property Services. They advertised this apartment as a five star resort and gave us 1 star services. When advised of the issues their response was simply ' you should have called us and we would have rectified the issues '. I may be wrong but when I pay for a five star service, I expect that service, I do not consider that it should be my responsibility to go around an apartment find the faults and have to report them on a daily basis to GCPR! I would consider that it is their responsibility to furnish the apartment to a five star standard in the first place!
Although the rental ad stated that internet access was available, this is by payment of $75 for two weeks. This I paid in order to keep in contact with relatives back in the UK. The only problem was the service stopped Christmas eve!
photos will be added in due course

I have stayed in a lot of apartments around Australia , we booked through a company that took reservations on behalf of owners(Gold Coast Rental Properties) there was absolutely no flexibility when we wanted to stay 1 less night even though we gave them 2 months notice, we were met at 7.00 at night on the street handed the keys and told there would be a $30 call out fee even though they were 20 minutes late. The apartment (2 bedroom) was small, poor seating and no way was it luxurios. If you are after a good pool this is not the place for you, shallow , small and cold. Althogh located well dont stay here there are far better apartments than this. Very expensive for what you get. Avoid like the plague!!!!!!

Where do I begin, stayed at Verve Apt January 2013 for 9 nights, great location great views and good size apartment. The pool is shallow 1m to 1.1m and cold and not suitable for young families who like to simply have some fun as the local residents don't enjoy noise, especially the guy on the fifth floor throwing his cigarette butts off his balcony. Gold Coast rental properties were great to book me in and take my money one month before. Then found out that I had to pick the keys up from a different location and don't be late because you will be charged extra if it over time. Got a call the day before we checked in asking what time we were getting there as they thought we were coming the 14th not the 15th. On day one I realised what was promised was not delivered the sound system was locked away but there were instructions on the buffet on how to use it, Austar was only a basic package, the refrigerator was making ice but not dispensing it, the Internet was very slow or not working at all, Austar had no audio, the apartment was quite dirty ie the toaster, coffee machine, clothes dryer, dirty floors after informing GCRP they sent over a staff member he did fix the audio on Austar and was informed that the other things will be fixed, nothing was done.

We rented a 2 bed apartment in the Verve, Broadbeach and it was fab. The apartment was modern, clean and very comfortable.

The kitchen was well equipped including dishwasher & granite worktops, and there was also a washing machine and tumble dryer. There was a bath and large walk in shower in the fully tiled ensuite and a large second bathroom. We also had a reserved parking space in the basement carpark, free local phone calls, and the rubbish chute in the lift lobby on our floor made our day! (simple pleasures....)

The location was perfect - within easy walking distance of the oasis and pacific fair shopping centres, with all the restaurants, casino, parks and beach, and bus stops to theme parks just a couple of blocks away.

Our apartment had 180 degree ocean views, being situated across the road from the park on Old Burleigh Road. It was also extremely quiet and peaceful - you would have no idea of all the hustle and bustle and construction work that was going on all around.

We had two pre-school aged children with us and managed fine with public transport and a double stroller, visiting the theme parks by bus, and walking to and from Surfer's Paradise.

The apartment probably wasn't ideal for kids so young (2 and 3.5) as we spent the first couple of days removing all the designer knick knacks to head height cupboards and praying they wouldn't smack themselves on the various glass tables. The front door to the apartment was locked on the inside by a knob and not a key so probably more ideal if your kids are at least school age, or perhaps more obedient than ours are!

We would definitely stay here again as we couldn't fault the apartment at all. Next time we would probably buy a weekly bus pass rather than pay for individual trips though, or arrange some kind of airport transfer/theme park/bus ride deal of which there seemed to be an abundance.

We used the airtrain connect from brisbane airport and although that was cheap and great fun for the kids on the way there, we ended up returning to the airport by private car as the door to door service was much more convenient.

We would thoroughly recommend you visit Alto restaurant at the Oasis shopping centre at least once fairly early on in your stay as chances are you'll want to return several times - we can highly recommend the salsa night on a sunday.

We have stayed at Verve before in a 3 bedroom executive apartment which was a good size as it had additional office space/living area. This apartment was lovely however the management were very unorganised. We had arranged for special bedding ie. cot for my baby and this was not delivered until I complained that it was not there. The internet was also not working in the apartment even though we had paid for it and although it had been cleaned the apartment was still dirty.
We decided we would stay at Verve again, mostly because of the location. Once again the management (ie the reception staff) were not very friendly. We found the apartment to be well presented although there was some mould in the shower of the main bathroom.I called to complain about something not working and the response I got was if I wanted immediate service I should stay in a 5 star hotel not a holiday rental. If I were the owners of this property I would really look at the management. As an owner of multiple properties I would expect better service from the management staff I am employing. It is a shame for the owner of this property. I would prefer to rent directly from the owners then to deal with this rental agency again.

Stayed for 12 nights in a 3 bedroom (although I think it may have been a 2+ study, not that it mattered). What can I say? The views were worth the money alone, the apartment was spacious enough and had all the necessary amenities. Found any residents we met very friendly, and thought the service of Gold Coast Propety Rentals very good. I rang them late one afternoon about problems with the internet, someone was there first thing next morning replacing it. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer!!!!!!!

Book with GC property rentals and service from them was courteous. Could not ask for more since they handed me the keys to check in as soon as the contract cleaner gave it to them. A small inconvenience in that there isnt a front desk onsite but GCPR is only a short walk from the location of the apartment.
The apartment is well maintained given the age. Fully stocked kitchen.
When we stayed occupancy in broad beach was low with verve being less than 20 percent And peppers being less than 10 percent. Only Socorro and jupiters were busy
I paid $160 per night to stay in the 2 bed apartment which is very cheap
