We came to eat fish. Snoock was our choice of fish. The best we got was from the fish & chips in the harbour. Sorry to say but the management is out of touch with marketing the location. You must at all times promote local fish.

We booked according to Booking.com a family room with carpets. We were very disappointed with the room we were actually given. It was extremely tired and old and in need of a makeover. No carpets. The bed was a small double which we find very uncomfortable to sleep in. No attention to detail - had to ask for milk and...

We were so impressed with the menu at the St Helena Hotel that we ate there two nights in a row! It's not huge but perfectly adequate. The mussel pot for starters was simply delicious and the seafood platter for two was also good - the crayfish delicious and fresh. On the second evening we had lamb chops and chateaubriand...

The stay was OK. Service from staff is poor. Nobody in charge to supervise staff. You often have to go look for somebody to assist you. Went to have dinner. No staff member in sight for 10 minutes. Was told by one staff member that there was a bikers dinner on that night, so there was no place for us...

We were impressed with the room. The room was nice and clean. The air conditioner was working, very appreciated for the hot weather outside. Peaceful at night. Had a lovely dinner at the hotel. The Dstv was more than enough for our expectations. Friendly staff who were helpful when request assistance

The food and service were adequate but several items were not available. The recent revamp has helped, but don't encourage people to sit outside when someone is using a belt sander, as it prevents a lovely terrace being used. Pub looks great.

We stayed in a renovated luxury 2 bedroom en suite chalet. Although we can't comment on other rooms or facilities at the hotel the chalet was more than we expected. Two very spacious bedrooms both with large en suite bathrooms, large lounge/dining area and well equipped kitchen. Also a large patio with built in barbeque area. The chalet is very...

overall the room was nice and clean. We did not like the open-plan bathroom although its was very big and shower massage fittings made up for the lack of privacy. Our room was right opposite the staircase so lots of noise from guests
