We arrived at Christchurch Airport after a 10-hour flight, picked up our car and drove to Amberley to spend a night at Kokiri B&B before heading on to Kaikoura. Pat and Graham Shaw are such warm and welcoming hosts. Pat told us the one thing we needed to know about New Zealand was that everything is relaxed and everyone's casual...

gorgeous gardens, great continental breakfast (several home made jams and preserved fruits) and fabulous playground for kids across the street. very quiet. everything very clean. home made cookies and beautiful bouquet of flowers were awaiting us. would suit couple or family of up to 5 though could feel crowded with that many. We had two kids and it was fine.

The bedroom turned out to be a complete suite with sittign room, kitchenette and verandah - all immaculately presented. Pat was delightful and made us very welcome. Breakfast with Pat...

My husband, 2 children (12 & 9 yrs.), & I stayed at the Kokiri Bed and Breakfast for our last 2 nights in New Zealand from 1- 3 April. Pat and Graham gave us a warm welcome and the accommodations were lovely. Freshly cut hydrangea were even put in the room for our arrival. The room had a separate ensuite,...
