Went here for 1 year anniversary with my wife. The place was very relaxing. The food was great especially the room service breakfast. We love the free pass to Algonquin Park. It was very beautiful this time of the year. I highly recommend this place. We look forward for another visit.

Another great stay, weather is unpredictable in September but even with rain the colours are on view. After a damp day a hot tub with the view and a gourmet dinner warms you up. Nature surrounds you and traditional furnishings fit the location. A great place to get away from it all but have the comfort of some romantic features....

I am so very glad you enjoyed your fall getaway. Algonquin is beautiful this time of year. The fall rains and the cool nights only enhance the time spent curled up by the fire or relaxing in the hot tub. We look forward to seeing you again.

We decided to go to this resort after seeing it on the Internet, plus our friends who had stayed there before said it was such a lovely place. Also what we saw on the Internet really impresses us, so we thought yes we will book it. Well we arrived on the 1st September and to be honest first impressions were...

Not all 5 Stars are created equal around the World. I am sorry that you could not read what was so plain to see. The website and book in the room are very clear that the pool closes on Labour Day, no mention of middle September. The solar panels do not provide enough heat for the pool as the angle...

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights for our 24th wedding anniversary. The room (Masters) was beautiful and so well equipped we were tempted to never leave it. We are glad we went to dinner as the experience, service and food were fantastic. Our servers were attentive with out being over attentive, the selection was great and the food...

So glad your Anniversary weekend getaway was a good one. We totally understand the temptation to never leave the Master suite. And that’s awesome. Sometimes total seclusion is a great idea for couples who need that time to get away and reconnect. We try to offer something for everyone. We are glad you felt so spoiled and look forward to...

We have been going to Couples Resort for 20years.Spa villas replaced little red cedar cabins .Name changed from Bear Trail.John took over from dad,Fritz. My husband and I spent a week here for our first year anniversary in May. We got very lucky and the weather was really nice. Even though it was a little cooler, it was very sunny the entire time we were there. The staff were friendly and helpful, there are lots of activities and we had a very lovely view...

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. May is a wonderful time of year here. Things are just coming alive in the Park. A great time for hiking before it gets too hot. We are glad you enjoyed your time. On your return visit be sure to book your free spa treatment

This was our first visit to the Couples resort and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The privacy of the rooms with a lake view and large balcony were very welcome. The decor is a bit dated, but very clean. We took advantage of the tennis ( courts are older), canoeing and hiking. It was lovely to get dressed for dinner. They...
