Since the very first moment you arrive you feel like coming home! Vlad is the best, kindest, warmest, and generous host you can ask for. He gives you as a local the best recs on restaurants, beaches, eco tours, and anything you want to do outside the hotel.
This petit hotel, has the very best location for the views and being away from downtown nightlife noise, but close enough to walk to it (if you want to). The view is just breathtaking, and if you're lucky enough to catch the whale season, you can see them jumping off the water and the water plumes from the main palapa and the pool.
All in the rooms is just perfectly taken care of, like the bamboo shower, faucets made of wood, the most comfortable mattress and pillows. Everything is perfectly clean and beautiful.
Every morning you'll be delighted with Josefina's cooking, she makes under Vlad's supervision the very BEST home made chorizo that I ever had in my life. Also every staff member y so sweet and kind.
I'm just so thankful that me and my wife were lucky enough to find a room available for our 5 day trip to Mazunte.

I spent a week at the hotel with a small group of friends. The location is wonderful with a gorgeous view of the jungle, the ocean and truly unforgettable sunsets.
The common areas are beautiful and functional with a great lounging area and a dining table where fresh, Mexican-style food is served by a very friendly and helpful staff.
The pool is gorgeous, with a inlaid stone floor, and surprisingly fresh when the sun is blaring and surprisingly warm when the sun sets down.
The four well-separated cabins are fresh and spacious, with a gorgeous view of the jungle below that you can enjoy from an enormous shower. Waking up there every morning was something special.
I will be definitely coming back very soon.

I stayed at Las Almas with three friends for 4 days the first week of December, the experience exceeded our expectations. Every morning we enjoyed a fresh, healthy delicious breakfast prepared with top quality ingredients. Breakfast was enjoyed in a gorgeous open air space where you can sit back and enjoy a view that that ignites passion for Mother Earth.
The rooms have a very tasteful minimalistic feel with super comfortable bedding. There are fans above the beds to help when the weather is warm and a full surrounding net to ensure safety from potential bug bites. I enjoyed watching the sunrise over the water from the bed, such a special experience.
Our gracious host Vlad, arranged for a masseuse to provide us each with a relaxing 90 minute massage, shared tasteful recommendations, arranged outings and most importantly made Las Almas feel like our home.
Las Almas is great for solo travelers, couples as well as groups! I definitely plan to utilize the beautiful Las Almas in the future.

My husband and I were so happy and comfortable at Las Almas. The grounds and rooms are beautiful and very well-kept, with gorgeous and thoughtful touches that surround you with beauty and serenity. The location is lovely, the views are incredible, and the hotel is very quiet and peaceful.
Vlad is the host with the most! He made us feel like we were visiting an old friend. His hospitality abounded throughout our stay. He made sure we had plenty to do, made arrangements for us to get massages at the hotel, took us snorkeling, invited us to yoga each morning, gave us recommendations, and more. The breakfast was sooo delicious (the chef is incredible!) and there was no shortage of cool drinks and tasty snacks when we were relaxing at the hotel. You will not be disappointed if you choose Las Almas as your home away from home.

I absolutely loved staying here. Las Almas is a small hotel with only a could of rooms, which makes it feel like you're staying in someone's home. Vladimir, the owner, is the most amazing host. He took us on a snorkeling trip to a nearby beach, and served us some of the most delicious seafood I've ever tasted in my life. The food at Las Almas is incredible, in general - breakfast with homemade break and granola as well as Mexican delicacies, and dinners are out of this world also. Better than the local restaurants. We spent a day just lounging in the common area, dipping into the pool, listening to music and enjoying the incredible view - it was heaven. Also, the rooms are super cute. Small palapas with very comfortable beds. All in all, my favorite hotel in Mexico by far.

I just got back from an amazing stay at Las Almas and cannot wait to come back! Vlad is an incredible host with a great heart and energy, his house is gorgeous and the food is amazing (he even taught me how to make the sourdough bread they serve at breakfast).
I also met some incredible people there (friends of Vlad and guests) which made me feel at home and made my time in Mazunte even better. The rooms are super comfortable and beautiful, I felt like sleeping on a cloud. My stay would definitely have not been the same if I had stayed somewhere else. Vlad even took me to an incredible yoga class with him and was always taking care of me.
Vlad, I really hope to see you in Colombia soon. Thank you so much for your hospitality y todo el cariño.
PS. Regarding the location: I would recommend to bring comfortable shoes since you have to walk about 10 minutes to get to the Mazunte beach. Although I would suggest to skip that beach and visit some of the others around Mazunte.
I definitely recommend Las Almas for your stay in Mazunte. Heaven on earth,

My 5 friends and I had the pleasure of renting out Las Almas for 3 weeks and we could not have had a better stay. We came to Mazunte for a yoga course and had our beautiful private escape at Las Almas overlooking the ocean. Everyday we watched the sunrise and sunset over the ocean and felt the cool breeze glide over our skin. we enjoyed breakfast each morning with tropical fruits, scrambled eggs, coffee and fresh vegetables. The 4 cabanas were perfect - extremely comfortable beds with little fans inside for extra comfort. Fell asleep to the sounds of nature and woke up to the sounds of birds and roosters. Extremely happy with our long stay here - highly recommend to groups of friends or families looking to rent out a larger space. The pool is ideal for night swims under the stars and we enjoyed our walks to town for dinners. Vlad and the staff were extremely accommodating. Lucky to have stayed here! The photos don’t really do this place justice.

Simple and elegant, the hotel is a charming mix of traditional Oaxacan building methods and a thoughtfully planned layout. Each room is very private and tucked away yet, it is natural to feel at ease in the open common space and pool. But, it's really Vladi, the gregarious and charming owner and host, who brings the 'alma' into Las Almas Petit Hotel. Fluent in French, Spanish and English, Vladi is an amazing chef and can book you sunset paddleboarding trips, take you to local markets and has a wealth of knowledge of local activities and attractions. Look forward to outstanding breakfasts, inspirational views and chill. You won't want to leave!

Las Almas has an incredible location atop a solitary hill overlooking the sea and jungle. It was so nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of Mazunte and the nearby beaches and feel like we could just rest and relax at the pool and the large, central palapa. The highlight of Las Almas is Vlad, the host and owner, and the delicious breakfasts every morning-- consistently delicious, thoughtful, and locally inspired. The room was simple yet so well-designed (like the rest of the property), and had exactly what we needed. You really do sleep among the stars and birds and nature!

Hola Danyto. Espero haberte ayudado =)
