I went to Hostel Nagual because a friend recommended it to me and ended up staying alot longer than planned. The rooms are basic but have all you need. They offer a really good price for either a dorm or a private room depending on what you want. The kitchen is well equipped and clean and the communal space is...

Fernando is a great and accommodating manager who really helped make our stay memorable. The rooms are simple but clean. The common area and kitchen is always full of characters, laughing, smoking, cooking and eating together. The location is a little tucked away which makes it a little more quiet than other places. And of course the value is excellent!...

Lodging in shapes and sizes. This one is materially basic an happy go lucky. 2 pesos to fill your 1 liter waterbottle. Easy access key to WIFI. Open kitchen with always beautiful souls to share a table with. Beds to sleep, showers to wash yourself clean. Don't expect, don't complain, won't help and there is really no need. Flow and...

David and Fernando were awesome hosts - enthusiastic, friendly and heaps of fun. They create a really welcoming atmosphere for everyone - a great new years with a huge shared dinner then beach parties. The outside kitchen and shared areas work really well and are great for relaxing. Thanks Fernando and David - come to NZ!

I'll recomend you not to think twice and spend some days there. The...

El Nagual was perhaps our favourite hostel in all of mexico, we came for 3 days and ended up staying well over a week. The two owners are incredibly dedicated to looking after their guests and are great people that we would now call two good friends of ours. The kitchen is very well stocked, and the place sums up...
