Would not advise this place to all. On arrival, we had to go down a mile long dirt track which was like something off a horror film. Checked in early which I guess was the only highlight to our holiday. From the outside it just looked like we were staying in a shabby shed (no. 12). As we went in,...

We stayed here with our little girl and the place was literally falling apart. The shower was all cracked, the hot tub cover was all ripped and did not fit properly. The fridge was filthy when we arrived. The owner gave us a grubby business card and I felt the amount of money we paid for this was too much....

This is the second time in 4 months we have stayed at this lodge and would definitely go back again for a third time. We stopped in lodge 15 the cedar. Yes there are a few problems such as the hot tub cover being well worn and the lights not working. Also not enough batteries for the remote controls but...

People are moaning it's too far away for York it's 20 minutes I actually timed it on my phone and the satnav said 20 minutes aswell. For all those people moaning if...

So. After reading some horrible reviews on here I was actually dreading going. I don't normally write reviews but thought I would mention a few things. So the mile long road leading up to the lodges is a bit bumpy to start but then flattens out about half way. It is a typical country road so what you expect. Wasn't...

This is our 3rd time visiting and my it's really gone very downhill. The lodges have become very tired looking and how Hoseaseasons can advertise these now as 'Autograph'collection is beyond me... Originally stayed in no7 but tv was not working and ended up moving to no. 12. This lodge was filthy. Went into York and bought all cleaning items...

Lovely lodges, quiet location but close to lots of attractions; we visited York, Harrogate, Selby and York Maze. The hot tub was very relaxing after long days walking with our beagle and toddler. The only down side was the rough 1 mile driveway but it's what you expect in such an idilic location.

Had a lovely, relaxing stay at oakwood lodges. The lodge was beautiful! A little attention needed to little things, but worth a visit! We would definitely stay here again. When we arrived, the hot tub wasn't ready. An engineer was called out so we missed 2 days. Can't hold it against them. Stephanie was great help! Couldn't apologise enough. Always...

Stayed at Acorn Lodge in November lovely lodge for two but in need of some T L C. Lovely hot tub next to the little lake which was frozen over whilst we were there. Problem being no management on site and no one answering any calls to the contact number given if there were any issues arising. Would certainly recommend...
