Whilst cycling in a group of 8 from John O Groats to Lands End we have experienced some varied standards of accommodation, This was definitely one on of the best. Everything was spotlessly clean and they had thought of everything. The rooms were spacious and well appointed and although bathrooms were shared, only between 2 or 3 rooms. Breakfast was... More

This guest house is one of the best places I have stayed in, it's immaculate clean with high quality fixtures and fittings, great staff and a good quality breakfast, would put a lot of hotels to shame. Plenty of parking and easy motorway access

Had a lovely 2night stay while i tried to sort out my accommodation when i relocated to Scotland from Nigeria in 2014. Friendly lady gave me tips on how to get around. Kept my luggage for for several days till i was sorted. Room and bathroom were very neat and breakfast was great too. would definitely recommend!!

Late booking after reading good reviews and only room left was a non ensuite, but as I was arriving late and departing early, no issue. The levels of cleanliness were exceptional and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Great night's sleep in comfortable bed and arrived at breakfast to find the most attentive and friendly lady who delivered the most perfect... More

The Old School Guest House, sparkled because of the down to earth friendliness of the staff and the outstanding level of cleanliness. We enjoyed a very spacious room, with a comfortable king size bed with great reading lights a good desk, couch. The bathroom featured a large shower and a Jacuzzi! Allowing us to use the dinning room facilities was... More

Stayed one night on our way to the Highlands. We were very impressed by the property. Our en-suite bedroom would not have been out of place in a 5 star hotel. The owners have converted and maintained the property really well. The staff were very good and the breakfast enjoyable. You are very near to the main road and the... More

We stayed at this Guest House at the beginning and end of our holiday on Mull, travelling from Essex. It provided an excellent rest stop both times at the end of a long drive. We and our one year old got a very friendly welcome and were very well looked after. Our room was big and very comfortable with a... More

Travelled to Motherwell for a sporting event and chose this venue for the location to the motorway and city. On arrival the staff were very pleasant and helpful, showed to my room and explained everything I needed to know. The room was excellent, spotlessly clean, very spacious and the bed was huge! The bathroom was immaculate, with a Jacuzzi bath... More
